"Fresh made hand breaded chicken, and friendly service. It was seasoned very well and very tender and juicy. I wouldn't get the shrimp again, as I saw it was pre breaded and frozen, and I just wouldn't pay for that. I ordered some corn bread which I loved. Nice guys working there and very accommodating. Good price point as well."
"Cooked to order and great tasting. Expensive $$$$ but well worth I as you get nice hefty portions."

"Date: 4/18/2024 Time: 4:00 PM 63° SunnyAfter visiting the Kaiser lab for blood work being done, I stopped in at Hummus Republic, which is a few doors away. I have seen their ad on the FB website. The food looked yummy. It's check in and check it out. My first time here. It took me a while to peruse the menu and decide what I want in the bowl. The choices are great from what I see on display. The male employee guided me along with my selection. The bowl starts with a base, three scoops of hummus, protein, unlimited sides of veggies and finally the dressing. My bowl was filled with Mediterranean couscous, spinach, three hummus, four falafel, veggies and traditional tahini dressing. I also added two dolmaes (additional $1.00) Make it to go, please. Cost with tax and tip included was $18.Menu is posted on the window before going in to the business. Laminated menus are available at the counter to review. There is also a menu board on the wall.I was excited to get the bowl with falafel that I forgot to ask for beets. Okay a return trip is necessary to get their strawberry lychee beverage and another bowl. What I ate was so delicious that I almost forgot to take a photo. (Senior moment. LOL, meaning Little Old Lady Laughing Out Loud)."
"Killer sandwiches - little pricey but worth it. Pretty quick service, never really had to wait too long unless I had a large order. Recommend going at "off peak" times as it can get busy there and they're moving as quick as they can. Sandwiches have a lot of flavor, not the usual "fast food" bland taste. As I said... worth it. Cheesesteaks are good!!"
"Currently my go-to pho spot in Dublin/Pleasanton. I like that the broth is rich and savory, without being too salty. And they give generous amounts of meat, along with your typical fresh ingredients (basil leaves, bean sprouts, lime, jalapenos). Their vermicelli plates are flavorful and filling too! The space is clean and open, and the staff is always friendly. Great value!"
"Great and tasty chicken. It was fresh and hot when I got it. Plus it is Halal. A must have for any gathering."
"I've been here twice. and the food is really good. and they have Dimsum . I have tried the beef chow fun, General Chicken and Sweet and sour pork. all was deliciousthe second time i tried the bbq pork fried rice with Mongolian beef and lemon chicken. really really good. and sui mai was awesome too.they do charge a little more for credit card. and the 2 item plate is like $14. and the dim sum is $5. so it it costly. but you get a lot on the plate. It serves 2 lunches for me!"
"After our hike, a member of our group suggested that we have lunch at the Grill City. I didn't know about Filipino stores located on the Hesperian side of Southland Mall. In this building, there's Jollibee and Red Ribbon in front and Seafood City as the main business inside and Grill City is one the restaurants inside.Grill City is famous for its Filipino-style pork and chicken barbecue skewers and other grilled choices such as grilled pork belly, stuffed squid and tilapia, pompano and bangus, adobo, kare-kare, sinigang, nilaga, bopiz, kaldereta and menudo.Grill City is turo-turo or cafeteria style and the line went relatively quick. They were running a 4 for $16 special on the bbq pork and chicken skewers. Since I love the skewers, I decided to get 8 pork ones to eat at the dining area and bring home. The pork was nicely grilled and they were moist and tasty. I will be again for the skewers and try other items they offer. For sure, I want to try to foot long turon."
"This is a place not of this era and it should be cherished as long as it's around. The food here is good, but that's almost beside the point. Eating here is like walking back into time."
"Great customer service, not skimp on ingredients, and a very clean location. My go to location when in the area."
"Amazing Service at Chowking Milpitas with Room for ImprovementI recently visited Chowking in Milpitas and had a delightful experience, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by Isabel. She was incredibly attentive and efficient throughout my visit. When I asked for extra ice for my Thai iced tea, she promptly fulfilled my request with a smile, showcasing her excellent multitasking skills by seamlessly taking orders and answering the phone simultaneously.Towards the end of my meal, as I was contemplating ordering something to go, Isabel proactively approached me near the counter and offered assistance in selecting additional items from the menu. Her proactive and friendly approach truly enhanced my dining experience at Chowking. While the service was outstanding, there is room for improvement in the serving quantity of certain dishes. For instance, I ordered the beef wanton noodle soup and was slightly disappointed to find only one small wanton included in the dish. Enhancing the portion sizes to match customer expectations would further elevate the overall dining experience. In terms of location, Chowking's proximity to Seafood City is convenient, allowing patrons to enjoy a quick snack after shopping for groceries. The accessibility and convenience of the location make it a desirable spot for a post-shopping meal or snack, the atmosphere is decent. Overall, my experience at Chowking Milpitas was primarily positive, thanks to Isabel's exceptional service. With a focus on enhancing serving quantities to align with customer expectations, Chowking has the potential to further excel in providing a memorable dining experience."
"The location isn't the greatest, but it's definitely worth trying if you aren't alone. The egg rolls are really good as well as their fried prawns. We will be back for sure"

Thank you for always having fresh and available Krispy Krunchy and willing to make more if needed. The service is great both cashiers were so nice and welcoming. This location has the highest stars amongst the other Krispy Krunchy locations for a reason. The Krispy Krunchy is tucked away on the corner of the store. Thanks for making gas station chicken the best!

Food is just fire! Everything is spiced just right. I got the steak and shrimp combo with veggies and fried rice. As soon as I arrive to pick up food I could smell the deliciousness. The people there have great service. Super friendly! They take either cash or Zelle. I drive all the way from San Jose and I'm never disappointed.

Oh my goodness!I was sooooo surprised when I tasted my salad/bowl; it was delicious! The way you pick a bowl or wrap, protein( chicken; steak; vegan steak; mushroom mix), sauces( up to three, I.r., feta mix, different hummus's, and others ), and then toppings galore- more veggies and crispy toppings like spicy crisp garbanzo beans(YUM!)Your bowl or wrap has a base of salad greens, kale, spinach, couscous, and salted garbanzo beans. I mean it was very easy to put together a healthy lunch. They also have fresh dropped mini samosas and pita chips that were amazing. If you like a little spice then add the garlic jalapeño sauce and the Moroccan Hot sauce. The only drawback was that it was FREEZING in there. I need a comfortable temperature in the establishment so that I can enjoy my food but I solved that and sat outside so I survived that. The young man servicing us was pleasant and helpful.I think it will he my new lunch fav- easy! $15-20

Jersey Mike's Subs in Napa has excellent food quality since I started eating there when they opened. I'd never been to a Jersey Mike's, and I was pleasantly surprised how fresh the ingredients are. The service is friendly and ordering on-line is the fastest and easiest. The ambiance of the store itself is clean and cozy. There is outside seating, and it is one of the nicest shopping plaza's Napa has. Lots of trees and shade. The owners of Jersey Mike's are very kind as well. They do a great job with large orders and have a genuine kindness. I'm so glad they opened their location here.

Took a stroll during lunch rush to find Pho Queen quiet and empty with just one table of customers. Waited around for a couple of minutes before the staff showed up to greet us and let us know we can choose any table. Ordered a regular of the pho noodle soup #10 with spring rolls. The spring rolls consisted of shrimp and pork. It tasted like what you'll find at any Viet restaurant. I would prefer to have my spring rolls with only shrimp though. The peanut/hoisin dipping sauce was lacking peanut butter taste. The pho was decent. We were slightly taken aback by the sheer fact that the herbs plate didn't accompany our pho. We had to request for it. My husband wasn't satisfied with the pho. There were a couple pieces of tendon that tasted somewhat overdue. My bowl was okay. Just wish the noodles didn't come in a big glob like it was sitting around waiting to be brought out upon a customer's order. Service was quick and friendly and it was nice and quiet. Would I go back? Probably not. There's better options within a 5-mi radius. But to each their own.

Excellent fried chicken - very juicy and well seasoned. I always order at least 8 pieces and the chicken is freshly fried every time. I recommend calling in advance for large orders!

Went for LunchFood - 4/5. Pork BBQ had good grill marks and was tender. The sauce was sweet with bits of sourness and the generous amount of glazing made sure that each piece had plenty sauce. Dinuguan was a treasure trove of different parts of the pig and each piece was pretty tender. Sauce was thick as expected but the flavor could've been more sour and spicy. It wasn't bad, but felt a little plain after a few bites. Rice was a little soggy in the center, but not detrimental.Service - 4/5. Line moves quick and the staff is friendly.Value - 5/5. What I like about turo-turo style establishment is that you get to try a variety of dishes without fully committing to a massive entree size. Grill city offers a good variety with individual portion sizes. Our combo came with a grilled meat selection, another entree choice and two scoops of rice for only $11! Excellent budget and stomach space friendly option for Filipino food.Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

"Our go to Chinese restaurant. Food is delish and they give a lot. The old lady is not mean, she just wants you to be straight to the point. Call in your order in advance and pick it up in 15-20min. No tables or chairs inside."
"Krispy Krunchy Chicken is one of the many names for this location. offerings: typical KKC menu. most food ready to go under heat lamps. .eats: 4 chicken tenders, i dip, 1 biscuit (5.79)-biscuit tasted odd, more than just butter, maybe lard too.-tartar sauce tasted very mayo/vinegared based.-tender thickly battered, slightly spicy taste: faux cajun.leftovers:-indian food no longer seen on steamtable-service was quick. ordered food that i saw under the heat lamp.-parking lot has no empty space."
"Stopped by tonight because I wanted a quick dinner and was not disappointed! I noticed some other reviews here refer to the prices but I ordered a cheeseburger combo and only paid $11.96 for the cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. Photo attached of what I got! I know things are more expensive now but I feel the quantity of food matches the going rate for an order like this nowadays. I would rather give my money to a local establishment like this than a chain, so I don't mind paying "more" per se if it helps a local family. The food was really good too - the fries were perfectly salted and had a good flavor. Burger was the classic flavor you'd expect from a joint like this. I will personally continue to come back!"
"I wonderful place to get your wings fix. I was really sad when Maejoo was no longer available. I decided to try this place after a happy hour @ Fieldwork. Went with the spicy korean and naked wings. It did not disappoint. We've been back a few times and looks like it's the same cute couple that works the joint. Definitely try this spot out if you need some wings."
"I have the Oxtail's, rice and gravy, Mac and cheese, green beans and cornbread (maybe cake?). The Oxtails, rice and gravy, and green beans were all bomb and seasoned well. The mac and cheese was cheesy, but needed more flavor. I seasoned it myself at home. The cornbread was too sweet, however if it was cake, it was just fine. The food was delicious, and I will be going again. P.S. My friend got the Prawns and Snapper and said it was delish, and properly seasoned!!"
"Katsuo Sushi is located in the Eden Shores plaza next to Costco. Usually plenty of parking here as well. I came here a couple times recently, both for to go and I ordered ahead of time. They have been pretty quick here, I usually get my food within 10 - 12 minutes after calling. I usually get a couple orders of the Salmon Roll and the rolls are pretty decently sized for the price. The freshness of the salmon is good compared to other local sushi spots nearby. I would not say it is my favorite sushi spot, but it is overall a decent spot to get quick and affordable sushi in the area."
"Excellent service and food. Fresh ingredients and well made wrap. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Store is clean and well kept."
"A friend recommended me this restaurant to try in Pleasanton. This was rated one of the best sushi in the city. It did not disappoint. The service was very nice and welcoming. Staff were really polite and gave me many recommendations to try. The service was good and super friendly. The ambiance was really nice, the restaurant was very neat and clean right when I stepped inside. The menu they had were super simple and easy to follow. The menu was really eye pleasing, very colorful and artistic. The food was really good and the quality of the fish was good as well. I ordered the Lion King Pocket Sushi. It was one of their signature pocket sushi. It was very delicious. The food look very aesthetic and pleasing to the eyes. Overall the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great.Overall I rate this restaurant a 4/5 star review. Definitely will be back to try other signature items. If you like sushi and want something that is quick and easy to eat this is the place to be. Pocket Sushi is Asian style burrito, very good. Huge shoutout to the staff working, they were very welcoming and were patient with me and my friends of ordering our food."
"Solid Chinese food, not to mention fast and convenient. Egg rolls and fried chicken are a must and everything is seasoned well from the fried rice to the chow mein and all of the side are tasty as well ."
"Ordered large Chicken Tikka Masala and cheese breadsticks for delivery. The food was delicious extremely fresh pizza and breadsticks. Hot on arrival not like other pizza places where it's warm by the time it gets to my home. The service was phenomenal the driver had amazing energy and vibe. Extremely pleasant customer service experience. Very nice man. I love that this place is family owned and has been around for years. I will be continue to order great pizza from this place. I strongly support this business and their amazing pizza. I strongly recommend! :)"
"This is a review about the chicken! I used DoorDash during the Covid-19 healthcare emergency. Chicken arrived early, and it was hot, fresh, juicy and delicious! The crust is crispy and has the Cajun heat! No problems."
"Up date, about 5 hours after I ate the chicken stick today, I still can taste and smell of the chicken.-----------------------------------------------------------BBQ Chicken Stick, 3 good sliced chicken meat on a skewer= $1.50Meat ball Stick, 3 of 2 inch diameter meat balls on a skewer= $2.00Both 8 inch skewer.FXXX, it's good shit. Both juicy and good.Tax included!I definitely can't become a vegan.Who cares for the donuts!Well, I do.And I had the donuts too.It was not too bad after the chicken stick. You just don't eat the donuts 1st.There is a small sign on the front window says Chinese food, chow mein, fried rice and egg roll. And donuts.Hey Mr. Lee, You are doin' the chicken right too! And the big juicy meat balls.Keep it up, dude!P.S. Please see Amelia P's review. and she is right, the chicken stick sold out very fast every day. I went there at 11:30 A.M!"
"The Original Red Onion will always have my heart! Growing up in Pinole, I've had so many memories here over the years from family take out nights to first dates to sharing this nostalgic spot with my husband and friends. There is truly nothing better than an old school burger, comforting chilli cheese fries and an ice cold soda - The Original Red Onion does just that really well! Juicy meat, crispy potatoes, and years later so many other fun menu options to choose from..but I can never steer away from the classics! While there make sure to say hi to Johnny, the gem of The Original Red Onion - for quick service, quality food, indoor/outdoor seating in a homey atmosphere, easy parking in the shopping center next to Pinole Valley HS, all the stars align for burger time! You can even order through the Yelp app for delivery/takeout."
"Simple place, take out only, but they have turkey burgers!! Milk Shakes are fresh made and love the crinkle fries! The kind that Foster's Freeze USED to do. Very generous portions on the fries too! Love this place."
"Drove 30 min just for their tapsilog! Definitely one of the best I've had around. Also tried their sisig, however is different from what I'm used to. Halo halo is a must but my bf thought it was okay but since it was a hot day it satisfied me.There's a few tables inside, water is free, and pretty clean."
"Omg yum!! My bf and I were starting a road trip and needed to grab some food for the road. We were craving good burritos so we called in some California burritos and they did not disappoint. I typically get carne asada and he gets chicken. I usually find chicken to be kind of bland but man, both of these burritos were super good. They have some special sauce in there that makes them flavorful and juicy - totally coming back for more!! We also grabbed a order of plantains which came with a sweet sauce - these were also very on point. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised and didn't expect to find something so good, fast, and easy right off of the freeway.Oh and they are located in a shopping center so there is parking, some spaces are tight but there are plenty! They accept orders in person, phone or online. See you next time!"
"This is a review about the Korean BBQ burger and a shake. The Korean bbq burger had so many onions and soy sauce in it that it overpowered the taste of the milk-- felt somewhat like puking after. However, the fries are great and I liked the tiny fry bits in the burger but there was barely any veggies in it for that price point.I paid around $20 for these three items which was insane given the portion sizes. Other notes: no restroom in the restaurant, and water is provided. The outside seating area is nice."
"Food quality is still there, but service and portions sizes are still decreasing. Every time I visit, the prices seem to go up, with new price labels taped all over the menu. The service is always very mediocre with one worker working at a time, even at peak hours which can make the line very long. Came in to pickup dinner one guy in line, worker was having a personal conversation with customer, took at least 5 minutes to acknowledge me and say "Ill be right there for you". Still no seating inside or restrooms to use. Even after a year of indoor eating. The portions are very skimpy compared to other locations, even with price increase. Both proteins are now cut smaller so you get less as well. Convenient location, but for service and your money's worth, its not worth it to me."
"Usually go to the one in Sacramento but today found myself in Oakland visiting my great uncle X (sn, he's black panther hence the last name X... its alot of history, black history when we do lunch.) We went to his usual laundry spot and there's JJs . last time I went I gave em 3 stars, this time was better so I am going with 4. I liked it a lot, and very convenient to eat while waiting for laundry. Yay multitasking. This location stays on brand with the huge portions --we ate whiting cause I like it better than catfish. Also got jumbo shrimp fries bread.... Tried their lemonade which I never have seen it was good. Dessert was chocolate cake, idunno why but it wasn't moist enough for me. All in all thought, twas Pretty good. Not bad."
"Accidentally found this in the food court. Omg for the prices we pay it worth it. The portion is big. Get the six combo with free drinks and dessert. The service was excellent. Just remember it a food court so it little bit noise but clean."
"I taught myself--"if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all" BUT this is YELP & really my civic duty.A friend & I were hungry and wanted to grab a bite--Chinese food in particular. We Yelped & should've paid more attention to the orange stars!!! Anyhow, we ordered egg rolls, chow fun, & BBQ fried rice. The eggrolls were nothing to write home about, the chow fun noodles were stuck together & absolutely flavorless with fatty/gristly meat & the BBQ fried rice was just as bland. So much lack of flavor that not even soy sauce could help. The restaurant itself is large, clean & service was good."
"This has become my go to place over the past few years. I think their quality has improved since the pandemic as has their customer service. At one time their food was too salty to eat but it has improved as well. This is a good place to get chaat. You really cannot go wrong with their chaat. Their 3 item combo is a great deal because you get 3 items, rice, 2 rotis, pickle and dessert. There is enough food for 2 meals at least. I think the only dish I would not recommend is the soya chap. It was too salty to eat and I ended up throwing it away. They have a whatsapp group where you can get their daily menu which is nice to check before you go in. I also go here to get snacks when I have guests coming over."
"called this place again for lunch...Again, the same asian employee was rude & a lil weird this time. She kept thinking I was speaking Spanish, but i was PERFECTLY speaking English! SMH employee needs better training!"
