Vibes are nice, but everything else is just ok. Food takes a while to come out as I think there's only a single staff member manning the food truck outside. A cool spot next to the water, though, so worth checking out if you're in the area.

Ate here a few times while at the Mermaid Series race. Order inside and then you're given a buzzer to pick up your food outside. Beautiful surroundings. Food tasty.

This place is a must-visit! The brewery not only has a solid selection of craft beers but also an amazing food menu that pairs perfectly with the drinks. The French dip is mouthwatering, and their shareable nachos are perfect for a group. On top of that, the live music nights create such a lively and fun atmosphere--there's always a great mix of local talent that keeps the night exciting. The staff is attentive, and the whole experience is just fantastic. Whether you're there for the beer, the food, or the music, you won't be disappointed!

The Mare Island Coal Shed is a fun time! You can grab a drink and a snack and enjoy time on the back patio overlooking the water. On a sunny day, kids can ride scooters and play games while parents can relax with a drink. The place has a nice, friendly vibe.

The location of this Mare Island Brewery is great for groups and people with dogs or kids. Or just your regular party of four on a sunny day. Wish I'd been able to bring my kids here with bikes or scooters when they were little. Love the steam beer (tastes kinda like Anchor) but they have a great selection on tap for whatever you like. They have good selection of wines and even sodas (regular Coke, sprite, etc. plus a few Jones sodas). Order food at the counter and pick up at their food truck. Clam chowder and veggie chili were great. The MIBC Jr. burger and Ahi burger were good. Fries were just ok. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Easy-peasy parking, clean restrooms that are shared with businesses in the same building. Dog water and bowls were available. Happy people, happy dogs, happy kids.

Came here on a lunch break and the place is so spacious. Would def be a good spot for an event or party. Also great for dogs since there's lots of outdoor seating.The chicken tacos were delicious. You order food inside and pick up at the truck outside. Lots of tables inside and outside (shaded and not shaded) to choose from. Seasonal coffee stout was good. They have a popcorn machine inside which smelled amazing but I was already full. There's also a small section of merchandise to choose from such as clothing and tumblers. Service was quick and friendly. After you stuff yourself you can walk along the riverfront. Great spot!

We like coming here a lot. The location is great! It's right on the water. There is plenty of parking. The atmosphere is very nice. The service is wonderful. The food is yummy, great price and good potions. And the beer is good.

Mare island has so much potential in attracting new businesses. Surprised there aren't more opening shop. On the plus side, I've glad to have found this brewery. The history and waterfront view makes it special.They do offer sampling, but I just took a chance and randomly tried a few. The Vallejo (Mexican Ale) and Survivor's Tale (Pale Ale) was an enjoyment to have on a warm day. I look forward in trying the others offerings on another visit.Their Braised Pork Shoulder Nachos was not bad at all. Just needed something to munch on. I even tried tried popcorn and that paired nice as well.It be nice to bring a fishing pole and drop a line in the Napa river while enjoying some beers, but that's prohibited. That alone won't stop from returning.

Love the vibes at this brewery. The workers are always friendly. The seating reminds me of school lunch tables. Indoor is spacious but the seating can be limited because each party occupies an entire table. They have games you can play that you exchange with the bartender for your ID, such as darts, foosball, dominos, etc. Outdoor seating has more availability and has a beautiful view since it is right by the water. They even have fire pits in the evening. The beers they offer are unique and have a good flavor. I personally like the cider. The food is prepared at a truck outside and is decent- I ordered the portobello mushroom burger and potato salad as a side. I liked the rosemary flavor on the burger. I've also had the pulled pork nachos before and enjoyed them. Great Vallejo spot.
