Comet Club

Comet Club is a small bar with booth seats and a space for dancing. The DJ on the weekends is usually putting on a pretty good mix of popular rap and pop songs with an occasional house beat thrown in there. Drinks are around $10 each, which is not too bad for the city. Generally young crowd, though the last time I was here there was a strange vibe but good people watching. Kinda empty for a Saturday, so we left after we finished a round.

Good vibes- I would come back again. Fairly priced drinks for the city and fun music :)

St Patrick's Day, I found myself in the Marina with some old college bros and at some point of the night we ended up back her twice, so it was definitely a good time. I even ended up back here the following night with the another group of friends, who didn't enjoy it as much, but I found a way to make it fun. The first time we arrived it was around 7:30-8ish, and there was no line and we were able to have the place basically to ourselves. We were able to snag a table to sit, chill, and catch up. I ordered a round of drinks and was like damn $117? Didn't think anything of it because hey, it's SF, but it wasn't until I got home did I see on the receipt that '18% gratuity' was added automatically to my bill which was kinda crazy for a bar because we ordered bud lights and seltzers that require little to no bartending skills. On top of that I didn't see that it was included, and their receipts have the suggested tips with boxes you can check. So I ended up tipping out an additional 20% on top of the 18%. Nearly $40 in tips for bud lights and seltzers lol. Lesson learned, always check the receipts and ask if gratuity is included before tipping more than you have to. The crowd is definitely on the younger side for the Marina. As long as there's a dance floor, I'll be cool wherever I am. The DJs were alright. As someone who's been in the club scene, it's all about reading the crowd, and that's definitely something where I think the music choices could improve. Didn't stop me from dancing my heart out all night. It gets tight on the dance floor, so be ready to be shoulder to shoulder with your fellow patrons. Shout out to the bouncers for keeping things in order all night. They were on top of the issues and keeping everyone safe both nights.

This SF club offers a budget-friendly option for a Saturday night out with a flat $5 cover charge for everyone. The music playlist is quite diverse, featuring a mix of top 100 hits, hip hop, pop, and even a bit of country. It's a place where you can enjoy a variety of tunes without breaking the bank.

Such a sad vibe for a Saturday night. Pretty much empty. Even the music was quiet. Skip this place and go where the people are down the street...

Stopped by for Saturday happy hour for a couple of drinks and found out they serve Tackos food! It was sooooo delicious I ordered the quesadilla and my friend got the tacos! It was reasonably priced and really tasty!

The reason I don't go to live music anymore. Overpriced drinks, the worst, most dehumanizing toilet in town, no air conditioning or ventilation. Let's cram in as many people as we can and treat them like garbage. This and so many other venues in SF. I'm done.

You guys might be too drunk to notice but this place is absolutely INFESTED with mold. Black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, mold in the iconic photo booth. It's absolutely chilling. Do not go here it is so gross

I've never had a bad time here! The bartenders and bouncers are nice and attentive. Vibes are always great! So are the drinks! Just a good place to be no matter the day. Huge plus is they also have a photo booth! Highly recommend for a great night. The bartenders are especially great!
