I absolutely adore this place! Never met a more friendly bar...and I bartend hahahaha! I'm pretty friendly and they take the cake....super nice bartender on a fridays night. Another bartender was so kind to buy me a drink. I'll be back!!! The owner is FEMALE and she takes care of her staffMuch respect...

This bar is the best! Just moved to El Sobrante, and I was looking for a nice bar to get some drinks. This bar was recommended to me by a nice gentleman that I met at the Hotsy Totsy. As soon as I walked in, the bartenders and patrons were super nice and welcoming. The drinks are cold and delicious. This is the type of bar where everyone knows your name, and it's the absolute best! Also, the karaoke is super cool. I highly recommend it! Just be sure to have cash on you, this is a cash only bar. There is a ATM machine too in case you forget.

If you're looking for a hidden treasure with a funny, personable bar tender, you should try out this place! Their bar tender is really nice and always strikes up a conversation with you.. She makes drinks quickly and never pressures you to spend more money than you have. The drinks are CHEAP ($3 for regular bottled beer, even less for tap).The bar is decorated with classic signs like "Prices of drinks are subject to change depending on customer's attitude" and have you ever seen the singing Bass? They have one with big boobies. I go most Friday nights when they have Karaoke with a real sweet woman named PJ. She's phenomenal and gets the crowd engaged; there's about 8 people who come and sing every week and they're all really good! Quite a show! It's a great place to bring your date because it's not some fancy foo-foo Paris Hilton-type-bar and the entertainment on Friday nights is pretty wicked!

It's 2017, time to accept credit cards. Seriously, what century are you in? Take credit cards. Cash is an archaic form of accountancy. Take credit cards. Your profile says you take credit cards, it's 2017, take credit cards. Be warned: In addition to not taking credit cards like their profile says, they have an ATM which, I'm sure, will bleed you of a few dollars. Their parking is extremely limited, there's no street parking and they don't take credit cards. Why would I drink there?

The best place in El Sobrante! Bartenders are great & everyone I've met is super friendly. It's like "Cheers", where everyone knows your name. Outdoor seating/patio. No Karaoke anymore, but if you like playing pool, there is always someone who you can get a game with.

Been here more than a few times. Not a large place. It's a classic local bar. People know each other and appear to be accepting of new customers. Encountered a few bartenders and they've all been unfailingly friendly, although I'm a beer and bourbon guy, so I'm admittedly pretty low maintenance.They have a pool table that is hotly contested by some very good regulars. I'm decent at the game, but don't expect to win unless you get them drunk first.Pours are about as expected. Rarely heavy or light. You get what you pay for.They have multiple (4) TVs, so you can request any local sports event, but they do not have any packages, so not a place to see out-of-area games.Never seen a fight or any drama. It's... nice. A good place to have a beer and meet new people.
