Bentley's Cocktail Bar & Lounge

Great drinks and appreciable staff!Christian has helped us the past 3 Saturdays and has been an awesome bartender! Very attentive and very friendly. Place has plenty of seats and great atmosphere, check them out!

Bentley's is more like a Buick. Walked up to the bar with 4 employees in the back. All these guys made eye contact with me and my boyfriend and we literally stood there waiting until I was just like why are we even here. We go to sit back down with my friend who decided to go up there so she could grab our drinks and then they finally talked to her after she had to say "Hey can I grab a drink?". She asked for some sparkling rosé and all they had was some very cheap champagne. Ended up just leaving cause the place wasn't giving off the right vibe and horrible/nonexistent service. Like why would we pay to stay and tip people that act like it's an inconvenience. The bar was also in complete disarray with dirty glasses everywhere and the area we sat down at there was some gross lime on the seat we had to flick off. Servers or whatever they are, were completely disengaged. Hire people that maybe are actually providing service and care more than talking about how cool their coworkers jacket looks. Literally felt like we were just at the tail end of some sad house party with loud music. Ended up going to Five Suns downstairs, got our drinks right away with amazing service and a clean/fun atmosphere. Highly recommend going there instead, been there many times before and it's always an amazing time

Very cool casual bar upstairs for drinks w/ friends n family. The staff is super friendly. My brothers are regulars and have been posting about this place when they have DJ or live music. Very bright w/ window seating. Good for a date night or group - there was 5 of us and got a great spot next to the Tv/fire place. Street parking was easy on a Saturday. We'll be back for live music soon!

Love this place / spot . This is a VIBEb!! Great place to hang out in the morning with family and friends having brunch from the vendors down stairs while listening to the old school R&B music we grew up on . Dancing / partying encouraged as people hit the floor. Place is small and quaint but gets the job done . You can order food from the lounge area but you get it much faster by going down to the place and ordering it yourself . We had a party of 20 and was well taken care of . Will be returning on a Sunday to hang out !!

I live 20 minutes away from Martinez Ca. I've never visited the downtown area. It's very cute with lots of shops and cafes. We came across a place called Market & Main. It has a few eateries and a couple of bars inside. We decided to go upstairs to this place called Bentley's. I really liked the ambiance, and our drinks were great. Would like to stop by in the evening to see what the night life looks like. When in Martinez, try this place. You won't be disappointed.

We had high hopes for this cocktail bar, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. First off, they didn't have mezcal--major red flag for a place claiming to specialize in cocktails. The drink I ordered tasted like it came straight from a bottle of the most artificial margarita mix imaginable. They didn't have champagne or Prosecco. A friend ordered a specialty martini and did not enjoy it, said it was extremely sugary. Nothing about it tasted fresh, and for $17-$20 per drink, I expected at least some quality ingredients. The only saving grace was the bartenders, who were friendly and attentive despite the subpar offerings. Sadly, nice staff can't make up for not good drinks. Had potential to be a great spot but the market is just not holding up to the standard it claims.

This place is so cute! And the service was phenomenal. Perfect for an after work drink with colleagues, meet up with friends, or date night. I told the bartender I like gin and she recommended something that was amazing. I forget the name I think there was rosemary in it. Will 10859202% be back!

Devynn, Eli, & Christian have made my experience one of a kind. However Zach a fellow bartender was extremely passive aggressive. However the staff & cocktails are amazing 10/10 espresso martinis! Love those boys cant wait to bring my ladies back!

I'd heard great things about this place and want to enjoy a drink with the girls. We decided to check this bar out. We got there two hours before closing but most of the chairs were up on the tables that were not being used. There were only three other groups there. We weren't sure if they were even open. It was super weird and not inviting at all. Almost like they didn't want anyone else there. The bartender confirmed they were opened and put some chairs down for us at a table near the bar.We ordered our first round. Drinks were good. That's why I'm giving it a two star. We ordered or second round and it was never put in. 15 min later they came to tell us it was last call but we never got our second round. He apologized and put it in. Again, the drinks are good.They then started to mop while we were still there and put the rest of the seats up during business hours. The smell of the mop really change the vibe and ambiance. We just didn't feel the vibe all the review rave about.

The ambiance was moody and rustic. Think prohibition era speakeasy meets the open market. The drinks were ok but the vibes were next level.
