Noodle 88 was aight. The waiter was cool. He was running the whole show and crushing it. The noodles were yummy! My only caveat- I would have loved some drunken noodles, but they don't have them here.

This is not your average Chinese restaurant. The menu is different from others with some exotic choices such as the crab meat asparagus soup which was delicious. The Dan Tze Mein Noodles were delightful as well. The prices reflect the quality and the portions are commensurate for what you pay. The next time I am in the Springfield area I will definitely be back to try the rest of the impressive looking menu.

GF friends, delight! Noodle 88 offers a specific GF menu which highlights what can be made gluten free, and their adjustments are delicious (Copy of Gluten free menu from fall 2023 included in pics!). I had the sweet and sour chicken, which came with broccoli; it was the most delicious sweet and sour chicken I've ever had! Everything was extremely fresh and tasty. Will certainly be back to try more.

I was there yesterday afternoon. Me and my wife ordered the . Short beff ribs platter. And the beef was very very tuff. Its was like eating a piece of cardboard.

I got some duck bao, fried tofu with chili oil, and scallion pancake. Pros: the restaurant's ambience is REALLY nice for the area! I was really surprised. The scallion pancake has a little bite to it, I love spicy- so that's a plus for me. The duck bao WAS JUICY! No dry duck, and very flavorful. Growth areas: - fried tofu could be more golden. - spicy chili oil could be more authentic. It was more like a hoisin sauce. Service was totally transactional. Not bad if I need a bao fix close by, and don't want to drive to Chinatown in Philly.

Surprisingly really good food in Swarthmore/Springfield. The owners are Taiwanese, so by that logic you should get the popcorn chicken, but my boyfriend and I ended up getting vermicelli noodle with ground pork, szechuan style beef stomach, and the seafood fried noodle (my fave). The portions are decently sized and it's probably the best Chinese (predominantly Szechuanese) food you'll get around Springfield, will be returning.

I have only tried it once, so I cannot judge too much of the food, but it was very clean. The service was very nice. Very polite male waited on us, sincere, quiet, peaceful atmosphere, and if you like noodles, then you will enjoy this. I did not get to try many things so I will have to try it again.

Every time I go to my dog's vet I stop in Noodle Eighty Eight. They never disappoint. I would suggest you take your time and other something different every you go as it is hard to nail their goodness down to one thing. I generally don't get to eat in but I've sat and waited for food as the dogs are usually being watched but my vet family. lol but the ambience is a vibe and the customer service is top notch. Enjoy!

I ordered take out. About $45 worth for a good sampling of a few items. I was generally unimpressed. Don't get me wrong... it wasn't bad. It was just nothing special.
