This new Chinese restaurant recently opened in a spot that was home to another Chinese restaurant. The sign outside says New Owner and I know it has a different name. I ate here several years ago and remembering being very unimpressed hence I never returned. Seeing the new signage I decided to go back. First trip was for dinner about a week ago. The restaurant was empty when I arrived at 7:00 p.m. I ordered the chicken and vegetables that came with egg drop soup. The restaurant is attractive in its interior especially at night with the distinctive red glow of the lighting. My entree arrived less than 10 minutes after ordering and before I could finish my egg drop soup. The soup was ok but the chicken and vegetables were uninspiring and bland. I didn't really care to finish the meal. I would have rated this meal a 2.My second visit was for lunch today. During lunch they offer a buffet lunch. It's a small buffet but adequate. I sampled various items and they were all good. Nothing stood out but it was acceptable and I graded this meal as a 3. Both times my table service was friendly and attentive.I am going to give them the benefit of a doubt and rate this place an overall score of 3. If I return, it will probably be for lunch. I wish this new owner well but my 3 is a weak 3.

I ordered delivery through postmates and I am SO impressed. Everything was packaged so carefully, they even wrapped the soup containers in plastic bags!As for the food itself, it was delicious. The Mongolian beef was tender and flavorful, the egg drop soup had lots of eggs, but my favorite was the hot and sour soup. Hot and soup soup has become my latest obsession and this place had hands down the best hot and sour soup I've ever had. My only complaint is that the egg roll tasted kinda sweet, but I'd give up egg rolls forever in exchange for that amazing hot and sour soup.

Honestly this experience was ideal from start to finish. I ordered take out although they do offer delivery. I ordered the: Roasted pork lo mein, shrimp with Chinese vegetables combo (which comes with choice or soup, choice of rice, and an eggroll), roasted pork with Chinese vegetables, and General Tso's Chicken combo. Everything was DELICIOUS!! Not a single bad thing to say. And if it couldn't get any better...The lady (I'm assuming owner) insisted on giving me these slices of cake (at no cost and with no prompting). I walked out to my car and began buckling up and she came out to my car and handed me this bag of fried noodles! A very sweet experience and I will definitely be back, and not just because she gave me free delicious food, but because it was even a gesture she considered.

I was honestly not pleased with the quality of food, quantity of food, and diversity of food. I arrived well after lunch, but there were many empty trays. The lady did ask if there was anything that I wanted, and she brought me that dish, which was sesame chicken and not outstanding. That act of kindness merits two stars rather than one, but otherwise, it was very poor all around. A bit sad. I want to see restaurants succeed and I want this place to do better. There were two other couples when I was there, and one other man came in and got some food to go. This place was just dire.

Probably the worst buffet you will have without getting sick. Small variety of food, I tried a bit of everything during a weekday a lunch time and it was ok at best... the place was uncomfortably warm too. Will not be returning.
