My second time visiting this place being in NC, this place serving good Indian street food snacks is a must try if you like Indian food. They really have a lot of options to choose from. My repeat order is always their chole bhature, Dahi puri, pani puri and this time I tried their chicken momos. The chutney served with momos was really complimenting with the thin steamed momos. Chicken stuffing was juicy but could have been steamed little more. Service is quick and not too much wait time. Ambiance is like a casual snack place with comfortable seatings.

The ambiance is definitely like a former Wendy's with the unmistakable interior still pretty much intact. You place your order at the counter and given a number. Water, silverware is self serve. There's also a huge selection of mithai next to the counter which is on my to try list. Where Nukkad does well is the food. We ordered the vegetarian thali platter which was a very generous serving with 4 poori, raita, sambar, dal & 2 other curries along with pickles, onion & mithai. This was the perfect way to sample a bit of everything. Everything was well spiced and pretty mild. Definitely adding Nukkad to our Indian food adventures.

Looking for a street style chaat similar to the streets of old Delhi .. come to Nukkad (the meaning of Nukkad a hindi word is the intersection of two small streets) I am a hogger of Delhi style chola bhatura ... a white deep fried piece of heaven that is a stretchable chewy bread... I measure how good an Indian restaurant is by their ability to make a good bhatura. (In US restaurants sell everything from poori to deep fried tortilla in the name of bhature... )Nukkad by far comes closest to Authentic Delhi style bhatura .. Chole were red and not black which would have made it perfect but by far the best cole bhature I have eaten in NC ... Other things I tried1)Raj kachori - amazing to taste/crunchy from outside tasty frominside2)Vada pao- not too crazy about this in general but it tasted ok3) Kesar Badam Milk - great taste, made from fresh .. Go Nukkad for this4) Masala Chai - yummy and came straight from my family's kitchen ... cooked to perfection/ not bitter by over boiling nice clean ambiance... I like self service of utensils and water... Some music would have made it betterI WILL BE BACK for sure

Went here after quite some time and enjoyed the food this time. We had Aloo Paratha which was perfectly done. Gobi Manchurian and Chilli garlic noodles. The Manchurian gravy was a tad sweet. The Rose Lassi was good. Not a fan of falooda since this was the first time I had falooda with peanuts and I didn't like the combo of crushed peanuts with falooda. I loved the Paratha so much that I had to order an extra one to go.

Every person enjoyed the chaat & went for seconds. Thanks to Muki & Michael for making the event special with your yummy chaat.

Nukkad is the best indian restaurant in Cary, NC. Kids love their paneer makhani and pav bhaji. We love all the variety of chaats/snack menu. The samosa chaat is most amazing. I particularly love their manchurian fried rice and veggie biryani. While the ambiance is basic, no frills and service can be slow especially it tends to be full, we often order takeout/delivery because we love the food so much.

We went there for lunch today. The place is super clean! You can even smell the cleaning detergent as soon as you walk in ! The menu was rich with plenty of options for everyone, vegan, vegetarian, spicy... Etc. But the food was average at best, which was a huge disappointment .

Tasty food that captures the essence of Indian street food. Excellent selection of dishes. Reasonably priced. Processes can be improved a bit. If you want restaurant level service, go elsewhere.

Under seasoned over priced, warm water and no effort put into service and food. No change to building just looked like the Wendy's there before.
