We were seated immediately and brought menus and water with lemon (no ice - not our specific request, but how they do things I guess). We started with baba ganoush and pita bread (delicious)! They started with four slices of pita bread and then refilled with two more slices and that was more than enough bread, truly.I got a grilled entree of lamb and beef kebabs with yellow rice and bread (you can do white rice and salad, too). The meat was medium rare as I requested and just perfect. My husband got the Tepsi with kofta and that was even better, haha. I think I'd get the Tepsi next time, too. We definitely plan on coming back and want to try their falafel, hummus, wraps, and dessert."

"Mary and I met here for lunch today. I know Alan and I had eaten here several times since 2017 but I can't remember when I last ate in since 2020. I've done takeout several times since the start of the pandemic. The décor has changed, The collection of smaller photographs has been replaced by two large ones. I didn't recognize our server, but he was warm and friendly. I left home later than I had planned so I texted Mary that I was running late. I found parking right in front and walked in. Mary was seated against the east wall on the banquette and had already ordered a falafel wrap, as she didn't know how late I would be. She had water to drink. I ordered a small gyro and some of their delicious tea. I had thought about getting a cup of their avgelemono soup but wasn't that hungry.I sat down on the chair opposite Mary, who had received her falafel wrap. We had a good time talking and catching up and soon my gyro and tea were delivered. Mary had torn hers in half, intending to take one half home. We took turns talking so the one listening could eat, which worked out well. My gyro was delicious, as was the tea. As we talked Mary gradually ate the rest of her wrap and soon she had nothing to take home. There was never a question of leftovers for me, as this was my first meal of the day. I finished it all. Our server refilled my tea when he refilled Mary's water. When I needed to go to the bathroom I had trouble getting up because we had been sitting so long. I tried, but couldn't do it. Our server (I wish I had asked his name!) came over and asked if I needed help. I was about to reluctantly say yes when Mary said yes on my behalf and I assented, so he helped me up and my knees unlocked. I walked over to the restroom, leaving my credit card so we could pay. There was lovely tile around the bathroom walls that I don't remember from before, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there, as it's been a while. When I returned our server came over w/ the handheld point of sale device. As I paid Mary engaged him in conversation, asking if he was Iranian, volunteering that she was half Iranian. He said no, but close, that he was Jordanian, and that led to a lovely conversation about her visit w/ her late husband to Jordan and other Middle Eastern countries several decades ago and the differences in Jordan between then and now. What a pleasure to eavesdrop on it!"

"I ordered on Snackpass since there was a 20% off for first order discount. I got a falafel deluxe wrap, which was ready pretty quickly after I ordered which was on Sunday around lunchtime. Although it didn't stand out as spectacular or unique, there was a decent amount of falafel and overall with the discount, the portion was good for the price. They are a solid choice for Mediterranean food if you are near UC Berkeley campus, it's right next door to the Durant food court. They don't have outdoor seating but you can walk to nearby places like the Durant food court or campus to sit down and eat outdoors."

She had their beef brisket sandwich that looked very good. The rice was spiced strongly - it tasted good and went great with the food, but once I'd finished the protein and lettuce I couldn't eat the rice by itself - it needed something blander to balance it out. The bowl starts with a base, three scoops of hummus, protein, unlimited sides of veggies and finally the dressing. My bowl was filled with Mediterranean couscous, spinach, three hummus, four falafel, veggies and traditional tahini dressing. I also added two dolmaes (additional $1.00) Make it to go, please. Cost with tax and tip included was $18.Menu is posted on the window before going in to the business. Laminated menus are available at the counter to review. There is also a menu board on the wall.I was excited to get the bowl with falafel that I forgot to ask for beets. Okay a return trip is necessary to get their strawberry lychee beverage and another bowl. What I ate was so delicious that I almost forgot to take a photo. (Senior moment. The food is okay and the price reflects the convenience factor.The menu has a lot of this and that: falafels, salad bowls, burritos, burgers, and more. They could probably look at their sales and costs and cut down the menu by 25% in order to focus their strengths. The lentil soup is good and feels nourishing when you are almost under the weather. I order the falafel about once a month and always regret it because it is too much food, messy, and the lavash is often cold. But I keep getting it because the taste is good, and you can order it with harissa. This is a fine place to have at the bottom of an office tower. There is room for improvement, but it meets the needs of convenience for nearby office workers."

I ordered:- Loaded Steak Gyro- Simple Greek Salad- FriesOkay, so the thick fries sort of survived delivery. Grade (3/5), $5.99I like the Simple Greek Salad, Grade (5/5). Fresh, crunchy, and a refreshing flavor. The menu reads: "Cherry tomatoes, cucumber, pickled red onion, feta, and herbs tossed in house vinaigrette." Very good small salad. Price $6.99.Loaded Steak Gyro, Grade (4/5): This is a hefty beef gyro. Menu reads: "Tender harissa-garlic marinated Angus beef. Comes with fries, cucumber, cherry tomato, pickled red onion, feta cheese, and tzatziki in a warm pita."Okay, this is a big gyro, but I don't like how it's stuffed with fries. French fries have a short holding time, and then they get soft and soggy. I ended up picking them out. Otherwise, it's a good sandwich. Loaded with meat, cheese and creamy tzatziki. Price: $16.99Would I order again? Yes, - but don't order fries again."

Now, I'm alittle sad, how the service changed, the new servers are not as welcoming or pleasant anymore.. I didn't get that feeling of family welcome... I remember how old times, servers here used to talk to you and make you feel home and make you feel the dinner they served you is the same food you get at home. But, it's the food that matters most, maybe next time I'll just get a take out."
