Naglee Park Garage

Naglee Park Garage was recommended to us by our neighbor, who frequents the restaurant. My husband and I decided to check the place out for dinner on a Saturday night around 7pm. As we were pulling up to the restaurant, I recognized the area and realized I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The restaurant was adorable. Cozy and casual, which was perfect for date night. I appreciated how festive they were too. They were also all-in on the fall decor and Oktoberfest themed beer and bites. Excellent customer service. Friendly and helpful staff members and food came out in a timely manner. My husband ordered the brussels sprouts to share, which was highly recommended to us by our neighbor as well as wait staff. The balsamic and cranberries were nice touches to the overall flavors. I ordered a cod sandwich as my entree. I wasn't particularly fond of the bun that did not hold up well to the sauces, so I ate the filling of the sandwich with a fork and knife. I got 2 generous pieces of cod, and they were very crispy. I had a bite from my husband's burger and thought it was a solid burger. It was tasty and just felt clean with its quality ingredients. Lastly, we shared the vanilla bread pudding. It was such a decadent dessert with their homemade whipped cream and caramel. All it needed was a ice cream a la mode, because it came piping hot on a skillet. Speaking of homemade sauces, I really enjoyed Naglee Park Garage's homemade ranch and blue cheese dressing. The blue cheese dressing was especially unique.

The MOST MARVELOUS burgers I was looking for! The service was EXCEPTIONAL in a cozy and cute little nook

The staff were kind and attentive, especially my server. He listened to my beer preferences and brought me a few samples to try before ultimately deciding on the one that best fit my taste. The special was a braised beef in a bed of mashed potatoes. It tasted just like "homestyle" cooking, and lacked a bit of a restaurant kick to it, which is just a personal preference. The place was lively with a few couples that came in for a nice dinner date.

This restaurant is so cute!! Came here on a Monday evening because I was craving a burger and it popped up on Yelp. It's super close and convenient to where I live and is located right behind House of Bagels and next to 7-11. Only downside is that parking is a bit limited. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the cutest little dog sleeping on the floor. The worker told us her name was Barona and that she was friendly and we could pet her. We sat outside in their patio where they had benches and little tables. Ordered the burger (cooked medium) and served with fries. The burger was so juicy and the fries were so good!! Not to mention it came with a lot! They were fresh, crispy, and didn't feel oily or overly salty. We also decided to order the brussel sprouts halfway through eating because they sounded amazing - bacon, cranberries, balsamic reduction... oh my god. It was AMAZING! They were so crispy and the cranberries with the bacon give it that savory with a hint of sweet taste. Will definitely be coming back here soon to try other items on the menu.

Drove down from Palo Alto for dinner with some friends and I had high hopes for this place. It was relatively deserted, so that's no fun, but whatever. The server greeted us by announcing all of the beer and wine they were out of... and then the food was just ok. I actually left hungry for "something else."

Absolutely love this charming restaurant! Love that they have outdoor seating and an extra star because they have the CUTEST mascot dog named Barona. She's a sweetheart and so well behaved. Let's start with the ambience... at night it's really pretty with the string lights. Their menu is simple and changes often. I stick with the burger and the fries. I've also had the salmon fettuccine and the portions were Humungous! Enough for leftovers for another meal for the next day. A great place tucked into the beautiful Naglee park neighborhood. Parking is limited and shared with House of Bagels but the hours are different so you shouldn't have to worry about parking. Just a chill place to see the cutest dog, grab a drink, and support a local business!The owner was super nice and came to check on me and Chris my server was wonderful! Will be back again to try the different menu.

I've lived in the neighborhood over a year now and had been meaning to try for the longest time. It definitely doesn't have good parking options as it's tucked away next to a 7-11 and busy bagel shop but I think it works as lots of folks walk in the area since it's downtown near SJSU. When we walked in (group of 4) it's dark and has a bar area and food warmers. The staff gave us menus and said to seat ourselves wherever. There wasn't too much space inside so we went outside which is covered with tents and lighting. It's nicely decorated very fresh and green. My biggest gripe is customer service, being acknowledged and timeliness. This place took a while to have someone come out and take our order and bring water. Like 10mins or so. Once we finally got our order in the food came about 15min later staggered. There were other customers and it seemed they may have been a little short staffed. Our server was really nice once we knew she was assigned to help us. Quality is everything- and this plane gives it perfectly. The quality of all the ingredients was great - was fresh and well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I had the salad and the portion was humongous, brought half home. The wings were nice and crispy. My husband loved the steak and my son had no complaints on the burger. The pizza was well flavored with dimensional toppings that gave crisp, spice and sweetness from the bbq sauce. Overall happy we finally tried and will be making plans to eat here again soon.

My friends and I finally made it out here! Food was fantastic, some of the food we had was- the burrata which was served with a brothy onion and tomato consistency, then we had a super delicious Cobb salad, and we had a very generous buttery soft delicious rib eye steak over potatoes. We topped it off with the bread pudding that was served with real whipped cream -so good!

Food was great, clean and well-prepared. A great high-end option right next to campus.Great outdoor seating option also!
