"Okay so let's be honest the first time I tried this spot it was just meh! So we have it some time to come into its own and let's just say it's come a long long way! The food is extra delicious now! I got the carne asada burrito and while it's not SoCal approved lol it's definitely running a close second I can't even lie. They also have delicious refried beans which I feel like is not a staple up here. You can't always find them especially not good ones. So that made the burrito even more delicious! And whatever is in that green salsa is addicting!! Writing this review has me wanting to go back right now lol! Staff is super friendly and they are really patient which I appreciate always because so many people these days are impatient. Thanks Rico Rico I'll be back again soon!"

"We were looking for Mexican food locally and found this spot based on Yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. Placed a pick up order online 5 items roughly $65! But worth it, the food was good and filling! My husband went to pick up the food and was surprised to see that no one was inside and it looked pretty much closed but to our surprise we enjoyed our dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day."

"This is a goto place for uncomplicated good eats.I have a few places downtown that are always good on the taste buds when all else fails, and this is one of them. Many of my favorite spots have closed or changed business hours so I can't frequent them these days. I came across this place a few months back and they haven't failed me so far. Formerly CamBurger it's under new ownership, with new food and a cool new interior. My favorite item on the menu is the Baja fish tacos (love them!), I've also had the chicken wings, shrimp over rice & the Garlic noble shrimp which are all great. That staff is pretty cool & fully friend which goes a long way in Oakland or anywhere. The interior is clean, well decorated and has a plush plant vibe going on.Cheers!"

"Omg yum!! My bf and I were starting a road trip and needed to grab some food for the road. We were craving good burritos so we called in some California burritos and they did not disappoint. I typically get carne asada and he gets chicken. I usually find chicken to be kind of bland but man, both of these burritos were super good. They have some special sauce in there that makes them flavorful and juicy - totally coming back for more!! We also grabbed a order of plantains which came with a sweet sauce - these were also very on point. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised and didn't expect to find something so good, fast, and easy right off of the freeway.Oh and they are located in a shopping center so there is parking, some spaces are tight but there are plenty! They accept orders in person, phone or online. See you next time!"

""Visit Oakland" put out a list of the best taco trucks in Oakland and I am slowly making my way through the list. Last week I made a lunch stop at La Grana Fish. They are known for their queso-birria, although the real star of the show is a lightly battered baja fish taco, that is fried to a golden brown topped with thinly sliced cabbage, pico de gallo and an addictive chipotle crema. I also ordered the pineapple and spinach agua fresca to wash it all down. It was the perfect lunch meal. Seating is spacious with a laid-back brewery feel. It was a chilly fall day but the sun was out and I enjoyed sitting in the mostly empty patio. Staff was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed."

Guy behind the counter was very friendly. Burritos were really good. I liked the fact that the flour burritos were quickly heated up on the grill before wrapping the contents. "Our first visit was a 5 star experience with goat birria plate, birria plate, and the chicken and shrimp taco Tuesday special. Everything was on point that we came back for takeout just a few weeks later. The goat birria was still delicious and the birria tacos were great but the shrimp in the Taco Tuesday taco was so tiny (1/5 of the size of the orignial) that it reminded me more of shrimp salad sized shrimps. Our third visit, we were told after we ordered that they were out of the goat birria so we tried the Mediterranean side with the mix plate. Nice that their mediterranean side is as good as their Mexican side. Our most recent visit was more of a 3 star as we noticed that the offerings for Taco Tuesday no longer has the shrimp which given the size of them last time, probably for the best. Was disappointed that their goat birria is no longer offered daily, so we tried the birria ramen. Didn't realize the ramen was Tapacio ramen similar to Cup O Noodle so was thirsty all night.Over four visits, it's a bit of a hit or miss at this point so more of a 3 1/2 star overall now especially if the goat birria is not available daily now but bumping up to 4 since their employees are friendly.and their birria tacos are still worth coming in for."

Even though the taqueria is close by, we didn't have time to wait another half hour for them to fix it. Carne asada is the stand out protein. The super tacos itself are great, I love how they include slices of avocado on each taco and the plate came with pickled jalapeños and a lime. Overall I would definitely reorder from this place! "Another Instagram restaurant found!!!!!The outside is super nice. All the decor was nice! It just draws your attention! Great job on that!THE FOOD HERE IS IMMACULATE!!!!!! Everything was perfect! I have no complaints about the food at all. The portions were huge. My family and I got two things off the menu each and we didn't eat everything there. We had food for the next day, literally lol The guys taking our order was very sweet and helpful! Appreciate them especially because most things on the menu were in Spanish but we had no problem ordering at all. They also have a truck that you can order from outside but we definitely got the full experience with eating inside Horchata 10/10!!Now the alcohol drinks ... for a $30 flight .. I'm not expecting to be super intoxicated but it tasted like premade juice. I don't think any of the drinks was worth it for the price but it's super cute but it wasn't worth it to me. That's literally my only complaint. I didn't get a photo of the salsa bar but that was very convenient! I love this place and I can't wait to go back. Thank you guys soooooooo much!"

"I'll never say no to tacos! I placed my order on snackpass around noon on a Friday and my order was ready in 10 minutes. I got three tacos for $3.50 each and a churro. For meats, I got carne asada, Al pastor, and pollo asada. The carne asada was my favorite. They did not skimp on the filling! Lots of meat, which was topped with a lot of red onion and cilantro. The red onion was really fresh. The tacos came with a bag of chips and 3 types of salsa. The churro was also really good. Crispy, sugary, fried dough? What's not to love. The interior is pretty small. There are a few small tables inside and a couple small tables outside. Personally, I'll always be getting my orders on the go. Overall, I would come back again and am curious to try other items on the menu."

"Some reviews just can't wait, and this is one of them. I'd like to think I'm gatekeeping - or that by not revealing, I'd be gatekeeping - but I think I'm already late to the party. This spot is probably already gaining popularity, but if you haven't tried it, I think I'm gonna have to go ahead and recommend it, at least based on our first meal.I ordered a grande burrito - it was big! Take a look at the pictures. The food was fresh, but the sauces definitely steal the show. You gotta try them. There's one smoky one that's unique- never had it anywhere else - and then they have a chipotle one that's really good.Couple that with the fact that their low prices are hard to find in the Bay, and yeah, this place is solid. It's actually called Tacos Blue Diamond, not Taco Blue Demon - I guess their name changed and it hasn't been updated. The cashier also gave me a free Nacho Libre mask, I guess because I was a new customer, but he says he gives them out to new customers and kids.Try their salsa bar - they've got some spicy options and some unique ones. Definitely putting this one on my list of spots to hit when I'm craving Mexican food."

"I came up from a long walk and this was a saving grace . Tbh I didn't know they had this location . Located on fruitvale and foothill. It's located in a laundromat parking lot. Great place to eat when you are washing or just passing by . You can park your car and they are open late. I had a great experience I got a basic carne asada burrito . The meat was tender and juicy, the rice and beans were flavorful as well . The customer service was awesome."

"Tacos Sinaloa is my go-to taco place in Oakland and just the East Bay in general. All of their tacos are so tasty and the service is always consistently top notch. Sinaloa is a coastal state in Mexico, so they offer amazing seafood dishes like tostadas with shrimp and octopus and great fish tacos.This their first location and most spacious in Oakland. I tend to order the same options, Suadero and Cabeza tacos. Every once in a while I order Al Pastor or Carnitas to change it up a bit.The Ambiance is nice, you definitely feel Oakland energy in this neighborhood and they have several parking spaces available. I always take new friends or Family that are visiting to grab some amazing food and take in the local culture.Grab some tacos and enjoy the seafood as well along with some tasty Agua Fresca options. Even when branching out to new places, we always end up back to Tacos Sinaloa to eat our favorite tacos! Order several taco options and you will likely fall in love, sure hope you give them a chance. ^_^"
