The veggies here were fresh and staff were frequently refilling ingredients too. It gets pretty busy around 6:30 PM, especially for takeout orders. This is a fun and customizable experience that I would recommend to anyone."

"King Kong BBQ Restaurant serves up authentic Chinese foods that are delicious and in good portions. Strong points include: good food, good portions, and they do their own deliveries. I can't find anything negative to say about my experience. On a Saturday, I ordered Wor Won Ton Soup, Fried Prawns, and Mu Shu Pork. Good Food, Grade (5/5). I'm 3rd Generation ABC, and this food is the way traditional chinese food is supposed to taste! The Wor Won Soup was excellent with plump dumplings, bok choy, bbq pork strips and tender chicken. The Fried Prawns were plump and moist. The Mu Shu Pork was a generous serving, seasoned well and not salty. Another key point is the prices are reasonable. The Wor Won Ton Soup is under $10, and that container was packed. I scheduled this delivery thru GrubHub. Since the restaurant does it's own delivery, there's no extra delivery fees. I setup my delivery for 4pm, and it arrived early. Good food, and I will order again!"

We were actually thinking of eating at JB King in the food court, but they were closed! And this restaurant is right at the front door of this food court mall. It's pretty spacious and at the time we got there, there were tables available. We haven't had dim sum in ages, so it was a treat for us! Service was quick and tea pot was brought to us as soon as you tell them which tea you'd like. **OUR PICKS**BEEF CILANTRO RICE CREPES ~ we enjoyed these! The meat was spread thinly on the crepe and it was possibly minced or puréed like a paste before cooking. It gave it a soft texture with every bite. Flavor was good too! 5/5PORK SHUMAI ~ these were good as any other tea house. Juicy, flavorful and decent size dumplings. 4/5SHRIMP DUMPLINGS (Ha Gow) ~ I liked these! Big shrimp in each dumpling and tasty! 5/5CHICKEN FEET ~ always really tasty and somewhat spicy at most tea houses and these were on point! 5/5CRISPY SHRIMP CREPE ~ these were memorable! The inside had deep fried shrimp in a light batter that stayed crispy even wrapped around the rice crepe! 5/5EGG CUSTARD BUNS ~ I love custard buns and egg tarts but chose the buns because the menu showed them as cute pigs (purple, yellow, pink!) but when I got them, they were weird looking pandas. What disappointed me more was the hard black eyes, ears and noses. It throws off the softness of the bun. Best to take them off before eating! Inside was a good custard filling. But if I ever come back, I'd choose the egg tarts over the buns! 3/5COCONUT CAKE (jello) ~ perfect ending to our meal! I remember eating this years ago in tea houses and it had the same texture and taste! Very nostalgic for us! 5/5All in all, we enjoyed their food. It's a bit pricey, but nowadays, most dim sum is on the pricier end for lunch. They add a 15% service fee so tip is included. They circled this on the bill so you see this charge. Roughly $35/pp."

The honey walnut prawns sauce wasn't as smooth & thin as it should be but the flavor was fine. I only ate one salt & pepper pork chop. My family demolished it and they loved it. Peking duck was perfect today, a little fatty, a little thin, buns were warmed, meat on some of the bones. The housin sauce & greens were good. I was very happy with this meal. We also went for dim sum. We arrived about noon on a Thursday. It was not super full. We marked our choices and they took about 15 minutes to come out. It was much fresher on this trip. I would come again."

I ate the Molcajete with the tostadas side that came with the order and with the white steam rice from home. It was actually even better with the white steam rice. Justin Bieber, Serena Williams, Jeremy Lin, The Bush family, also apparently Margaret Thatcher ate here (damn, she ate this food and still managed to destroy UK's industry? hey-ooo)I was afraid that this restaurant was going to be too westernized, but I think they do a good job of striking a balance between western and Chinese authentic taste.Most of the food was delicious, though the Mongolian Beef didn't taste that great. That's usually one of my go-tos when trying to determine a Chinese restaurant's chops.Parking can be challenging though they have additional parking at a private lot down the neighborhood road and is a mild walk to and from the restaurant.It's a 3.5 but rounded down for me, the service was kinda meh and all the seating arrangements were very tight and crammed."

"Darda Seafood is hands down one of the best spots for flavorful Chinese and hala cuisine in the Bay Area. Every time I come here, I know I'm getting bold flavors, generous portions, and consistently good food. Some of my go-to dishes are the cumin lamb, which is perfectly seasoned and packed with spice, the walnut shrimp that's crispy, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet, and the hot & sour soup that's always on point--tangy, spicy, and comforting. The sautéed green beans are a simple but solid side, and the salt & pepper fish is light, crispy, and full of flavor.Beyond my favorites, I've seen a lot of love for the orange chicken, and even the complimentary Chinese tea gets a mention in reviews. The food is always solid, but the service can be hit or miss--it's fast and efficient, but don't expect a ton of warmth. The place gets busy, so timing your visit can make a difference. They accommodated us without issue. To me the bar side is warmer in atmosphere and the Warriors were on the television. Thank you for that.Our server was attentive, friendly and had a great sense of humor. Our first surprise since our last visit, was the bread. Previously it was unappealing plain white bread, but now it is a very nice sourdough. It would have been even better warmed. We then ordered Clam Strips and Clam Chowder as appetizers. They were also much better than our last visit. While really good, the chowder needed more seasoning. We all hit it with S&P and it was great! One of my favorite appetizers was the crab cakes, If I have know they were that good, I would have ordered them as my entree'.We then ordered salad with our entree's. It was fresh and a nice companion to the main dish. I had the Cajun Scallop & Shrimp saute' and enjoyed every bite. My wife had the grilled prawns with garlic butter, also really good. And last, my son ordered the muscles. He said the muscles were good, but that he expected them in a cream sauce, whereas, the sauce was more of a light broth that needed to be doctored. That aside, a very nice dinner was enjoyed by us all. We will definitely be back!"

The parking siutation here is horrible especially during peak eating times. But it's a spacious restaurant. Just be forewarned, you will smell like food. M E N UMenu hasn't changed in the years but of course the prices have. Darn inflation. The food quality seems to go up and down. Compared to the last time we had seafood pancake here, it seems like we're back on the up.I don't think you can go wrong here, everything is really good. The ban chan also the most diverse I've seen though I wish they had jap chae as a ban chan. The dumpling tofu soup was delicious especially on a cold day. Definitely cleans up your sinuses. The spicy pork was the right amount of spicy and I did appreciate that the pieces were minced as I have issues chewing these days. The LA Galbi was fine. I didn't concentrate on eating that as we were more focused on the more spicy items as our other family members don't particularly like spicy foods.S E R V I C EService was good. Though we did end up having to ask about our Seafood pancake as we were eating everything else that was ordered and it was yet to come. I guess it takes a bit of time. I do wish they had more napkins on the table outside of the one they give you. I guess we could ask for more which we did and they did give it to us. Because the bus leaves so early, we are always on the hunt for an early spot we can have a pre-game and a solid breakfast. Sardine Can never disappoints. There's seating inside that is bar style and a large outdoor patio in the back (highly recommend this seating). It's nestled away from the busy street traffic and feels really intimate in a busy side of town. The staff were really polite, informative and kept our dishes coming out in a timely manner. I have only ever tried local oysters so our waitress did a great job answering our questions all throughout our service. We ordered:- Ceviche- 4/5. I really liked the freshness of the seafood in this. I would've enjoyed more acidity and heat from the jalapeños on this just that is just a personal preference. - Rockefeller Broiled Oysters- 5/5. I really enjoyed this as a single bite. I've never had an oyster served broiled style so this was an absolute treat. It's creamy, it pairs well with the breadcrumbs topping. I'd order these again.Full Dozen Day's Selection- 4/5. We ordered six New Brunswick and six Tómales Bay sourced oysters. I was most impressed with the New Brunswick (Canadian) oysters. Some of the most creamy oysters I've had. Paired with hot sauce and the mignonette, it was the perfect bite. In general, I was expecting larger oysters for the raw servings but this might be influenced by timing of season, etc I would recommend ending with the New Brunswick oysters! The interior is bright and beautiful juxtaposed against the blight of the adjacent streets. Kevin closes at 7pm so you can eat and get out of the area early.The Pho's are still tasty with a good soup base, I like the Large number 1 of brisket, flank, tendon, and tripe. The fried egg rolls are also decent although it has imitation crab meat as one of the ingredients.Good place to go if you're in a rush and looking for a bright clean establishment with a parking lot."

This was a fantastic surprise because I went by her place moons ago and found the door ajar and no signs of even a morsel. When I pulled the door to I figured it would be my final connection, but thankfully Ms. Genny is feeling better and is dedicated to her business (during a pandemic no less). Quite honestly I have been avoiding interactions during the twin-demic to a near pathological level (lol), but under these circumstances I had to make an exception. As soon as she opened (she's closed on Wednesdays) I called in an order of ribs and links with sides of potato salad and macaroni and cheese. We had plenty of everything and I felt like it was the best exception to my rule. Here's what you need to know:--Call ahead to check the menu and place your order. --For social distancing wear your mask and be prepared to stand at the front door to pay and pick up. --Bring cash only, I'm sure smaller bills would be appreciated. --Things are well wrapped but consider bringing your own container to carry your BBQ home. --There's nowhere to sit, all of the food is to go. --Provide your own utensils and napkins --Tip, tip, tip (I never suggest this, but this is a special time and set of circumstances)"

I did note that they closed at 9 and we did not get there until after 8 so, we were still eating after they were trying to close. They were gracious and patient and never said anything that made us feel rushed, although, they did start putting chairs up on vacated tables while guests still ate. That made me try to hurry up. I left my sweater in the restaurant and the hostess ran after me (I was a block away) to give it to me. The great attitudes and service were exceptional!"

"Tastee Steam Kitchen is a "tastee" one-stop-shop for steamed or cajun-style seafood, hot pot, skewers, dim sum, and sushi. I most often get the mini hot pot or AYCE hot pot and would recommend both. For the mini hot pots, the Szechuan Spicy Pot is my favorite, with plentiful pieces of fish and beef swimming in a spicy soup. The Satay Beef Pot has a garlicky and sweet broth and is good as well, although I don't care for the grainy taro.For AYCE, I would recommend the Hot & Spicy and Herbal Chicken soup bases. They're flavorful enough such that you really don't need a sauce, but I do appreciate their expansive sauce bar. The meat quality is decent, and while I do like the fatty melt-in-your-mouth prime beef, my favorite is the sole fillet with its buttery texture. The skewers here are also good enough to satisfy a craving. The chicken, beef, and lamb skewers were generally well-cooked and juicy, but I left wanting a bit more spice and char flavor. The restaurant's interior is quite large and surprisingly well-decorated, so it makes for a nicer, quieter spot in Chinatown to bring family / guests or even catch a game on their TVs. I do think they are understaffed at times, so you may need to proactively flag down waiters. Finally, be sure to check the signage and menus for their monthly food and drink specials!"
