Ciccio holds a special place in my heart, and after visiting again for our one-year wedding anniversary, I can confidently say it remains a MUST every time we're near or around Napa Valley. This gem was recommended to us during our honeymoon last year, and it's where my wife and I shared our first dinner as Mr. and Mrs. Needless to say, it's more than a restaurant to us--it's a cherished memory. On this visit, we were thrilled to be seated at the same table as our first time (Cute, I know, right?) The team went above and beyond, greeting us with glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary--a thoughtful and memorable touch. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. You can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Seriously, close your eyes and point--you're guaranteed to love it. This time, we enjoyed the Caesar Salad, the incredible Meatball-Stuffed Chard, the Gnudi (a delicious twist on Cacio e Pepe with burnt peppercorn--so good), and the Pepperoni Pizza, which comes with Hot Honey. That combination? Pure perfection. Every dish was packed with flavor and expertly crafted.Beyond the food, Ciccio has great vibes, a spotless and welcoming environment, and a friendly staff that makes you feel like family. The setting? Your nonna's giant dining room. If you're planning to visit, make a reservation--it's practically required, and for good reason. This place is always bustling with happy diners who know how special it is.Ciccio isn't just a meal; it's an experience, and for us, a trip down memory lane. We can't wait to come back again and again. Thank you, Ciccio, for helping make our anniversary unforgettable!

Alas, this is not the Ciccio I knew and loved all those years ago. Change is expected after a decade but I was expecting the food to still be good. Maybe I was there on an off night? We ordered the meatball stuffed chard, gnudi, agnolotti and mushroom pizza, and I had a (pomegranate?) margarita. The best thing we had was the mushroom pizza, which had good flavor and a generous mound of mushrooms--nice! The meatball stuffed chard was...fine. Both the gnudi and agnolotti were too salty, and I do not shy away from salt! Those two dishes and the syrupy, Negroni-tasting margarita were kind of disappointing.Service was also...fine. Our server did their job but seemed to be low on patience. Again, perhaps it was just an off night.I think I went in with my expectations too high but then again, too salty is too salty. And the "margarita" wasn't really a margarita. I'm open to going back but might need a little nudge and would stick to pizza, wine and beer.

We got here just before 8pm on a Tuesday and it was packed! But we were still able to get seated right away. The dining area is really just one big room, with the open kitchen visible in the back of the room. Service was friendly and attentive. They do have some outdoor seating on their patio, where dogs are allowed. My husband and I each ordered our own pizzas. I do recommend getting the ranch add-on. The yeast makes it so flavorful! The interior was very cozy and festive for the holidays.

Finally, we were able to try Ciccio. We offen go to Napa Valley for the day and stay during early afternoon after brunch, but this place is only open at dinner time, so we haven't gone. Luckily, I was able to snag a resy at the opening time. My daughter was coming with us at the last minute so there were up 3 of us - so I noted it on the comments and they called me to confirm. Luckily, the host was so awesome and accommodated us and gave us a couple of seating options. Had the caesar salad - amazing! Pizza - great - gnocchi cacio - all great.

All of the pastas we tried here were incredibly good, and we were fighting over which ones were the best among the agnolotti, the gnudi, and the linguine. (I know, pastas being good at an Italian restaurant? Crazy.) Each of the three had a slightly different flavor, but each was rich and well-seasoned, and I personally enjoyed the pistachios in the agnolotti and the hints of ground black pepper in the second. I also learned that potato pizza is a growing trend, and for good reason: it's surprisingly good. The pork chop also has some incredible breading, reminiscent of an even more bread-y Taiwanese fried chicken. The Petaluma chicken and the chopped salad (rancho gordo beans anyone?) were pretty satisfactory as well, although they were a bit dry and sour, respectively, and I'd avoid the sashimi (tasty but small portions).

This is such a special Yountville restaurant! If you want a quaint, intimate, dining experience, come to Ciccio. The waiters were extremely attentive and let us know of daily specials. They were checking in on us and provided insight into what their favorite dishes were. We started off with drinks, and my partner got Blood and Stone cocktail and I got a whiskey sour. Following that, we order a Caesar salad and focaccia bread to share. Both were phenomenal. For our entrees, we shared the agnolotti dish (with mortadella and sunflower seeds) and the pepperoni pizza. Such a great experience! One of my favorite restaurants in Napa Valley. :)

I was able to get same-day reservations at 5p with a small group; there was a wait by the time we left. Better to make a reservation if you can! Ambiance was interesting; it's more on the casual side and looked like an indoor picnic area. Service was great; our server was friendly and patient. Menu (3/5): Small menu, small entrees except pizza. If you have a large party coming in, there is a large format menu you can order from with 24-hour notice. Sicilian Linguine (3.5/5): This was my favorite dish of the night, loved the anchovy and toppings with the linguini. Small portion size relative to the price. Gnudi (1/5): I personally did not like this due to the gamey-ness. I learned that pennyroyal cheese is a mix of sheep/goat milk. Hahaha this dish is not factored into my overall review since this rating is based on my personal palate. Avocado Pizza (3/5): I liked this pizza, it was refreshing to have some greens/reds. I would've liked to have more toppings and cheese, less crust. While this was good, it wasn't special. Pepperoni Pizza (4/5): Solid pizza. The hot honey and the tomato sauce made this pizza great. The tomato sauce is quite salty. Overall, tried this place once and I'm happy with the experience. If it weren't for the pizza, I probably would've gone home still hungry. It would be great to see more options on the menu & a re-evaluation of value for the price they're charging.

The tomato pizza is one of the most authentic wood fired pizzas you can get outside of Italy. It's perfection in a form of pizza. The potato pizza is also good, different from the tomato, but good. Sashimi, yes, get it, yum. Gnudi, cheesy balls of cacio pepe, also delicious. Cesar salad, phenomenal, I can eat the entire plate myself, but it's for sure meant to be shared. Volpaia Chianti pairs perfectly with every dish we had. Make sure ti let it open up and breathe a bit. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Inside dining area was full, and thankfully there was a table outside, as we had no reservation and was able to be sat immediately. Definitely coming back here. It's magnificent.

New place for my friend and I to try this time around. It had just been reopened since we were here last year, it did not disappoint. I had made reservations for a Tuesday 7:30 PM dinner for two well in advance. The place is very homey, relaxed and small. Upon arrival we were greeted and seating. Laura our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered the Spicy Margaritas, Caesar Salad, Yellowtail Sashimi and a Pepperoni Pizza. When the Caesar Salad arrived it was huge. I was able to cancel the Yellowtail appetizer. The Salad was excellent. When the pizza arrived, OMG, it looked so good and honestly, it was the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had, SERIOUSLY! Don't miss this place!Atmosphere: small, farmhouse feel. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.

All, but one of our dishes were uniquely poor. Our server never poured the wine, not one time. We complained that some dishes were so poorly executed that we could not eat them. Regrettably, they did nothing!!! We even had to stand up and go to the kitchen to request new plates as we were not willing to eat the nasty food that was on our plates. It must be so shocking that we did not want to use the same plates, covered in bad food, for the next dish. This restaurant is indifferent and ridiculous in my opinion. Extremely disappointing!
