Not overly impressed, not unsatisfied either. Just your standard Chinese cuisine. The General Tso's chicken platter was good. Fried rice was full of veggies and the portion was great. Just thought the sauce was a bit gelatinous. The egg roll was again, very standard, nothing wrong with it.Also had an order of the fried wontons, these were tasty. Perfect sweet sauce to accompany, and I received way more than I anticipated.Overall, the pricing was awesome! So affordable for what you are getting. Could really see this being a great option for feeding the family or just a lazy date night.

There's a time and a place for everything, and the time and place for No. 1 Cafe is midnight when everywhere else is closed. According to regular standards this is probably below average Chinese food, but markedly more delicious later at night. My friends and I ordered an array of things and I'd say the best thing were the wings. Crispy and delicious like I've come to expect from every other Chinese place. Egg rolls were ok, pizza rolls were not. Fried rice didn't have much flavor. General Tso's chicken was pretty tasty. I should also mention it is really inexpensive so there's that. It also arrived quickly and satisfied our munchies while also making us feel bad about ourselves, but isn't that what Chinese food is for?

Open late and great Chinese food in Port Richmond. First time trying here, only because it was close to where I was staying with friends for the holidays. I didn't expect much getting my order just before they closed. When I got my food back to the house I was in for a wonderful surprise. Pork Lo Mien was full of pork and onions like I like. Chicken and broccoli had a wonderful flavor. The steamed dumplings were plentiful and delicious. What a great find! The leftovers were great too!

Out of the 3 places in the area we've tried, this one has the best egg foo yung I've had at least. It's moist and not dry like some of the other places...

This is the best Chinese food restaurants in the neighborhood. They are very pleasant at the counter and service is fast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

For a regular local takeout/delivery type place, their food is quite good while using nice ingredients. I've lived in the area for over six years and although this place probably has only been around for about three years, this is the only place I order from now when I feel like just calling in some quick Chinese.

The general taos was soggy and had a weird smell to it. Sweet and sour chicken was soggy and lacking flavor. I didn't like they way they made their fried cheese wonton. Their pork fried rice wasn't too bad although some parts looked like it came from the end of the batch.

The food itself is fine--normal Chinese food fare. What troubled me is the number of people who walked inside without a mask. I waited outside for my order to be finished. In the span of about 7 minutes, 4 different people walked in without any mask whatsoever. The waiting space is small and not ventilated at all. The woman at the front desk was angry that I was waiting outside, and I told her that I didn't feel safe waiting in her waiting room, and she got frustrated with me. I won't be returning.

I'm not quite sure where to even begin. If I could give 0 stars I would have done that instead. Completely unacceptable from the delivery to the food itself. The food came about an hour after I ordered. The bags and everything smelled of smoke. Delivery man was accompanied by what I'm assuming was his wife or girlfriend. Completely trashy. The food was inedible... The shrimp in the shrimp chow mein smelled expired, general tso's chicken was all bread. The only thing I was able to eat was the rice. Truly don't understand how the reviews are as high as they are. Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again...EVER It's a shame that there are no decent Chinese delivery places in port Richmond.
