Yummy Yummy Hibachi

Ordered through GrubHub for takeout, and was seriously impressed! The New York strip was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly,and the scallops were also done well--not overcooked, just the right texture. The garlic rice was amazing--packed with flavor, with a nice peppery kick that I loved. The vegetables paired really well with everything, making the meal feel balanced and satisfying. Plus, the portion sizes were huge, which made it well worth the price! Another plus? The food traveled well, sometimes takeout can lose its quality, but everything held up great. Overall, definitely be ordering again! Would highly recommend if you're looking for quality food with big portions and great flavor.

We ordered a large group lunch for our branch meeting, and Yummy Yummy Hibachi knocked it out of the park! I had the filet mignon and lobster plate, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the garlic rice was simply to die for--hands down one of the best I've ever had.Even though it was a delivery order, the food arrived quickly, perfectly portioned, and thoughtfully packaged. Every bite tasted fresh and delicious. I can only imagine how great the dine-in experience is based on how fantastic everything was. I highly recommend Yummy Yummy Hibachi if you're looking for an unforgettable hibachi meal. We'll definitely be ordering from here again!

I kept seeing the advertisements for the food truck, but found out they actually have a small restaurant in San leandro. We drove 45 minutes just to come here and see what the talk was about.I ordered the trio (filet mignon, shrimp, lobster) with garlic noodles. It was a 30-35 minute wait to get the food, so you definitely know it was cooked fresh. And OMG!!!!! It was worth the wait! The meat was tender and grilled perfectly, and the garlic noodles was noodling : ) The noodles had so much garlic and parmesan on them, that it helped blend the other flavors together perfectly.I will most definitely be back. I might try the food truck next time I am in Oakland as well.

I ordered the steak plate rich comes with the hibachi rice, mixed veggies and a can of soda along with one yummy sauce.I ordered one of each of their other sauces which includes garlic butter, ginger, and teriyaki. I loved each sauce except the teriyaki.The steak was a bit tough but still decent. The veggies and rice were pretty good. Without the sauce the steak is bland. I do plan on coming back to try the other protein options. They had a lot of customers. ORDER AHEAD!!! They make everything fresh.

I've only tried their burritos and they pack em really well. For it to be the one of the cheapest things on the menu, it's hella worth it.

This spot unfortunately doesn't hit like it use too. I never mind waiting for GOOD food but also, I wouldn't want to hear my wait time is 30 minutes then I show up 45 minutes later (15 minutes late) and still have to wait an additional 30 minutes .. Orders shouldn't take over an hour to be ready and if they do, customers should be quoted that wait time so their not outside for 30-45 minutes extra waiting especially for the price of the food here. The rice has a weird taste compared to what I remember, so weird and off that it was bad enough for me to not want to return and I frequent this spot often. The meat also lacks flavor now, before they seasoned it very well and it was worth the $45+ a plate but now, it's like chewing on bland cubes. Same goes for the lobster. The yummy yummy sauce also tasted like it was a new recipe. Overall, wouldn't recommend.

I have been a regular to the Yummy truck in Oakland and have never been disappointed. The standard wait there is 30 minutes and do not mind the wait. I tried the San Leandro location on Valentine's Day for takeout and was told a 50 minute wait which I expected but I arrived 20 minutes late to my pickup time and was told it would be another 20 minutes after I paid. The lobby was full of frustrated hungry people. I saw 3 couples plain out just walk out after told the wait time. I ate the food in the parking lot the meat was over seasoned truly disappointed. I will definitely just drive to the Oakland truck the next time around.

From the Town now in San Leandro, Yummy Yummy Hibachi been showing love to the community & for that I make sure I show love back. They are not stingy with their portions and food is very filling and tasty. I love that they have a store front now and keeping their truck because both are good and they take their quality serious. I get their steak and shrimp plate and they never disappoint.

Amazing sweet lady took my order. I ordered steak and shrimp, she rang up chicken and steak, the chicken was ok, dry and ok flavor, lobster and steak delicious. I requested medium rare it was to an extent but not really medium rare, maybe a piece or two but still good. Worth the drive from Piedmont Ave, they have lunch specials from 12 to 3pm which is great, I added a tail to mine. I'll definitely be back, next time filet mignon and shrimp.

Takes a very long time to get your order.Got the salmon and filet mignon plate and a chicken garlic bowl. Noodles were stuck together and contained just garlic and oil.The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the rice and veggies were good also. For the beef, it's just beef.Will I return he likes it, but I don't worth the travel and time.Should have taken note no one was even ordering or sitting down as I waited 40 mins, just us.
