Nook Bakery & Coffee Bar

Literally my favorite coffee spot in the city. Mike and Edna make you feel right at home. AMAZING coffee, pastries and food. If you're visiting Philly or new to city, would highly recommend visiting Nook!

Employees were so sweet and seemed to know regular customers by name. Coffee and quiche were great. Only downside is the seating situation - it's really only one long bench with a couple of side tables in front of it. If you're wanting to grab a delicious coffee and quick bite to go, this is your spot.

The best muffin in Philly so far! Highly recommend their freshly baked muffins! I love this kinds of local small business that roasts their own coffee & bakes their pastries in the shop. I will definitely going back to try their other baked goods go support local small business! There is not a lot of space for hangout /dine-in, but there is restroom inside the store. It's more suitable for takeout instead of dine-in.

I stopped here for a quick coffee and bite to eat in the morning before heading into work. I just ordered the house coffee and a breakfast sandwich on a muffin with cheese, bacon, egg, and spinach. The sandwich and coffee were good. If I were a picky coffee person I bet I would have loved this place, but I'm not. This is more of a 3.5 star for me and provides a minimalist approach. Eg there is a small bench inside, no real tables just end tables, and a few chairs stacked up in the corner. Not a ton either on the hot food menu but the pasteries looked very good. Service was quick and friendly with some locals who are regulors here. Would recommend this place for a quick stop to pick up and take in on your way to work.

I had the best Pumpkin Chai here! It was absolutely delicious! It tasted like it was crafted with quality ingredients because the spices in it really stood out. If I lived close, I would be here weekly. The service was great, I was greeted upon entry into. The cafe is small, so there is not a lot of seating.

I got an iced latte and it was pretty good. The service was great and price of the latte is good too.

The cappuccino was SO GOOD. I haven't found a cappuccino this good in a long time, and I'm not even a big coffee girl! That says a lot. The barista was so sweet and gave me her recommendations which I loved. Loved the decorations around the cafe, added a homey touch.

A super cute and seems like locally owned coffee shop with tons of coffee choices and baked goods! I had a latte (delicious) and a coffee muffin with a blueberry bar for later. Would definitely come back!

Very friendly barista served us great coffee and hot chocolate. Lemon raspberry bar was tasty, chocolate croissant was decent. Seating was very awkward, not arranged like in the pictures here. Felt like they had pushed everything against the wall to clean maybe?

Very nice bakery and easy to get to but could be hard to miss. There are a few seats for comfort. The lady taking orders is very pleasant. The hot chocolate is very chocolatey and tasty. The coffee cocoa loaf is one of the best chocolate cakes I've had.
