I really like the food. The service is not OK I remember coming here and it was empty but they asked us if we had reservations and we said no so somebody else came up and was like have you been helped and we said yeah and they sat immediately, so I didn't know what that was about. The sushi was fresh the the noodles were really really good. My only issues was the service and the way the restaurant set up. Got into a really bad accident that sent me to the hospital because of the layout of the land however, the food is.

Have gone during lunch and dinner.Lunch special - anything but the grilled fish boxes are fine. The grilled fish isn't deboned and do not have the patience to sift through bones to get meat. Dinner - Chirashi is my go to, can't go wrong besides classics.Always friendly serviceNever any issue on getting table for walk insAffordable sushi option without sacrificing quality

Might be my new favorite place for sushi in Houston. All the dishes came out with incredible flavors and great textures. Even the miso soup was nice. They offer a nice variety of sushi and other Japanese dishes. The pricing seemed in line or even a little cheaper than other sushi places in the city of the same quality.

Have been going here for over 10 years for sushi. From the bento boxes to their sushi love this spot. Small but welcoming restaurant. Friendly staff. Kids love it too.

Spectacular dinner, no complaints! The food reminded me of Midnight Diner on Netflix -- and that's a huge compliment. Loved the food, service, and ambiance.

Small restaurant with limited indoor and outdoor seatings. Interior is sparsely decorated too. Service was fast, and staff were friendly.I ordered ikageso, Katsu curry, Chirashi, salmon sashimi, soft shell crab hand roll, and sasa dango for dessert. The Ikageso was fresh. It was a good starter dish. Katsu curry came out hot, and the katsu was crispy. Everything was made perfectly. Salmon sashimi was thinly sliced but fresh. Soft shell crab hand roll tasted good. The chirashi bowl had very fresh ingredients, and everything was so delicious. The fish was beautifully presented too. The best dessert to end the meal was sasa dango. It smelled so fragrant, like fresh tea. The sweet red bean paste was so yummy. The dango was super soft and chewy. Absolutely love this dessert. Parking is limited so do come early as seats get filled up fast.

Was feeling a bit snackish and wanted to stop by an Izakaya, but this was the closest offering in the area we were driving past. Decided to roll-the-dice and the result turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The ambiance is reminiscent of a smoky neighborhood in low lighting. Tako Wasabi was okay, but I prefer it at Toukei or Yokushi Robata. I will say, my favorite dish to have tried was the blackened fish, as evident with the half-eaten photo I took. Apparently, it is marinated in soybean paste for 2 days! Additionally, the uni quality was fantastic *chef's kiss* The service was prompt and courteous, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. The staff was knowledgeable and helped guide us through the menu. In conclusion, while this wasn't initially my first choice, I'm glad we decided to give it a shot. The surprising highlight was undoubtedly the blackened fish, making this visit worthwhile. I would recommend to never pass up an opportunity to try a local experience!

Had some good reviews, so wanted check it out. Place had a good size crowd when I visited. I sat on the patio, great sun exposure for photos!Food-3 pieces of Nigiri- sweet shrimp good, Red Sebream- subtle flavor, ok, Eel (unagi)- tasty. Pretty fair overall. I think ppl enjoy the pricepoint here mostly. Not pictured I ordered the sig rolls: Tiger Eye- spicy, but I dig it. Naoki- was just ok. Service - was a bit slow, but I think only 2 servers covering the patio, so I get it. I'm going to presume they were just busy. Service was good when he was present. Mine was patient enough to help me narrow down what I wanted, which I liked.Parking- small lot in the back. I guess you can park at that business next door if it's closed maybe? No street parking, so you either wait for a spot until someone leaves, or go during off peak hours.

It's a cozy restaurant with options to dine in or outdoors (if you don't like the street view and mosquitos avoid patio, that's way one star down). Not much parking space. The staff is nice and welcoming. It's a great place for a decent price sushi with a variety of other options of Japanese cuisine, good for a brunch or a dinner. Overall food is great, worth the try! Also, don't miss the mango ice cream!
