Six Eleven

First time trying this place since firehouse closed. They have dolled this place up! I ordered the seared salmon and LOVED it! I will definitely come back again. Cute casual dinner spot in downtown Martinez. Perfect for a date night or to get drinks!

Been on the fence about visiting since this place opened but we were pleasantly surprised. The previous reviews with 1 or 2 stars must have been when this place first opened and were working out some kinks. The service was attentive and friendly. The salmon special was tasty and well portioned. They kept our beer and wine glasses full. The deep fried Oreos were a real treat, never had that before. It was also pretty packed for a Sunday evening which we were happy to see. Looking forward to summer and sitting at the outdoor patio when it's nice outside. Def will be back again. For any other Martinis on the fence, I'd say give this place a shot. WAY better than firehouse.

Service was on point from the moment one walks in the door of being greeted to being seat & the waitress taking over. We started with a glass of wine & the shoe string fried zucchini; the zucchini was yummy. We did an order of their salmon served over mashed potatoes & one of the specials - buffalo chicken wrap. The salmon was good; the chicken wrap came out cold though the wrap had obviously been heated as it had burnt/ charred spots about it. It may have helped if the plate was warmed, otherwise it was just cold all around. Meh We did dessert, the crème brûlée, which was not served in the proper dish, i.e., the dish should be shallower with more area to caramelize the top, so it come out crunchy or solid to break into, not the case here. The ambiance was casual, easy going. When we arrived they looked full, but as folks left their tables the tables did not turn back over, so not great.

Great experience. Andrew was an awesome server. Friendly and very helpful w/ recommendations. The food was amazing! Short rib parpadelle, clam chowder bowl, chicken sandwich, salmon salad, wine, desserts - tiramisu, berry tart, banana pudding, deep fried Oreos. Everything was on point. We sat outside, it was a bit chilly, but we were blessed w/ heaters to keep us warm because we had a service animal w/ us. Parking was easy, street parking available. Check it out!!

Staff is very friendly and welcoming, even if it's busy we always get accommodation with no reservations. Food is great and drinks are awesome. My husband and I have visited the past two Saturdays and it's been consistent and the same with each time! They have live music, today they had karaoke which had great ambience. Food is tasty and has good options. Don't let past reviews deter you from visiting :)

The previous good rated reviews on here seem to complete lies.....yes they're new but some of the issues from my lunch visit were not little things that should have been handled prior to opening the doors for business.The kitchen is afraid to cook to order it seems or doesn't know how and the servers don't know their menu.This all started when our server asked what we'd like to drink and he had no idea what they offered. He had to go to the bar to request the cans of seltzer to bring to the table to show us. First, he claimed they were tequilla based, which they are not. They're just a citrus seltzer. We ordered a burger medium rare that came out medium and a medium burger that came out well done. One of those burgers also came out missing half the topping ingredients, and the server didn't know it was even wrong. When we told him, he had to grab a menu to check. Our sliders came out with cheese, which was absolutely the kitchens fault as we verified on receipt that the server at least keyed this is correctly. We also attempted to order the zucchini fries, which they were already out of stock on....just weeks after opening and an hour after opening for the day, you're already out of stock on items? Unfortunately this was just a terrible experience and for the cost, is definitely not worth it. While we were so excited for a new offering in Martinez, because the town surely needs it, we will not be back. Hopefully they can correct their issues fast or sadly they'll be another one to not survive.

Came to their grand opening today! Heard about this restaurant from a friend and decided to support and give it a try! Loved the ambience and modern decor of the restaurant! Even the restrooms were decorated well.The food was delicious! I ordered zucchini fries, ribeye steak, and the bread pudding. The zucchini fries came out looking like shoestring fries. It wasn't what I expected it to look like, but it was still good. The ribeye was cooked medium rare to my liking and was soft and tender to eat; flavored well, too. It came with steamed spinach which was good, and with fingerling potatoes which were also soft and good. The bread pudding was soft, good, and had a nice crust to the top of it. The gelato on top of the bread pudding was good, and the strawberry compote that was on the side was very good as well. The restaurant was pretty cool with inside dining, outdoor dining, a bar area, and some live music. Parking was easy, too! There is metered parking, but it's free on Saturdays and Sundays.Had a good time here and plan to be back! (I overheard another customer say that the short ribs and the calamari were good, so I want to come back and try those..and also the butterscotch pudding, which my server said was sold out today).

Six Eleven opened a few months ago and is in the heart of downtown Martinez. Any kinks that were present in food quality or staffing have been worked out! The vibe is stylish and comfortable. We sat at the bar and were given fabulous service by the bartender Corey. Food was delicious (Get the zucchini strings!!) and the drinks were on point, especially the on-the-spot concoction for our friend who was rounding out an illness. We had such a nice experience that we returned for dinner tonight. Repeat performance - delicious food (burger! Short rib pappardelle! Zucchini primavera!) and fabulous drinks. If you're looking for a casual but elevated dining experience, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I'm not sure where all these 5 start reviews are coming from, must be paid for.Anyways, the experience is sub par. Service was slow, they literally had no wine list or drink list so we were unaware of pricing. We had to ask the server 3-4 times to "check" on wine pricing and we ended up getting a bottle of a mediocre red blend that was SEVENTY DOLLARS. We were extremely disappointed to say the least. Nothing was communicated to us about this.Also food quality is good, what is absurd is the pricing and portion sizing. Seriously needs to be re thought or checked. You get the absolutely tiniest portions for $25-40 a person, it's WILD. They kind of just threw black table cloths on tables to make it appear nicer, when in reality it's just a bar with restaurant tables.I had high hopes for this place but I think they are trying to be something they are not. Lower prices, or make your dishes bigger. Also, figure out the wine list and pricing that was a joke.

If I could describe my experience in a few words, it would sum up like this:If you are looking for Top Quality food, come here!Simply put this way, You get what you pay for. I got the burger and garlic fries, AMAZING. Martinez needed a place like this. Will surely be coming back to try the other items on their menu.Oh, & when you ask for a glass of wine, they really serve you a good glass of wine . Happy customer here!!
