Place is turning around and happy to serve guests quickly and efficiently with food and beer.

a warm place to watch hockey. checkbeer. checkfood? no idea the bartender is only set up to handle an occasional fries or burger order. I will keep showing up for the beers and probably eat before I arrive from this point on, sad, some things go so well with hockey and beer!So great idea and much room for improvement

I have no beef with this place. I wouldn't take a date here though. Think of Stanley's as an old sports bar with a few faithful patrons who hang around. I've been here a handfull of times to watch Shark's games. There's usually 20-30 people for a regular game. The beer and food here are pretty good but hard to get - by that I mean the guy who tends bar also drives the zamboni, sharpens the skates, cooks the food and I think he also shingles the roof. AKA, he shows up once a period for 10 mins to take orders. If you don't get your order in...you're screwed for about 30 minutes.

Here on a regular basis while my son has hockey practice 2-3 times a week. Practice is 5PM to 7PM, Stanley's opens at 6PM. No matter that there is consistently 10 to 20 people from 5PM on that would love to order food and drink. I hope that they might try to officially open at 5PM and see if they pick up more business.When they are open, the service is usually great however the policy of having one person tend bar, as well as take and then prepare food orders has cost them business. Said person will sometimes disappear for 20 minutes to prepare food for multiple orders so there is often a crowd at the bar by the time they return. It would be great if they had a back up person for the busy hours.Good beer selection and fun to watch hockey, sports on the 2 large tvs. Most of the bar tenders are awesome!

Yelp says it well Two stars equals Meh. I've experienced better.If your looking for a cool spot to watch a hockey game in Fremont then this is definitely the spot to be. If your looking for a place to eat then you should probably think twice.If this place is a must then I would suggest you stay home for the day games since Stanley's doesn't serve drinks or food until 6PM.

Pretty much what you'd expect - no frills, but the food is good. The selection isn't huge but the fries are good!I prefer the S 10th street location.

First off the only reason I was here is because a friend was playing rec hockey. That being said the smell that first hits you when you walk in is the general stink of b/o, uncleaned locker rooms, and raw sewage.You climb the stairs to a "sports bar" that had one TV one for sports and the color so bad that it made every baseball player look like he had liver failure.So I ordered my food at the start of my friends game and by the time I got it, there were 2 min left in the third period.There was one girl working the bar when we walked in and she was overwhelmed with all the people.The management needs to look into their staffing policies. The only reason I will ever go back is for my friends hockey games

This place is much improved over the last few months. Nicer ambience and decor, you can actually hear the sharks games on the TVs now, and the staff is always friendly. Beers can be a little pricey but the selection is actually pretty solid now.

Nick is amazing and he deserves a raise!!! What a friendly and good time. Loved the white claws here

Ok so I came here there was was only one person taking my order and one person cooking food took over 40 mins do jot rev come to at all!!! Food is cheap service is bad
