Another recommendation from Tish on the move! This food was absolutely delicious. We didn't have a reservation, but were able to sit on the heated patio which was very comfortable. We started with the olives, which are seasoned and fried. Delicious if you like olives. We then moved to the pesto pasta. With a sprinkle of added salt, it's top notch. For my entree, I went with the risotto with scallops. It was so delicious!

Have been here numerous times for family events, touring visitors, and romantic dates. I have only ever been seated outside, and I find it's the best place to be especially in California weather! The ambiance matches the service here as well. Anyone I have ever ordered from or talked to here has always been helpful and diligent in helping me find something to order in case I want to change things up. Food here is incredible! There has not been one thing I have disliked here. My favorites would include the carpaccio, gnochetti, mandilli handkerchief pasta, pork chop, and the veal. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and as if it was made with so much care and love. Bistro Don Giovanni and it's sister restaurant Scala Osteria are seriously some of the best places in my mind to stop by for a hearty and delicious meal with those you love.

On a prior visit to Napa Valley, Bill R Elite Yelper from San Francisco Bay Area recommended Bistro Don Giovanni, with near perfect weather, took a day trip to Napa Valley, and was able to scored an outdoor dining reservation on a busy but very pleasant Friday afternoon.Spectacular ambiance, though I was there for business lunch, but looks like the perfect place for a romantic dinner or celebration. Food was delicious, roasted shishito chili peppers, grilled Allen Bros. Ribeye with peppercorn sauce and fries, cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, 5 of 5, the Ravioli, filled with spinach, pecorino, half bellwether ricotta lemon cream and half tomato sauce, Don Giovanni has an impressive wine list, opted for glass of Querciabella, a classic Chianti, dessert menu looked great too but decided to pass as I was headed to Castello di Amorosa. Parking is limited and sadly, they have no valet parking service, I had no issues finding a place, but I can see how that can become a problem if parking is full, as there is no place to park near by, limo or ride share is recommended. I have dined at dozens of Napa Valley restaurants, and most are very good to excellent, Don Giovanni is one of the best, and look forward to visit again them in the near future.

Had a fantastic time with my senior client from the veterans home who really wanted some gazpacho but he settled for the Italian spicy Italian pizza with broccoli Rob and mozzarella. Thin crust was beautiful. I ended up having the Tuscan bread tomato-based soup with whole beans and spinach fantastic. Really enjoyed it. I've been here a few times before, but not in a while and it was the service was good. It wasn't too many people there And we just enjoyed great food and just relaxing and highly recommend.

I've heard positive things about Bistro Don Giovanni before but hadn't had the chance to dine here until recently.A recent day trip to Napa with a few others and a friend in the group recommended this restaurant for lunch. It was a rainy, Saturday afternoon and since we didn't have reservations, we were seated at a table at the bar.The place was super busy at lunch time. Service was a little slow to start but once the server came by to tell us about the specials, it picked up and he was more attentive throughout the rest of our meal. Water refills did require some prompting from our end though. We started with complimentary focaccia bread that we dipped in olive oil. It was fantastic. We also ordered the fritto misto which was quite addicting as it was fried perfectly and had just the right amount of batter. My husband got the pork chop which he really enjoyed. Someone else at the table got the gnochetti lamb ragu and another got the bambini pizza (which came with a side of fries). I chose one of the daily specials which was a sea bass ravioli in truffle butter. I liked the ravioli but the truffle flavor was lacking. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes. For lunch, BDG is a bit too heavy for me, but I can't wait to come back for dinner and try some other dishes.

Location: Napa, but not anywhere close to anything except the Senza hotel and Ashes&Diamonds winery.Amazing Italian bistro with more seating available outside now! Food was delish, service was attentive. We sat near the fountain outside, so it felt very European. Reservations recommended, the place was packed!

Visited Napa recently and had an amazing time here at Bistro Don Giovanni. It was a much bigger venue than I expected but still a cozy vibe! The perfect meal of carbs with pizzas and pastas after a day of wine tasting. I especially enjoyed the pastas (the spaghetti with clams) but the pizzas were nice and chewy too. Definitely worth a visit after a trip to Napa!

My honey that lives locally within Napa is the one that first introduced me to Don G's. She had picked up dinner one year for my birthday since I didn't feel like leaving the house but still wanted to experience the deliciousness. On another occasion, we decided to dine in (August 2024) and this is what we ordered -BruschettaBolognese pastaRavioli Lemon CreamSide of White BeansWatermelon FizzStrawberry Acqua Fresca with VodkaCappuccinoButterscotch PuddingWhen I say that everything is literally as delicious as the photos, that is no joke. The white beans are smothered in a butter sauce and seasoned perfectly. The pudding is so silky and melts in your mouth. For my lemon cream vegetarian pasta, I always ask for a little more citrus flavor or lemon zest and it was perfect!!!Don G's is incredible. Whether you are feeling like dining in, or ordering take out, you absolutely must try it. Prices are fair for the location and quality of service and atmosphere. I can't wait till our next visit here! Bookmark today!

The atmosphere at Bistro Don Giovanni was wonderful. They have a really nice covered outdoor seating area. I was so optimistic about this place after reading so many positive Yelp reviews. I am sorry to report that the food was not very good. My husband got the pork chop, and it was really dry. Almost to the point of being uneatable. He didn't tell the waiter as we were with a large party and didn't want to make a scene. I got the gnocchi and it was okay. It wasn't particularly flavorful, and there was very little meat. Maybe what we ordered were misses but I would skip Don Giovanni next time I was in Napa.
