"Me & my friends first time here n Molly was such a nice bartender wit awesome customer service skills she such a sweetheart she even gave me n my girls sum bunny ears don't walk here run"
"Me doing a check-in... replies to my check-in:*WTF are you doing there?*You trying to pick up on parolees?Ok, so I wouldn't go walkin into Dings by myself. They recently went and got a shiny new re-model. So, don't go trying to enter through the back door anymore - it's closed and now part of the extended bar. It's a bit brighter and lighter, but it's basically the same ol' Dings. Cute bartender (even though he's an A's fan) and full of characters... and, it's pretty much the only "decent" place in the area to get your crunk on."

"friends and I were walking by heard the music spoke to the security very welcoming invited us to go in have a drink. staff was great and they had a delicious food vendor outside. free entry definitely a place to go hangout with friends and good drinks"
"Awe yes, this place was the beginning of a wild night and a VERY rough Friday, ha! Here we go.We had started the night off at a different dive bar. Can't remember the name and it's not just because I was wasted, but that definitely ain't helping the situation! Anyway, got a pitcher there, chilled, moved on to good ol' Hyde Park Lounge.Grabbed another pitcher, Elysian Spacedust (not coke) probably. We're in the back on the patio, just me'n'mah boi hanging out. Funny enough, we saw several people this bar who migrated from the same bar that we just came from. One of the gentleman and my friend hit it off, and as we're hanging out in the back, I see the bar lady bringing a pitcher out toward us. No one's out there, just us, and I freaking IMMEDIATELY knew that dude was gonna be the death of us. So now we're 3 pitchers of Spacedust in and things are getting fuzzy. Then the shots start rolling in. Oh Jame-O, you dirty dingo. Well, that's pretty much when things started getting real blurry and funny stories were to be told come the morning, along with the pounding headache. Lovely.Anyway, it's a dive bar, bruh, if you have high expectations, maybe you oughtta stick to your bougie places cuz this ain't one of 'em! Awesome people, though, if you have an open mind.So let's get it, baby! Next round's on me ^_____^"
"It was a different ambience with a show going on while we are having dinner. I order spaghetti meatballs with garlic bread and it was just OK. I think the price is a little bit expensive."
"Went for an evening with friends to hangout and play games. Had the famous Eli's lemon pepper signature wings with handmade ranch. Meet the owner she was super sweet and did an amazing job remodeling the place. Definitely recommend for date night or girls night!"
"It's almost been a month since I've been married so this review is long overdue. My husband and I got married on Thursday in Vallejo, and our wedding had to end at 9 pm due to city restrictions. We all wanted to continue the party and us not being from the area, didn't know where to go. Thankfully, one of our friends had done some research on Yelp and suggested that we go to this spot...AND it was the best decision ever! We took an Uber (drink responsibly friends) and was dropped off at front where the parking lot was. Not going to lie, it looked a bit sketch, but hey, we were with a large group and my friend does BJJ so I was feeling okay about it. We step foot inside and it was incredibly spacious. Full on bar, pool table, highboys, and a barber chair in the back. Come to find out this is a barbershop x bar and what an excellent combo. Chop it up (hair and convo) while enjoying a drink. That's pure genius. What I especially love about this place is the hospitality. Scratch the fact that I got married and the perks that come with it, but everyone was so incredibly nice. A genuine nice. Also, Mo is by far the sweetest bartender! It's evident how much she loves her job, how much she cares for the people and the community. Do yourself a favor and try her homemade pickle juice! My friends and I all had a great time. Thank you H Lounge and Mo for the hospitality!"
"Nicole and Tanya are the best!! Such an amazing neighborhood bar. Classy and yet familiar!!"
"Fantastic experience at Martuni's! The energy is so high here; it's really nice seeing a thriving business in the midst of the city slow-down. I can definitely see why it's doing so well too--the drinks are fantastic here and the decor is super cute. It has a vibe to it that's hard to explain, like old-school cool. We got lucky and found two seats at the bar, but large groups may have issues.I got the French 75 and it was well-balanced and easy to drink. I was surprised how strong it actually was though. I definitely noticed it when I got up! Haha. They gave us popcorn to snack on and never rushed us out. Everyone was friendly even though it was busy, and I felt comfortable in the space. I'm planning to come back on a performance night to really experience martuni's!"
"Two of my sisters and I dined here yesterday for a birthday lunch. I always order the same menu item, ma po tofu over steamed rice. Other items ordered were fried chicken bento box, pork belly bento box, fried green beans and beef tongue. The beef tongue is good, but the beef tendon is better. We do miss Jessica who was our server in the past. It is taking us time to get used to the new server. He is okay. Conversation is in Mandarin, which I don't speak much of in that dialect.Since we come here quite often when we get together for lunch in Oakland Chinatown, I have decided to raise the restaurant to a five star.Definitely there will be more visits to Lounge Chinatown in the future."
"The town of Martinez laid claim to be the birthplace of the martini sometime around the Civil War. I think people argue who exactly invented the classic cocktail and where and whether the name is truly a derivation of the town's name. Well, it certainly makes for good chatter over a martini. This spot is as good as any to get a fine martini.I have yet to patronize the refurbished storage container where they serve cocktails during warm weather on the back terrace. Instead I've taken advantage of the bar lounge they set up on the mezzanine level of the Market & Main food court building. They have a full bar set up with plenty of seating and a vintage movie playing on a big screen.I love Carole Lombard, so I was thrilled to watch "To Be or Not To Be" (photo: https://yelp.to/ZWVPiE_dGp), while sipping quite a refreshing $16 Espresso Martini (photo: https://yelp.to/NbUiw6YhVX). OK, maybe I had two. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the nuances of a classic martini. It's only been open since last year, so this isn't where the martini began. The search continues.COCKTAILS - 4 stars...a smooth and tantalizing espresso martiniAMBIANCE - 4 stars...the upstairs lounge works for meSERVICE - 4 stars...professional and personableTOTAL - 4 stars...it may not be the birthplace but they make good onesRELATED - Exploring this part of Contra Costa County? "If you are still contemplating, this is your sign to book and come through! I had the best experience booking and hosting my partner's 30th birthday party with about 35 guests altogether. The guests loved the food, drinks, music, and vibes!! Will definitely come by again soon. CHOOSING EXECUTIVE ORDER: One month prior to the event, I was searching for a venue that suited our needs for food, drinks, music, vibe, and pricing. I had been researching 20+ places including Executive Order. Once I heard back from them with the details and options for my event, I knew they were the one! I had specific requirements that I wanted for this event and the owner was extremely helpful, open, and responsive to all of my inquiries. There was never a moment of uncertainty since they presented me with so many options for food /catering and beverages for that night that were clearly outlined in our email communications. Expectations could not have been clearer. AN UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT: From the initial event booking inquiry until even an hour after our space rental had ended, the staff were the most kind and attentive to our large group. The staff went above and beyond in checking in with me upon arrival one hour before our event and until one hour after the event. They had the space prepared for me more than one hour in advance and helped me setup! Truly grateful for their compassion and willingness to go above what was asked of them for that night. As the night began and guests arrived, they kept me updated with the status of the food coming out and the drink tab. They even helped me coordinate shots around the room to make a toast, light the birthday cake, and cut the beat for the music for us to sing happy birthday. A CLOSER LOOK INTO FOOD, DRINKS, MUSIC:FOOD: The food/catering was too easy to do - it is an excel sheet / google sheets! I strongly recommend the duck fat fries, buffalo wings, and sliders (turkey or chicken). All of it was a HIT. Guests ate it up and came asking me for more! DRINKS: The choice to opt into a pre-paid open bar was a no-brainer. All the guests had a great time ordering to their hearts desires and the bartenders were amazing in receiving all the guests and creating the drinks. Even though shots were the most popular, a few of the guests chose something off their drink menu which they told me was delicious as well. MUSIC: On the night of our event, there was a live DJ playing 90s hip-hop and R&B. The vibe was perfect for the scenery and the DJ was super supportive of our large group - taking requests and coordinating fade outs for us to have a celebratory moment filled with speeches, singing happy birthday, and cake blowing. And once our moment concluded, he played us out with a birthday banger, never missing a beat! Special thanks to John Eric, Dave, T, Ryan, DJ Mark, and the rest of the staff who made that a night to remember! I could not imagine the night going more smoothly."

So this place is a little hidden gem In the Jack London area! Such a great staff and so friendly! The bartender was so sweet and you can tell he makes his drinks with pride! This was my husbands and I first time visiting this place! They had been shut down for Covid for a year and a half!! Poor little bar has only been here for a total of 2 years so literally right after Covid began they had to shut down! Now they just re-opened only 3 months ago maybe 4 they said and I'm so happy they are back in business! Honestly it's a place to visit especially if your looking for a pre or post dinner drink! Come check this place out! You will not be disappointed! Only thing is you must show proof of vaccination to come inside! So just be prepared if you do decide to drop by! Enjoy!

I was looking for a place for valentine's day that has live music and would be family friendly, and i found WiseGirl. They accept reservations which was great. I was told we will be in the music hall. Feb 14 and the area was starting to get packed. we were directed to the music hall where the live band was setting up. There were maybe 7 big tables and we were seated with a different party on the same table. Food- I ordered prime rib and I had it medium. my wife ordered their special-lobster ravioli. Food was served within 10minutes. it was a little dark in the room but mine looked like was well done. I confirmed with when i started slicing a piece and felt how tough and dry it was. I ended up not eating half of it. Even my server agreed that it looked like it was cooked well done.My wife said her ravioli was good. Serving size is pretty good. The value for money in terms of the food is great.Service- i like our server. she always had a smile on her face and can be seen interacting with guests. parking - the place is situated in a complex with different restaurants which share a common parking lot. i had to drive three times before finding a spot.music- the band which performed was good. you can tell that guests were enjoying the music.sorry, i didnt have the chance to take pictures.

"This review is solely based on the beef patties. They're so good I dream about them. I don't know what their secret is but their dough is super flaky. The filling is generous and really good! I actually ordered one to split with my boyfriend and that was a huge mistake. We ended up ordering several more. I've been here before, but whoever was working behind the bar today had exceptional customer service. I asked for a side of their orange pepper sauce which is amazing on the beef patties. I came back a second time and she remembered I like the orange sauce with it and packed it with my Togo order."
"Only a handful of bars are open so this one gets packed full of regulars fast. Very friendly people, great drinks, and some pool tables. Small space so find your spot fast and keep it lol."
"Great wine and servers. We had a fabulous time here. Highly recommend if you are in the area!"
"We went here for a Thursday Night Football game. First, I was happy there were plenty of 49ers fans. That's enough for 2 stars out of the gate. LolIt's not a big sports bar. It seemed to be more a local spot - comfortable, cozy, and relaxing. It could use an update in the furniture and A/V equipment, but we had a good time nonetheless. The bar area was a little crowded, and it took a while to get our drinks. But, the bartenders and wait staff were friendly and patient. The wings were good. I only wish people cooked them longer. They weren't raw, but I like mine more well done and wasn't around when we ordered. My bad !!! This is definitely a spot I would recommend and return to. My next visit, though, would be a normal Friday or Saturday night. It, maybe a Sunday to see how they handle games then. Until next time ......"
"My husband and I came out to party in the city. The vibe was awesome, music was good and drinks were good too. I love the ambiance and the bathroom is nice with chairs and mirrors. Service was great and they had a surprise samba dancers at midnight. Will def come again."
"This place is one of a kind, from the drinks to the decor. Their tagline is "Lower Haight's Most Unusual Bar" and they MEAN it (in the best way). I recommend giving their speciality drinks a try, like the "Snake Bite" (a half mix of Pilsner and cider - don't "noc" it til you try it lol). But seriously, great place to catch up with friends without the messy large crowds of other bars. Maybe it's because the hardest thing they serve here is sake so people aren't as rowdy; regardless, highly recommend!"
"Be sure to have breakfast there. Wonderful omelets and a fantastic Bloody Mary to get the day started!!"
"Came on a rainy chilly night after near by dinner. What a chill vibe. Low light chandeliers, candles on top of cherry wood tables and intimate tables for 2. Lots to look at in case your date is a bore. Fantastic drinks and enjoyed sitting at the bar since it was a full house. Make a ressie if coming! Speakeasy vibes located at the end of a random street, east to kiss u less you know"
"Came here for the atmosphere - am not a big drinker, but friends are. They leave the menus with you when you sit, but you must order drinks and pay at the register. There are no food items/snacks here.I just had a nice ginger beer, which I sipped while lounging on their super comfortable couch. The music was outstanding (such a mood) and the sound quality was definitely top notch. I don't ever remember being in any bar and being able to hear friends so clearly AND also hear the music so clearly. They really set up the space well - no negatives from me."
"It's just ok for the price and there are better options nearby. Menu has lots of heavy food like sandwiches, sausages, and fries. But it's $20+, very greasy, and something I could've made better myself in 5 minutes in my kitchen. The vibe is very heavy, dark, and masculine. Kind of like a den. The staff doesn't pay attention and isn't too welcoming. It's just ok."
"Just a warning that I was roofied here Friday night. Of course this can happen anywhere, and I'm not blaming the bar for this whatsoever, but watch your drinks and be careful. I'm generally careful, but the place was extremely packed so I must've missed it. I can't find a manager's email, but if you're seeing this, check camera footage for Friday night between 11pm-1am, so you can avoid letting in people that drug other patron's drinks"
"After a hearty meal at DeVaughn's, we asked for a recommendation to lounge. Glad we were introduced to Charles at Laurel! For health and safety, they have an outdoor seating area, adequately spaced apart from other tables. The ground is appropriately covered, decorated with plants, and properly sheltered. Signage clearly states that you must order food with a beverage so Lisa got us the brisket fries. Paired nicely with the celebratory beverage that Charles made for us. #ThankYou Charles and have a great weekend!"
"Nice hotel lobby spot for morning coffee and meetings. Sort of odd to call this out specifically but the overnight oats with fresh fruit were beyond fantastic in my opinion. Looking forward to staying at the Kissel next time I'm visiting Oakland."
"Date: Friday, November 22nd, 2024Time: around 10:45pmParty of: 2What: After Dinner Drinks*The Captain ($17)*Monk Pig ($17)*Mocktail ($13)I adore speakeasies. Partly cuz I'm old and I like the chill vibe. After dinner nearby, a friend and I decided to check out Bling Pig. We found the password on IG, so it was easy to get in. It was raining that night, so not too busy. We easily grabbed two seats at the bar.I'm a whisky girl, so I started with the captain (duck fat washed) - highland park whiskey, barcardi 8y, fig, black sesame, vermouth, cynar, manzanilla, bitters. I wasn't sure about the wash or the fig. I don't like my cocktails sweet or savory. Surprising, this was very balanced. Kinda like a more complex mellow manhattan. My second beverage was the monk pig - michter's bourbon, peach, fortify lemon, cumin, amaro, lato strawberry, trinity bitters. I'm not gonna lie. I only ordered this cuz in came in one of their pig presentations. But it was a good follow up to my previous drink. And I stayed in the dark realm of beverages. The bartender was friendly and sweet. We chatted up with him a bit. The atmosphere was dark as speakeasies are. They actually have their menu in several variations - the typical list, on a fan, and on the screens in the bar. So you can find their offerings in many spots.A fun impromptu cocktail stop.REVIEW #3631"
"Beta is such an industry classic. I love everything about it from the ambiance, location, drinks, food and of course the amazing service. Jesse, Sam and Dre are the epitome of amazing, accommodating bartenders. If they're not too busy you might just get lucky enough and ask them to make you something special. I'm annoying so I definitely tend to do that. Whether the drink is on or off menu, its always delicious. Super fairly priced. Before the pandemic, this was the first place i'd ever had a gin gimlet- bomb. This is a great place for a first date because its casual but also cute with low lighting and couches. They have outside seating if you're more comfortable with that! Sometimes they are playing sports, other times they are playing music. Let's not forget about the food! The kitchen stays open until 10 and they have a lovely menu which is also very affordable. I tried the chipotle chicken tacos and have definitely gotten them a few times since then. They are the perfect menu item for me to balance out my tequila and mescal indulging. Highly recommend."
"I went to a CNY - aka Lunar New Year party here (it's the year of the Wood Snake) with my friend and had a fabulous time. The venue is spacious and they have an area where you can hang your coats! Be careful, Waymo won't take you directly there but Uber/Lyft will!"
"The local edition is the most unique club in San Francisco in my humble opinion. The place is located at the basement of famed Hearst Newspaper Building that is now closed! The doorman was pretty cool. He told us that the club only serves liquor, cocktails and other alcoholic beverages but no food. It didn't deter us a bit since we had one of the better dining experience before we tried a nearby club. The dance floor was perfect for the two couples to dance, and the band was an old ragtag horn section with Tuba, piano and three main men for trumpet, trombone and clarinet. There was one person for Banjo. The bartenders were superb and they charged $19 each. Overall the experience was fantastic. I'm so pleased to have experienced the old style band music and got to have some of the best high quality cocktails. I strongly recommend you try it when you're in SF."
"Super friendly staff! Always wanted to come here pre covid, and now that I got the time to check this place out, it turns out they're pretty chill.Bartenders Leah and Jen (Jess?) Are extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. Their good luck even made me a decent amount of cash when playing the ca hot spot lottery here every time I came! If you're missing the small town dive bar feel pre covid, then definitely hit this place up during the week nights. Small but friendly social crowd.Weekends however, its a little busy but thats to be expected huh."
"Love coming here during the Halloween season to see all of their halloween decorations. They have games you can play like a HUGE connect 4 setup. They like to create their own seasonal cocktails which are quite tasty! Club Mallard is not a club, but more a fun bar with plenty of seating and pool tables! They have the Death and Taxes beer on tap, which is awesome along with rotating options from local breweries like Fieldworks!"
"This a new cute bar , very welcoming and reasonable price that have a pretty good spirit selection and serves wine and beer (nothing on tap just bottle) . Good music and I love the decor, I definitely feel at home. This place only been open three weeks so no crowd yet but once the word get out this could definitely become an after work spot or Friday night spot for the locals."
"Fantastic bar that emanates history and class. High ceilings, rich redwood paneling, original Gustav Klimt paintings, and elegant seating all heighten the experience. Drinks are excellent, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. There was a terrific live jazz ensemble when we were there on a Thursday evening. Definitely worth a visit!"
"Love this place / spot . This is a VIBEb!! Great place to hang out in the morning with family and friends having brunch from the vendors down stairs while listening to the old school R&B music we grew up on . Dancing / partying encouraged as people hit the floor. Place is small and quaint but gets the job done . You can order food from the lounge area but you get it much faster by going down to the place and ordering it yourself . We had a party of 20 and was well taken care of . Will be returning on a Sunday to hang out !!"
"Great new tasting bar met the owners and they are just so awesome and welcomingWill becoming members"
