Johnny's

Johnny's opens silently where 991 Club once was. it's passing for months hasn't been noticed. the interior hasn't changed. of which the new "bar counter" wasn't mentioned in my review. the former owner was irate for this oversight. Dude! it's the booze! not some shiny features that attracts customers.. it wasn't for this reason alone that I didn't return. the 991patrons weren't open to listening to verifiable facts. this is the main reason I didn't return. Johnny's owner is a veteran in this biz. he has a place in Newark and another in Hayward. Johnny's is now a welcoming experience for newbies. lots of parking onsite as well. drink: hazy beer draft from Lagunistas (7)-not like the fruity versions, has resemblance to ira's.-12 drafts including 805, bud, Denognizer (2 limit)on drafts:-didn't notice any specials nor happy hours post. -$3 cans of Bud, PBR, Miller's now available...-part time day bartender is cool who happens to be a Cowboys fan...-I drink a lot less (booze) these days......

Had a super fun time! The DJ was outstanding, Friday and Saturday from what I was told. I definitely will be back. Bartendar was awesome too, really good pour.

All the "Johnnys" in SL are cool, SUPER clean ! All 5 of 'em ! I like the one in the manor.

Wish this place would close down. The amount of tires scratching nightly and the yelling is ridiculous. Never had this issue before these newer owners took over. The motorcycle leaving there and flying up and down the road is not ok.

We wandered in on a Friday night around 10pm. The bar was dead no DJ or band. The four of us ordered one drink and my girlfriend had the Long Island Ice Tea which was watered down and they charged me $15 for it. When I brought it up to the bartenders attention she just shrugged and walked away, proceeding to the other end of the bar and doing shots with her friends. There was an older woman dressed like a homeless woman behind the bar and asked us if we needed anything but our group wanted to leave. The older frumpy woman must of been the owner. She was cleaning behind the bar but we just wanted to get out of there and not start a scene.

Johnny's is a "neighborhood" bar. You can stop in after work, watch a variety of sports fames, billiard table (1). Beer and a shot 12 taps. The folks behind the bar "echo" your greeting. Say "hello" and walk in; pull up between a patron at the bar and Wait patiently to place your order.
