Food is fine but like a lot of people have mentioned the service is slow and the workers aren't friendly. I just ordered cheese fries late at night and it took over 10 minutes to make! Only one piece of bacon on top to. When the guy asked me if I wanted some sauce he said it in such a upset tone like he was bothered. I could tell they don't like working there. I saw some other customers giving them a hard time and I think its probably warranted. They need to work on their customer service or get out of that kind of job. I recognize when people don't like their job a mile away.

I saw this all the time going from and to The Fremont Auto Mall, Seagate, and Tesla Fremont Factory. It's so recognizable, distinguished, and in a unique looking building seeing it on the highway. It's in what they say, a good location. To be honest, I haven't had a Wayback Burgers in 4 years. This time, for this one order, I had to get it at this particular location for some reason. I'm sure this is in Milpitas. It seems like I've been in Silicon Valley a lot lately, haven't I? This is another spot closed Midnight or 12 AM. Sometimes Wayback Burgers is as good as In-N-Out Burger, or slightly better to me. I usually got the Cheeeesy Burger, it's a great choice. Simple and classic Cheeseburger. But I wanted something different this time, they got an additional item made available recently that I didn't see on there then that I really want now. There's nothing more All-American than a Cheeseburger. This is the Double Cheeseburger Pregame Box with Tater Tots and a Red Velvet Milkshake. You heard me, I said Red Velvet Milkshake. Red Velvet Milkshake might be as outrageous but creative as Red Velvet Pancakes. Why would you do such a thing like that? Red Velvet Milkshake? It taste like it's seasonal or limited time only. Everything is neat, organized, and clean at this location. It didn't have a lot of people when I got here. It's Monday, restart of the business week and there should be more people here. I'm surprised that it's Halal and when I pointed that out, they were slightly caught off guard and asked me what I know about Halal. I actually know a lot of things about Halal. I guess this is where a lot of Big Tech people go, all I see are city people here. The Cheeseburger is delectable. Everything was fresh and the Beef is high quality and Premium. The Tater Tot is way more crunchier than Sonic Drive-in. And the Red Velvet Milkshake, taste like a Strawberry Milkshake with a hint of Red Velvet in it. I'm also surprised that I can see a real chunk of Red Velvet Cake in it, sensational. I was thinking this was going to be a 4.0 stars, this could be a 4.1 stars on a good day, but I give this a flat 4 stars.

The people here were friendly and I appreciate it.It's a nice clean restaurant with plenty of seats. I tried it twice and found the food to be so-so. I tried the hotdogs first. I asked for mustard and they put lots of ketchup on it. And the hot dog was over cooked. I went back and tried the chicken BLT sandwich. The chicken was cooked perfectly but the bread was soaked in either butter or oil. I'd go again if I were with friends and they wanted to go but that's about it. Lots of other restaurants around.Once again the people here are friendly and I do appreciate that. Friendly service is getting rare.

Wayback's Burgers is the best burger we have ever had, bonus is it is halal. The burger is juicy, bun is soft and has the nostalgic feeling of the all american burger. There are many other options on the menu also. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Love Wayback's unique burgers and my faves are the A1 Steakhouse, Bourbon, and the Rodeo whenever I go.The restaurant always has a welcoming feel including the interior style, ambience and its clean whenever I go there. Today, I forgot my wallet. I came back and Faisal, an honest employee, found it and stored it for sake-keeping, until I came back. I want to thank you for opening a location close to my home; Wayback for their great and unique burgers; and especially to Faisal for being an honest human being and employee! Went along with family really appreciate their friendly service. The way staff take care is really appreciating. Food was great and smell so good and delicious. Ambiance was cool and so relaxing. Definitely give a try to grill cheese burger with garlic fries.
