This place is in front of Starbucks by the Audi dealership. We noticed it a few weeks ago and said we would try it since we love a good sourdough anything!The place is a good size, plenty of seating. There's also plenty of parking here. It's next to Starbucks and a FedEx store. We walked in and we're greeted by friendly employees. The place looks very clean and the employees were hustling. The food tasted great! My salad was fresh and delicious! My Hubby had a sourdough clam chowder bowl. He loved it! They are similar to other big sandwich shops where they have sandwiches and then you pick you fillings. Prices were reasonable in my opinion. If you want something yummy like a soup, salad or sandwich that is fresh then this is your spot! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

January 2025We wanted a sandwich and I heard positive reviews about the WCS in San Jose on Coleman. This location in Fremont is clean and the staff and service are friendly. The down side is the main reason--the sandwich. I picked the small turkey-cranberry sandwich, no substitutions at about $10. It was a tiny 4" sandwich(according to their menu), lettuce leaf, smidgen of cranberry sauce, one slice of turkey folded to fit in an extra large basket. I'm all for small businesses, but I'll most likely seek out a Togos/Subway or other sandwich place to give my $10 to and have a sandwich with more than one slice of turkey.

If you've eaten at CA sourdough or freshly baked, you'd probably (definitely) be sorely disappointed eating here. If you've never eaten at CA sourdough/freshly baked, then you might find it decent. This should really be a 2 star for value alone. The sandwiches (no matter what size) are super tiny/dinky and they're stingy with both the bread and meat/fixings. It's not even a 3" diameter. I'm shocked they offer a 4" size (for $10+!!!) I'd pay twice as much for a CA sourdough sandwich. But in actuality they're similarly priced for twice the quality/grade and twice the amount of sandwich. This isn't an exaggeration.. I really feel sorry for the poor sods that give this place 5 stars

I've never heard of this place before, so I went with some friends after church to check it out! The restaurant itself looks like a deli with very little seating, so it'd be best to get your food to-go. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad with a cup of Cream of Potato (Soup of the day). The food took around 10 minutes to come out and the staff were very friendly overall! Southwest Chicken Salad- The portion of the salad is great and they give you two sides of dressing. I ordered it with ranch on the side. The salad itself has a lot of toppings and I thought the variety was very refreshing compared to the typical caesar salad you'd usually find at a place like this. Cream of Potato- the cup is pretty small, but it's a thick and creamy soup so it was the perfect size! It comes with a side of sourdough pieces (which I was unaware of until I opened the bag). The soup was amazing! I loved the richness of the soup and thought it paired well with the bread. If you're ever there on a Sunday, I definitely recommend trying it out.

Ordered to-go so we didn't stay long. We drive past this place all the time and for the longest time there was never any indication of when they would open. I finally realized they were open thanks to the first person who reviewed here! We ordered the Mac and cheese, tomato bisque, chicken salad and bread. All of it was very tasty so I would come here again! Workers were very friendly and welcoming. Inside was clean. We came when it was raining and we noticed they didn't have a mat to wipe your feet so just be careful not to slip if it's raining. I just tapped my feet outside before stepping in. Overall, yummy food and good experience. I'd like to try to eat inside next time when I get the chance.

I ordered the roast beef sandwich on sourdough. They toast the bread and they don't skimp on the roast beef like Togos is doing now. It's like Togos back in the 80s when they used to make decent sandwiches. It tasted wonderful.P.S.do not expect it to be done quickly as they need three minutes to toast the bread believe me it's worth the wait.

Went in for a pastrami sandwich ordered the 8" with cheese and peppers avocado. All in came out to about $20 + tip. Sandwich was a good size, produce freshness was a 7/10, bread a 9/10, meat and cheese 7/10. Not the cheapest sandwich especially for only 8" would personally rather go to my local Togos. Worth checking out maybe some of their other items are better. Would def check it out and get some other stuff from here.

First time coming here. They have soup, salads and sandwiches. Their sourdough rolls are freshly baked authentic San Francisco bread but you could also get sliced marble, rye, sliced honey wheat and gluten-free rolls - Also available. Their sandwiches that come in 4 inch 6 inch or 8 inch. They do have a kids meal option. five different types of salads Seven types of soups and you could also get them in a bread bowl service was fast and efficient it's a small cozy deli. It's quiet oh and they do have mac & cheese Yum.!

I saw this place a few weeks ago and finally tried it. I ordered the turkey 6" with everything and pepper jack cheese. Make sure they toast it for you! The sandwich taste so much better toasted. My bf got the same thing but added salami in his. We both liked it and will definitely go again.
