"Much, much better! I see there has been changes to the management, so we thought we'd give them another chance. At first we were to be seated in the larger dining area alone, but we asked to be on the bar side. They accommodated us without issue. To me the bar side is warmer in atmosphere and the Warriors were on the television. Thank you for that. Our server was attentive, friendly and had a great sense of humor. Our first surprise since our last visit, was the bread. Previously it was unappealing plain white bread, but now it is a very nice sourdough. It would have been even better warmed. We then ordered Clam Strips and Clam Chowder as appetizers. They were also much better than our last visit. While really good, the chowder needed more seasoning. We all hit it with S&P and it was great! One of my favorite appetizers was the crab cakes, If I have know they were that good, I would have ordered them as my entree'.We then ordered salad with our entree's. It was fresh and a nice companion to the main dish. I had the Cajun Scallop & Shrimp saute' and enjoyed every bite. My wife had the grilled prawns with garlic butter, also really good. And last, my son ordered the muscles. He said the muscles were good, but that he expected them in a cream sauce, whereas, the sauce was more of a light broth that needed to be doctored. That aside, a very nice dinner was enjoyed by us all. We will definitely be back!"
"Visiting from out of town and staying close to the neighborhood- The Park Street Tavern was an amazing find! We called ahead to see if reservations were needed and the person on the phone was kind, friendly, and gave us a table for two within the hour. When we arrived we knew we had found a gem, the bar area was filled with smiling and laughing patrons, cheering with full cocktails and raving about the food they had just had. We were met with a smiling face at the door and taken to our table immediately. The ambiance is wonderful- definitely an old school vibe, with eclectic art/decor on the walls that made it feel like a cozy spot I'd been to times before. Our server arrived to the table and all I have to say is WOW ANTONIO! He was WONDERFUL. Smiling, chatting, menu recommendations, drink recommendations, he was exactly the face we wanted to see at our table. We started with the beet salad and the wedge- both absolutely delicious, tried and true starters full of flavor and just enough difference to make it their own. Our entrees were the salmon w/risotto and the chicken piccata. Again, menu staples but cooked well, full of flavor, and absolutely satisfying. We finished off dinner with the lemon torte. This was spectacular! Not too sweet, not too sour- the perfect blend of citrus, almond, and berry. When it came to the drinks- they were above and beyond! The Sazerac was exceptional, definitely warned you up on the cold evening, and the non-alcoholic Cherry Lime Royale hit all the notes of a well made cocktail- sweet, tart, refreshing, and the rosemary added an extra I was not expecting- but delightfully delicious. I highly recommend this establishment, and if you can request to sit in Antonios section! You won't be disappointed!"

"I love this place, love jazz music and the bartender Alexander is the best and so kind. I'm surprised not many people come here. The food is absolutely delicious."
"This restaurant is amazing. We had a few well made (strong) drinks in the bar, then walked into the dining area where a nice table with a golf course view awaited us.Within 30 seconds a friendly waiter checked in and told us about the specials. He made sure our water drinks were filled, brought out the fresh baked bread, and asked if he could get anyone anything else (drinks, etc.). My brother-in-law Steve and I ordered the 8 ounce prime rib. When it came, it looked a lot larger than 8 ounces. We were both glad we didn't order the larger size. The quality of the prime rib was first rate. Not very much fat at all, and perfectly cooked. The only downside (and this may just be my personal preference) is that I thought the horseradish sauce could have been hotter. It was just a touch on the mild side. Maybe they can offer a choice between mild and hot when people place a prime rib order? This, however, is not worthy of a star reduction... just a suggestion. My sister-in-law Suzie ordered the boneless beef short ribs. She loved it so much she offered bites to everyone at the table. It was delicious. My nephew ordered fish and chips... he didn't share, but said they were the best he's tasted. My wife had the salmon. It came in a very artful presentation. Onion rings on the top, spinach, etc. First rate all the way. She loved it.Two things really going here are the atmosphere, and the quietness. Looking out onto the golf course was very nice. Lack of noisiness was priceless. So many restaurants these days are LOUD. For me, since I'm a bit older now, it's difficult to hear what people are saying when there is a lot of noise. Several of us mentioned how nice it was. We all could relax and enjoy the experience. One of our friends brought in a home made lemon pie, and Julie (manager) didn't have a problem with our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dessert) - just as long as she and the waitress could have a small slice. Julie was very friendly, and it seems like she's trying very hard to offer a first class dining experience to everyone. If you're planning on doing this, though, I'd suggest that you do what we did - call in advance and ask if it would be okay.If you're in the area, I encourage you to come here for drinks and/or dinner. I think you'll be as impressed as we were. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area."
"Massimo's is a Fremont classic. It's Fremont style fine dining and that's all good, especially for a family celebration. We recently celebrated my mom's 79th birthday with our group of 8 and it was perfect. Reservations are easy to make and modify on open table, which I had to multiple times that day due to changes in plans. Since my mom previously signed up for the birthday club, we used a voucher for a free entree (or take $25 off). Super easy and generous. My mom loved the halibut special and she's picky. The risotto with scallops and sausage is flavorful and rich. It's a must try. The eggplant parmigiana was good and not overly breaded. Cocktails were reasonably priced.I am a Fremont local and appreciate these well established spots. It's a cozy elevated restaurant (mood lighting and linen table cloths), but not stuffy. The bar area is somewhat casual. I have been here in then past for my own birthday dinner, mom's past birthdays, and a casual catch up with a girlfriend dinner. This may just be our go to for family birthdays!"
"A friend has been to telling us about a great Happy Hour at LB Steak and that we need to meet up to try it out. We made it happen on a recent Friday. We arrived at 4:05 and were sat at one of the bar tables. The happy hour is from 4-6pm and is for seating at the bar and the tables in the lounge area. The area was pretty much full already. There's a TV on the bar wall that was on a sports channel. The menu consists of six Bites items, wine (sparking, red, white and rose), rotating beer selection, two mock tails, and four cocktails. I got a beer, and we shared the loaded tater tots and each got the Wagyu burger. The loaded tater tots were topped with bacon bits, chives, and a four cheese béchamel. Good size bowl of tots. The Wagyu burger came with lettuce and tomato with cheese add-ons at $1 and fries and dill pickle wedge. The burger was good with toasted buns, but felt the patty could have been thicker. Our waitress was friendly and food came out in a relatively quick. A good happy hour at City Center San Ramon."
"Sizzling Lunch is conveniently located near our home, and I had often heard about its popularity. However, I hesitated to visit, assuming the vegetarian options would be limited--especially since their website only listed one. But I'm glad we finally gave it a try because I couldn't have been more wrong! The food was flavorful, and there were several vegetarian options to choose from. I started with the Cheese Corn, a skillet of sweet corn topped with a generous amount of melted cheese. It was rich and slightly sweet, but a dash of salt and pepper balanced the flavors nicely.Next, I tried the Potato Croquette with Curry Sauce, served on a sizzling plate with croquettes, rice, and vegetables. The curry was wonderfully spiced and truly elevated the dish. Adding some of their signature sauces took it to the next level. We also ordered the Cucumber Salad, which was refreshing and came with a tangy plum sauce (instead of the usual fish sauce). Other vegetarian items on the menu included Tofu with Curry and Tofu Pepper Rice, both of which I plan to try next time. One thing worth noting is that their website isn't up-to-date, as it doesn't reflect the variety of vegetarian dishes available. The service was exceptional. The staff patiently answered all my questions, walked us through the menu, and ensured we had a great first visit. With delicious food and such attentive service, we'll definitely be returning to Sizzling Lunch!"
"Food is super hearty, only come here on an empty stomach cuz it is heavy!Juicy tacos and loaded fries definitely can't go wrongFeels like a backyard picnic with a pool table and wooden benches, definitely would be an awesome pregame or post-game spotOverall I dig this local business, definitely a go to on a party night"
"Get the surf and turf!! Tender filet mignon and lobster tail, creamy Mac and cheese and well dressed baked potato. Fried calamari was good and wish there was more. Service was prompt and friendly, ambiance is beautiful with a fire pit and water views from a wall of windows. Prices are decent and there's a parking lot but can get full from the ferry goers. If you haven't tried Manny's and appreciate tasty classic affordable American cuisine, you need to dine here!"

I had the calamari and my friend had the sand dabs and they were both delicious. They were fresh and well cooked and the vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. We also ordered the pecan pie for dessert which was delicious and the pot fudge sundae, which was huge and a real treat. Will definitely be back.

With a new baby, my husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary somewhere close by where we didn't have to drive too far away from our little one. We were so glad to learn that there is a cute restaurant in town--perfect for a little date night. Our server was Tom. We appreciated him kindly sharing his impressions of the items on the menu. My husband enjoyed his braised short rib and my salmon filet was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. We also both really liked the Bananas Foster, which we ordered per Tom's recommendation. We look forward to having brunch here next!

We used to be regulars at the previous Paradise Grill, because of the exceptional staff, the lovely feeling of being out in the country (in spite of a 4 minute drive from our suburban house), and the better than average food.But. (There's always a but.) The previous upper management apparently lost interest, we no longer recognized the staff, and the food suffered. And the drinks went WAY up in price. So we quit going.Another but. (A good one!) Julie and Trevor are back, the food is better than ever with a new chef turning out fresher and delicious cuisine, and it's still got that away from the world feeling.Like rediscovering an old friend who has actually improved with age, The Meadows is back. I hope they can keep this level of quality going, because if so, their previous patronage will return. After us, of course.October 3rd, 2015So, we've become regulars again. Even though The Meadow is still open only for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings (hope this changes, would be faboo venue for weekend brunches), we've tried to sample most everything on the menu and the specials as well.So far, so good. All the meals have been well above average restaurant fair, and given the quality and preparation, quite reasonable. Cocktails are tasty and well poured, the wine list isn't extensive but the selections are good. If you want to bring a bottle from home, corkage is $10.Perhaps the most obvious change is the attitude of the staff, they're really working hard to earn back the business. If you haven't been in awhile, check it out.

After attending an event, I decided since I was already in town, I should just stick around for dinner! I grabbed a seat at the bar and as I was trying to figure out how big or small my eyes would be in comparison to the actual space in my tummy, I asked the bartender, Enrique, for his recommendations between a few items.I started off with the roasted beet salad, which was good- but nothing unique of course- so I had to get out of my comfort zone. I'm SLOWLY working my way into red meats that have a little more "moo" (yes... I used to prefer the tough as leather!) :-D So tonight I asked Enrique, between the carpaccio and tartare, as to which he would recommend. He did NOT steer me wrong. For the girl that refuses raw meat and hates capers... that steak tartare was quite easily one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. There was so much flavor packed into the tartare, and perfectly topped with the quail egg. I'm already planning my next trip back with some of my girlfriends. I also enjoyed my cocktail, Heat of the Moment. While I know I'd like to go back and explore more of the menu, I already know future me... I'd be ordering that tartare again! Thank you for the perfect recommendation Enrique!

Love coming here for easy ordering, fast service and good food. I always get the garlic beef pepper rice with extra corn. Sauces are a must when adding flavor, but the consistency isn't as thick as the ones offered at Pepper Lunch so I always have to add extra. Cucumber appetizer was a good palette cleanser. Overall recommend this location.

Turo's Tacos surpassed my expectations for a food truck. It's situated in a parking lot with portable bathrooms, plenty of shade and some entertainment including a pool table and foozball and a video game. We played fooz ball while we waited in the shade. The tacos were delicious, well-seasoned, and good sized and came with salsa on the side. There were more than the usual options for meat. Staff are friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

"One of the few spots in Evergreen that are open late and have DELICIOUS Vietnamese food. Plenty of parking and there's a good liquor store right next to them too! I really enjoy C2 on their menu. C2- Grilled Pork, Grilled Shrimp, Fried Egg 9/10 Despite it not being groundbreaking food, they deliver on simple flavors really well. The pork and shrimp are so good and for a late night meal, I struggle to do better in the vicinity, so I am eating Aota high for this meal, bias is real. They may not be perfect (phone system was broken one time and doordash link was broken too), but the staff are kind and helpful. FYI- their English is a bit limited so please be patient. Inside decor is rather nice and new!"
"S E R V I C E:Parking could be a bit troublesome, but don't forget sat the side of the restaurant there is more parking, just in the dirt. We had a reservation for 5:00, got seated by 5:30, and didn't have a cook in front of us until 7:15. We were starving. Our cook was cool, but I believe they need new "tricks" to show us since I remember seeing the same ones back in 2014. F O O D:I ordered a sushi boat for two, and I was surprised it was meant to be shared - I could have eaten it all by myself! My family enjoyed their meal from the hibachi grill, and the garlic butter they use to cook with everything smells and tasted delicious! O V E R A L L:I honestly don't see myself coming back - the wait was too long for the amount of food."
"Good food the best service would come back again the waiters checked on us at least 20 times making sure everything was right the food wow we ordered the short ribs they were so big we felt like cavemen we did have leftovers they did pack them for us and they wrap the bone for our dogs she wasn't in heaven when we gave it to her at home"
"Came here to celebrate a birthday and what a special experience! We were greeted at the start with a birthday card from Cole's which was a nice touch. Our server was kind and attentive, as well as other staff! We ordered the dry aged porterhouse steak medium rare. The steak had a nice umami and nutty flavor. And paired well with our sides the sautéed mushrooms and lobster Mac and cheese (special side). Both sides were also very delicious!! We also ordered non-alcoholic cocktails which tasted and looked great!Cole's Chop House has an elevated, welcoming atmosphere. I could tell they have many regulars, so that was nice to see. We had a lovely time and a great dinner here!"
"Best restaurant in the San Leandro Marina! The food and service are both amazing! Our server Angela was so sweet and accommodating and knew the menu well to help us make our entree selections. Everything on the menu is solid and delicious! The chefs love to cook and take pride in the dishes they serve. The restaurant reminds you of an old ship and has a cool laidback vibe. It's causal but also nice enough for a special occasion or date night. Perfect for large parties and meetings as well. They have a great happy hour menu from M-F. I have been eating here for a long time and every time I come I leave happy and say why don't I eat here more often! We came to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary and the staff treated us so well. When you go ask for Angela as your server and I know you'll have a wonderful time! "
"We looked for Steakhouse to celebrate our10 year anniversary, and did not choose wrong. I had the Rack of Lambs, my wife had the Surf and Turf, and were speechless of how wonderful the food was. The service was great, the wait staff was very hospitable. Especially the Manager (I can't remember his name) had a great story to share about "living with his wife...". Thanks Cordeiros for the special night."
"Amazing food. Great service. Josh was fabulous! Fabulous drinks. Love the Napa history decor. Must go to! We will be back!Favorites: Vegetable Wellington, grilled salmon, short rib and the clam chowder!!"
"This place is a solid 4 stars. Will definitely recommend. Our go-to pho spot is pho craze in Pinole but we're always down to try something new. We've eaten here twice so far. We've had the brisket pho, chicken pho, spring rolls, egg rolls, Thai tea, and fried rice. The pho is solid. Nice flavor, meat wasn't tough, decent size. Egg rolls were good as well. Spring rolls and their peanut sauce is must get. One draw back...they're a smaller restaurant than pho craze so I'm sure they don't make them ahead of time which means. With that said, it took a minute for the spring rolls to get to the table. They actually came last, after the pho. I'm not too mad at that since I don't care when I eat my spring rolls. Peanut sauce was on point. Warm, not watery. The slice jalapeño was a nice tough to the peanut sauce. Spring rolls actually tasted as fresh as they were too. The fried rice was okay. Kind of misleading from the yelp pics bc it shows shrimp and there wasn't a shrimp option on the menu. Thai was nice and flavorful. A little sad that some items were available but it looks like they might have been when they first opened: a couple of soups and beef ribs add on for the pho. I love me some beef ribs with my pho. Overall, good experience. The lady and maybe her ..mom? Seem really nice. Will go back againWould've given a 5th star if not for the speed of service and misrepresented pics."
"We had a party of 16 and had a very enjoyable dinner. Last minute we decide to try and find a restaurant in Livermore that would accommodate the size of our group. Luckily we found Kobe and were able to make reservations. The seating is interesting. The "booth" type chairs are high and easily moveable. When grouped together, it makes the area pretty private., The server and bussers were attentive and pleasant. They have an extensive menu and the pricing seemed reasonable. Several people in the groups had sushi and said it was good. The Shrimp Tempura was perfect, very tasty. I had the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen Soup and loved it. The broth had a good kick of spicy but not overpowering. It was a large portion and I ended up taking half of it to go. My brother ordered the Sautéed Garlic Beef Udon, thinking it was a soup, as did I, since I almost ordered the same. It was actually a noodle dish which he said was good. I like the way the Bento Box is ordered. You select from various categories, such as starter, rolls, katsu, teriyaki, etc. You make 3 selections and price varies on the item. Depending on selection, I felt it was a little overpriced for Bento Box portions but several in the group said the food was delicious so sounds probably worth it. It was the perfect spot for a large family dinner and we are happy we found it. We all agreed we will be back."
"Living in Oakland, there is definitely plenty of taco spots to try. We finally go to try this place for TJ style tacos. Previous Tacos Mi Reynita was located across the street so now there's less competition for this corner. They are located in a parking lot of what looks like an condemned commercial building. Parking is either on the street or what you can find in the small alcove. When you arrive you can smell the amazing meats. It's great they appears to have handmade tortillas. We tried the al pastor, tongue and cabeza tacos with pineapple aqua fresca. There's dining tables to enjoy, which is what we wanted to enjoy the tacos freshly made. There's a self serve salsa bar along with grilled onions and jalapenos - these simple offerings are so hard to come by these days. Their salsas are fire! So tasty! Overall the tacos were delicious for TJ style tacos. $2 extra for tongue is quite high but I really can't complain with inflation these days. We'll definitely be back. They accept zelle as payment."
"The first thing I noticed was that the restaurant was in an out-of-the-way place near some docks where I had never ventured before. Not conducive to a spur-of-the-moment, hey, let's stop there. I never knew this was there. (No points against them, I just thought I would mention it. We also found a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge near the restaurant.) We showed up early but had to wait as they did not have enough staff and they timed it for our reservation slot. Totally fair.We went to the bar and I ordered a Mai Tai. I have not had one in years and it was really good. The interior is looking outdated but I was there for the food. We were seated a the cooking table and noticed a table next to us with very little interaction from the guests. After they had completed their meal, the chef left and returned a short time later to our table. We were a party of four and there was another party of four at the table as well. Both groups were into the entire presentation and cooking and had a great time. Some people at the table were not fans of Teriyaki but he had them try his teriyaki he made at the table. Both individuals ended up being fans. The food was good and the rice I loved. The steak was a little dry but I had it with the Teriyaki sauce and it made a difference. I also had the chicken and it was tasty as well. If I was in the area again, I would stop by and have a bite. It was a fun experience with the preparation of the food and really, that's why I go to these types of restaurants as it is unique."
"My GFs and I picked this place to celebrate a couple birthdays on a Saturday afternoon. We had a reservation and it wasn't busy at all. I had the pork chop dish and chose to have it grilled in the kitchen versus cooking it on the stone. My GFs both ordered the skirt steak with one ordered on the stone. We were all very pleased with our dishes. My pork chop was flavorful and juicy. I'd chosen the roasted vegetables and the loaded baked potato as my sides. They were both delicious.I would definitely come back!"
"We have eaten here twice and both times the food has been fire. It's kind of a gem hidden away. Who would think you could pull up to a drive-thru taqueria and order Habachi style food. The first time we ordered the "EZ trio" and it came with steak, chicken, and shrimp, with of course the rice and veggies. Definitely enough to feed 2 comfortably. The second time we ordered the "EZ choice" (pictured) which came with steak, shrimp, and lobster with rice and veggies. Again, could feed two for sure. The food is poppin' with flavor and the service is quick. You roll up, order, and they tell you to park. Twenty minutes and you've got Nijo Castle or Benihana style habachi. The prices are a little high but you get what you pay for, and equivalent to what you'd pay at the aforementioned high end habachi spots. I forgot to mention, the second time we ordered online from their website and picked it up. There were no snags. No complaints. Will be coming back, that's 2 more than 98!!"
"Despite the mixed reviews, my boyfriend and I really wanted to check this place out and we came prepared knowing that the service could be hit or miss. First impression ... you walk in and immediately see the half circle bar and a wall lined with couches. A cute and vibey area to wait before being seated - they also had a DJ the Friday night we went. Despite having a reservation we had to wait a good 15-20 minutes to get seated. Once seated at the table, I was surprised that the menus looked like a school craft project ... scalloped edges made by those craft scissors ... laminated ... and strangely small. It looked like a dessert menu or an after thought. Service was surprisingly reasonable - food didn't take long at all. But looking at other pictures on yelp, their portions and plating are WILDLY inconsistent. We ordered the steak, Brussel sprouts, surf n turf Mac n cheese, 2 glasses of wine and cheesecake dessert. There wasn't anything to really brag about. Not the best, but definitely not the worst either. Steak was perfectly cooked, my boyfriend really liked the Mac. I wish the Brussel sprouts were on a plate and not a bowl because they eventually lost their crispy fry and became soggy. If I were to come back I'd likely go to the bar with my girls or come after work for a night cap. I say check them out at least once. Show this local business some love. They definitely have some kinks to work out and once they do ... this place has so much potential!"
