We were excited to try out this Restaurant/Hookah lounge during our stay in Houston. Nomad has multiple locations. We visited the midtown location. We had to wait in line, which was okay, as it moved quickly. There was a $20 cover to enter and the style is BYOB. The hostess asked if we had reservations as they only had a 2 top available and we were a party of 4. Since the accommodations weren't feasible, we decided to leave. There was a police officer outside who inquired on why we were leaving and obtained a manager. The manager greeted us and asked if we made reservations. We advised her that we were visiting from out of town and was unaware. She checked inventory and advised she had a 4 top she could sit us at. It took about 15min before a server greeted us. She asked if we paid for the table we were sitting at. We kindly advised her that the manager sat us there. She went to verify. After 10min, she approached us and asked if we were advised of the table's $200 minimum. We were not advised of this, nor did we care to partake in it, so we left. While the manager was kind and located a table for us, she should've advised us that there was a table minimum. We paid a total of $80 for entry to sit for 25min as they provided no refund. Unfortunately this is a review where I cannot comment on the food as we did not have a chance to try it.

I checked out this place during my visit and me & my mom really enjoyed it! This hookah bar was such a vibe, I really loved the decor of flowers and graffiti. Also, the music was 1000/10. The food was awesome. My mom had the lamb comb breakfast & I had the Cajun salmon pasta & I really liked my meal. It had the spices & flavor that I was anticipating! They had a BYOB fee of 12.50 and it started to get packed around 10-10:30 when we were prepping to head out. Overall, I'd definitely be back!

Great service from Lyric! *Food is always on point when I come here. *Customer service has improved tremendously, speaking for when you come in early before the night crowd. I'll admit I've had several bad experiences when it comes to customer service here.. but this day was different just because of Lyric. *I always get the Love66 hookah flavor... bomb!! It's by a Turkish brand named Adaya that isn't always easy to find at hookah spots so they definitely get a plus for that. The standard Al Fahkar hookah flavors aren't all that great & taste cheap, so definitely try out Adaya if you're looking for a new taste in hookah.

I enjoyed my resent visit to Nomads. I would say this is definitely a place to chill but only when you go early and not when it's turned into a club. They have a really good DJ . The waitress are super nice and the food is good. I did not like that they served my salad with a plastic fork as I was unable to pick up my croutons. Also, if deciding to visit DO NOT sit on the sofa on the right hand side in the back by the flower wall. When it rains , the water will drip on you as their is a leak in the ceiling that has not been fixed. Other then that it was a great experience and plus it's BYOB

So let me be honest. I typically don't kick it during the week because I'm up so darn early for work, but BA-BAY when I say this Wednesday nite adventure to Nomad was worth it, it was ABSOLUTELY worth it! 1)BYOB. Enough said. (Yeah it's like a $12 charge per person; however, you can drink what you want. 2)The atmosphere was very nice. It's a perfect "I'm sick of my job for today" vibe. Just kidding. It's a great spot to unwind after work or chill just because. Old couches. Not the typical bar and lounge. 3) Service was pretty decent. It was definitely prompt.4. That GOT DAWGGONE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Listen... you owe it to yourself to get those NOMAD SHRIMP. I'd eat that ish even if I had a damn seafood allergy because they were that damn good. And the Nomad pasta was pretty darn tasty and filling as well. I straight up told my foodie friends as soon as I got home. I'll be back with friends tomorrow!

Nomad never disappoints. It is located at the corner of Westheimer and fountainview. They offer a special during the daytime during the week if you order it entree you get a free hookah. They also have BYOB and before 5:00 it is $10 per person which equals $13 per person after they add on tax and gratuity. All you get if you do BYOB is a bucket of ice and cups. It honestly makes more sense just to get a beverage that they serve on their menu. Keep in mind the reason they are BYOB is because they do not serve liquor. The hookah is strong and the food is always amazing. The service can be hit or miss depending on the time and day and whether or not they have a packed house or not. There are plenty of places to sit there are couches as well as booth-like settings that have ripped up seating that desperately needs to be replaced. All in all it's a great spot to relax and work during the week or turn up during the weekend.

First visited this business over a year ago. Love the ambiance and colorful decoration. The DJ was holding it down and had everyone in a hype mood. I ordered the Nomad Burger and it was delicious. Great food potions and a juicy burger. I recommend ordering the Nomad Pasta, Lemon Pepper Naked Wings or the Jerk Lamb Chops if you're ordering food. The passion lips hookah if you like fruity flavors or Love 66, Orange, Vanilla if you're in the mood for something stronger. Looking for a place to hang out Nomad is definitelythe place to go. Delicious Food, great environment and good Customer service.

This BYOB hookah lounge on Westheimer is a staple. The eclectic decor and intimate seating make this a great spot to pregame or for a night out with friends. There is a fee to park as well as a two hour limit for each table. In addition to this, there is a cost to sit in each section after a certain time I believe 10 PM. I recommend this to anyone who is visiting the area because it's nearby other hot tourist spots like Kamp and Prospect Park. The first time I came here I ordered the lamb chops in the middle of a packed section. The music was loud and vibes were reminiscent of a 1990s hip-hop club. Presentation isn't much however, the nomad shrimp is a must order. I also enjoy the salmon sliders. The food is a 10 out of 10.I rate the hookah a 8/10. I appreciate that they refill your Kohl's without you asking.
