Amazing choice of a Katherine Bernhardt wallpaper for the space. Pure Miami experience that is definitely crowded for Art week.

Located in the Citizen M hotel downtown, Night Swim Rooftop bar just may be your new favorite place you didn't know about. Why?First of all, it is so cute. It gives off tropical vibes. Its run by the same folks that run the Freehold, so you can expect the same fun ambiance you find there. Second of all - they have happy hour every day from 4 - 7 pm. Specialty cocktails are $7. That is quite the steal in this economy. There is also a food menu, that offers both fried and fresh things. We ordered the tequenos as well as the guac. For drinks, I started with the High Dive but had them switch the liquor to tequila. It comes with a sour patch kid garnish, which was great. We went on a saturday afternoon with a large group and it was awesome. This is definitely a good spot to go to before a concert or game at the Kaseya center as it is directly in front and a quick walk.

This was my first time coming here, but absolutely not my last. A friend of mine, Meso, DJs the once monthly party called slow burn here and it was so fun that we stayed for almost 4 hours. The venue itself is inside the citizen, hotel all the way on the top floor and overlooks, beautiful Biscayne Bay and the Miami Heat Arena. They even have a partnership with the heat and if you are affiliated, you can let them know and they'll give you a wristband that entitles you to half off your food and drinks. As soon as you are into retro chic atmosphere with the bar beautifully open air in front of you and two double doors leading to a rooftop pool that overlooks the city scape and gives dazzling lights at night. The food and drinks are even a little bit low for the area, at about $14 per drink, I also tried the truffle grilled cheese, which was a little dry for me, I would recommend more butter. There is lots of seating and none of it is reserved so even my large group of almost 10 were able to hang out together. Additionally, they gave away raffle tickets to the first 50 people to enter and someone in our group one of free $50 bar tab ! It was a great and unexpected little gift. The music was so good, a mix of hip-hop and eclectic future beats, Reggaeton, and more. The place was not too packed, but just full enough to give the party a fun atmosphere. I will be back for the next slow burn!! Can't wait

What a gem of a bar in downtown Miami! We were looking for a rooftop bar and found this place online. We came on a Saturday afternoon, and they were pretty empty - easy to find outdoor seating to enjoy looking out over downtown Miami and the water. It was cool outside and we didn't come prepared for swim, but they have a pool outside as well to take a dip during your visit. Definitely would want to take advantage of next time! They have a wonderful happy hour here! I believe it's daily from 4-7pm, and they do $7 specialty cocktails (which is up to 50% off), beer, and wine. Jack Knife was a great fruity drink. Delicious food options as well.Loved the decor and the relaxed vibe you get outside. Overall, a wonderful place to spend an afternoon enjoying good cocktails and food, a nice view, and potential dip in the pool.

Decided to check out Night Swim for a stop in our girls night. The rooftop bar was fairly empty but they had all the vibes. The music playlist was amazing and made for a great night. It was a bit chilly out, so we sat at the bar. The servers are great and attentive. I ordered the Skinny Dips with a French 75. I loved loved the dips for a healthy late night snack. I did not love my French 75, it was just okay.I really enjoyed the feel of the bar and would definitely return in the warmer months to really enjoy the pool area. I would recommend checking it out if you are looking for a new spot.

You wouldn't expect too much from a hotel bar but night swim was a great place to go prior to our Kaseya center show. Luckily we were staying at the hotel as well but it's walking distance from the arena and it makes parking/getting there way easier. Lucky for us there was a happy hour from 4-7PM that we attended. It wasn't busy in the beginning at all, but as time went on, business picked up (nothing too crazy though). I loved getting to try some drinks and snacks. Both were great. I did love the espresso martini as it was crafted well and reasonably priced. Next time I go I want to swim in the pool. It only goes around 4 ft deep. And there's outdoor/indoor seating for rain or shine. The music was okay. It would be better if they had a live dj all night.

The ambiance is very modern and comfortable with an amazing view of downtown and the Kaseya center. I was staying at the CitizenM for a concert and thought it would be perfect to go to the pool and grab some drinks before the concert. I was immediately greeted by the bartenders/servers and placed my drink order. They failed to tell me that 20% tip was already included in the bill, so i ended up tipping twice and i was not happy about that not being disclosed when i was handed the check. I believe in tipping for great service and was let down about that. The rest of the servers were attentive and friendly. Happy hour is from 4pm-7pm but be sure to double check if your drink is considered "happy hour" special. If you are seeing an event at the Kaseya center, you are eligible for 25% off your total bill, which i found out through the bar's website and not in person.

Came to to have a drink before heading home and stumbled into a comedy show. The gentleman that was at the door asked if i was there for it and told me i could go sit anywhere if i wanted to. I grabbed a drink and enjoyed the show. Service was great and show was great. Plan on being back here again to enjoy the show, the tequeños and the view. The tequeños here are the best ones I've had.

This bar is a must go to if you planning to go to a Heat game or concert at the Kaseya Center. It's right across from the stadium so it's great if you want to catch a drink before the event. I went with my friend before a heat game and they had a great happy hour menu. The rooftop not only had a great view of the stadium but also of the city. The drinks were really good & so was the service. I will definitely be coming here more often now that I found it. Fun fact: If you show them that you are attending a Heat game you'll be able to get an additional discount on your tab.

You need to go here on a Sunday. No ifs, ands, or buts. It's Happy Hour all day and that's what matters the most. Your drinks will be cheaper, and the crowd will be milder, and the pool will be emptier. For $20 after automatic gratuity, it's almost a bizarro world in Miami to have paid that for two drinks and an ambience of ease and calm. It feels extremely weird for such a place to not have a larger following, but it's a wonderful stop along the night for bar-hopping. I'd suggest it being the last one or the first one as the desire to swim (with free provided towels) will overcome you and tempt you to become soaked, which is only convenient if this is your last or first bar. While all that jazz is great and all, I do appreciate the Katherine Bernhardt wallpaper/vinyl adoring the entrance to the rooftop bar. If it's not her, it's a great imitation and and if it's a bootleg, I appreciate it even more. Its playful nature and tropical imagery are a great representation of what Miami is expected to be, only to be rightfully so--this place is a jungle with predators lurking about waiting to pounce on the prey strewn about (aka restaurants and bars that will overcharge the hell out of you and make your visit feel like it was the wrong pit stop along the way). But Night Swim isn't that. It's evoking much more of what the mural and Bernhardt's work does: playfulness and joy. There was no better way to describe the rooftop bar other than a thrill and a pleasure. While I was not expecting Night Swim to be literal, I left with the longing of coming back again ready to drench myself into the night on a Sunday before, during, and after a few rounds of booze.Anyway, that's enough. Catch me here again during Basel week when South Beach is filled, but I desire something a lot better and calmer.
