Jalapenos Mexican Food

This review is specifically for their taco Tuesday deal. Staff was attentive and immediately sat our table of 3, right around dinner time. Our waitress was busy but checked on us just the right amount. She apologized that they ran out of chocolate for the hot chocolate, but I got a horchata instead, which was delicious. We got $1 tacos and there's a topping bar so you can flavor it to your hearts content. Free chips when you first sit down, but I believe there's a charge if you ask for a refill. 5 or 6 tacos definitely hit the spot, but you can easily order more. We got the asada and it was a solid choice for a $1 each. The onions and jalapeños were my favorite. Music and lots of conversation around you, but not to the point of being overwhelming. Careful though, you may lose phone connection due to it being a dead spot. However, a solid spot for taco Tuesday deals.

Food was ok they just need to add flavor to the food it is plain lobe the barbakua taco I wish they can add veggies to it like salad tomato's onion and more Also they are plate need more flavoredService was excellent The place is nice

They have great daily specials. From $1 Tacos to $8 Enchiladas. Both are good. We've ordered a few times and our orders have been correct. We typically order for takeout but they do seem to get busy inside as well. Staff are usually friendly.

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Vallejo! The entire staff & bartenders there make you feel like family. And not to mention the food is excellent! I mean true authentic Mexican food. I'm blessed I live close by to enjoy this restaurant whenever I want.

What can I say for 99 cent tacos in this economy? I ordered 20 tacos, al pastor and carne asada, and they were just as expected for cheap tacos. Cold and little to no meat. I don't want to be rude to the restaurant itself, I a have eaten here in the past and I was happy with the service and meat to tortilla ratio. Today though, different story. In the past I ordered six tacos and they delivered all in one plate with plenty of meat, today 10 tacos and 15% meat in the plate, and 85% tortilla?! Ridiculous! I'm eating in person next time because they gave more meat in person and I love the lively music and nice staff. I will come again and order less, that is when they give more.

Jalapeños is a gem in Vallejo, the rice, the beans, the happy hour all day during the week. Taco Tuesday is great! I've had several people come out for that! You get meat in a tortilla and you can go up to a bar and add onion, cilantro, salsa, radish, and jalapeños! It is great! 30% off enchiladas on Thursday and they are great! I love the mole style sauce they put on them! Love love love this place!

My favorite spot in the area hands down! We've been coming here for years, delicious food, great drinks, freezing beer on tap, what else do you need!? Alex and Anthony are great part of the staff along with Nelson and Chicho. Come and support them and dollar tacos on tuesday!

I'm actually so disgusted! I had a cockroach in my shrimp cocktail I'm pregnant to top it off what a health hazard! Local health department needs to do a check up on this restaurant I'm disgusted
