Great Neighborhood bar. Some may not like it; they allow smoking and only have beer and wine. Great jukebox, friendly ( over 40) people. Love it.

Great neighborhood bar. Under new ownership! It's an ice house / dive bar which means you have to purchase a set up which is pretty cheap considering going to other bars that sell liquor. Have a good range of beer and wine along with really good frozen drinks. Good looking staff and attentive bartenders. They have a cool open mic night. The patrons are mostly over 30 ... coldest beer in Spring Branch! All in all the only and best ice house to consider.. Friendly and comfortable. They reserve parking up front for motorcycles and are very considerate of keeping up with making sure that motorcycle parking is cleared of any thing for motorcycle riders. As a rider myself I find that extremely important! It is the only bar in Springbranch where it's legal to smoke inside... may be frowned upon but with two garage doors it's definitely ok with air flow .. one of the few friendly bars in the area ! I recommend coming by and checking it out

People are nice and fun here- but the bar tender and most patrons smoke INSIDE. If you like second hand smoke, this is your place... if not, then avoid the joint

Nomad Tavern had just the right amount of dive bar and the most random selection of music. Songs went from classic rock to R&B to alternative to country to 80's pop. Everyone there seemed to have enjoyed themselves. There was a stripper pole in the middle of the floor next to the bar with a sign that said "use at own risk". I can dig it. I bet it gets the kind of rowdy fueled only by the cheap beer from the bar. Cheap was right. Less than $3 a beer. This is the quintessential less is more. I have yet to be here for their Thursday steak night. It will happen. Some random old guy walked up to my friends girlfriend and introduced himself. It was kind of weird until we all realized it was the owner. He had wanted to introduce himself to us as he recognized that we were new people. That was pretty cool. The kind of guy that grew up in the area and now has a small business in the area he gew up in.

Dive bar . Laid back, small and some pool tables. Good to drink a couple of beers after work for sure. It's cool that there is a taco truck across the street that serves more than tacos, also someone comes in with homemade pot pies for sale and deserts like banana pudding. Like I said just a joint.

If I advertise my name in French, is that a Nom-Ad? Or is that just when there's a food commercial? That's something to think about when you visit this little old watering hole. I'm not a big fan of this bar, because of course there is smoke inside the bar even to this day, as other reviews have outlined, and other issues too, such as some unsavoury characters who are not a big fans of me.Having said that, it's a lovely neighbourhood bar that adds a lot of character to Spring B and so we love that about it.

Don't bother with their so called open mic, they only let a certain type of music be played, 3 people total at bar for a crowd, and lousy host equals a bad time.
