Rumor has it this is the best place for bun bo hue and pho in Denver. I confirmed the rumor is true. Growing up in a Vietnamese household with a mom who owned a Vietnamese restaurant years ago, I can tell you I am the biggest snob when it comes to Bun Bo Hue and Pho. But let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. It tastes almost homemade. Chef definitely made it with love. Both pho and bbh broth were perfectly cooked with the right amount of spices and very flavorful. I am not from Denver. But I will definitely make a stop here whenever I am in town. Also, shoutout to the sweet owner! I left my bag there. Because it is a gift from a family, it means a lot. I need to have it with me. I contacted them after hour via Facebook messenger, and the owner is nice enough to answer my message.

After many failed attempts to eat at their old location, I finally made it. This will the first of many visits. We were seated right away and service was friendly and attentive and quick. Get the hot tea if you know how to drink Asian tea because it was good and helps with digestion. This is one of the only Vietnamese restaurants I have been in Colorado where they serve Vietnamese appetizers. We need to come back with more people in our party so we can sample the variety of appetizers. The food was delicious. The bun bo hue and pho đặc biệt were a rich nice broth. The broth alone was flavorful without needing to add hoisin or fish sauce. You can order a bowl to share with your party. The bánh xèo and bánh bẻo were so tasty. The bánh xèo was crunchy with each bite and it's loaded with pork belly, shrimp, bean sprouts, etc. The bánh bẻo was also delicious with all of the toppings. The nem lụi was delicious as well and it's a diy spring roll dish. I like that cucumbers are cut in slices so it makes wrapping easier.Overall, just so good. Food comes out fast. Service is nice. Food is delicious. Parking is small so keep that in mind.

I have been missing Bun Bo Hue since I stopped eating meat, and they have a delicious vegetarian Bun Bo Hue Chay! Now I know where to go to get my fix.

Came back here again from Cali and it's still good . I think their banh nam is better than alot of restaurants in Cali too . If you don't eat a lot, I recommend sharing a bun Bo hue bowl because it's really big

I saw a Facebook food group's post featuring O Lien and the pictures looked great so I decided to check it out. Well, I actually preferred the original Pho 79 (?) where this space used to be. There's nothing wrong with O Lien's food, they just look better on photos than they tasted. The Banh Xeo came out golden in color just like how I craved any pancakes. But boy it is fried so cripsy hard I was afraid of my crown coming off! I think what it is is rice crepe that they brushed egg liquid on and then deep fried, but because the rice crepe is not a flaky product to begin with, it just became crispy cardboard. Bun Bo Hue was fine, nothing bad, nothing too outstanding, just average. Can't complain about service. I am curious about the "stage" looking thing with neon lights, wonder if they have karaoke bar here. No matter, the karaoke alone won't make this my destination.

My friends and I recently visited Denver, CO, and while we were on our way to another Pho restaurant, we happened to pass by O Lien Kitchen and decided to stop in instead. We were warmly greeted by the staff and seated promptly. After asking our waiter for recommendations, we ordered the Bánh Hue Thấp Cảm, Bún Hến, Cơm Hến, and the Bún Bò Huế King Bowl. Every dish was exceptionally flavorful, and our entire group thoroughly enjoyed the meal. In fact, we were so impressed that we returned to O Lien the very next day and even purchased frozen appetizers to take home with us. We highly recommend O Lien Kitchen to anyone interested in experiencing authentic Hue cuisine, especially if you appreciate the nuanced flavors of dishes featuring fermented shrimp paste, which is masterfully prepared here.

Ate here food was eh it looked pretty good but broth was watered down for sure in the bun bo hue and bun rieu. Service was eh too i was without water for at least 10-15 minutes and had to ask for a refill. They charged me gratuity on a party of 4 so they counted the babies as adults then when i said oh so you charged the babies as adults because gratuity is for 5+ the guy said oh well you came in 5 minutes after 8? They close at 830 but we actually got there at 750. Bad service and close to bland food and workers trying to make extra money by adding gratuity is a 0 star in my books.

Really liked this Vietnamese establishment when they first opened, but went here recently and something just was not right. Ordered bun bo hue both times, but this last time, the meat smelled and tasted old. Also ordered eggrolls and they weren't the ones we expected as they had the clear wrap. For someone who rarely dines out for Vietnamese, was really excited about this place and what they have to offer after my first visit, but this last visit was disappointing.

Have been looking for another pho spot and this spot did not disappoint. The portion was great and broth was delicious. I love that they had sate chili oil on the side! Not many restaurants I've been near Denver has it. We enjoyed the Vietnamese iced coffee as well, and the establishment was clean and big. Check this place out if you're near the area!

If you like Huẽ food (central Vietnamese food), then check out this place. I'm so glad that we have this food option in Denver. The food are authentic and tasty- just like what I had in Vietnam. Love it.
