The Une Union City

Such a cute find! Met one of the owners, Ilene, she took our order, made our food, and made us feel really welcome. We ordered the Une rice bowl with beef bulgogi and the tilapia sandwich. The une rice with beef bulgogi had slices of cucumbers and seasoned slice carrots. The tilapia sandwich had two fillets, tomatoes, cheese on a toasted bread. Both were good, and next time I want to try the shrimp and crab sandwhich or avocado honey toast with ricotta. We had the orange delight which reminded me of the orange Julius and an orange dreamsicle. We wanted to come back tomorrow but Ilene said they're closed Sundays. We will be coming back for sure! Her son owns the thrift sell/buy vintage shoes and clothes about a door down who is really kind as well. The kids went in and bought some items. Thank you Ilene for making it feel like a family get together!!

I no longer live in the West Side Une but sometimes we like to venture out this way to check out new places to eat. We stumbled upon The Une on Yelp and decided to treat ourselves on a Friday evening. We got there a little bit before they close at 6pm.Upon entering, we were greeted by the lovely owner. I wish I got her name! She said that her son owns the shoe shop that's close by. She was super sweet and welcoming. She also has a nice selection of candy for the kiddos, but we want to delay giving our baby sweets until much later haha.We ordered the beef bulgogi sandwich and it came out pretty quickly. The bulgogi was flavorful and the sauce that came with it was really tasty too. The veggies gave it a nice crunch. I enjoyed the cucumber, but the carrots didn't seem as fresh. I also would've preferred the roll to be a bit more toasted, but overall I enjoyed it and would go back to try more sandwiches :)

From the moment you approach this vibrant spot, you can feel the excitement in the air--it's truly awesome!Now, let's talk about the food--it's absolutely AMAZING! My husband had the Bulgogi Beef Sandwich with the OMG sauce, and oh my goodness, I had to steal a bite! It was bursting with flavor and perfectly tender--not dry at all. Simply delightful! I am also an absolute sucker for Avocado toast! I couldn't resist trying the Ricotta Honey Avocado Toast, and let me tell you, it's one of the most delicious combos I've ever had! The interior is so fun and inviting, complete with super friendly customer service that makes you feel right at home!We will definitely be back for more deliciousness! Don't miss out on this gem!!

Finally tried this spot out after seeing all the hype about their sandwiches and famous bear cup! I had two food items, a drink, and a dessert. I tried the chicken dip & pesto chicken wrap. I loveddd the chicken dip! It was super gooey, warm, savory, a little sweet, and just perfect. I'd highly recommend trying that. The pesto chicken wrap was a nice refreshing bite but it's not really my thing in terms of flavor. Definitely needed a lot of hot sauce but my mom liked it on its own! For the drink I got Okinawa Brown Sugar less sweet. I liked it! It was indeed not too sweet and super tasty. The bear cup is rly cute! And the shaved ice was a must-try despite being already stuffed. It was tasty and refreshing for a hot day. The owner was so kind here!! She owns this shop and her son owns a shoes/clothes shop two doors down. They are both so genuine and sweet. Inside of the shop has a few seats and is has nice artwork. This spot really seems to care about their community. Show some support!!

A VIBE!! I'm so thankful for the hosts, I don't even know where to begin! I booked this space for my twins' 9th Birthday Art Party & I'm so happy I did. The esthetic was everything! I didn't need to decorate a thing because of the beautiful paintings & decor. The owner IIene & her right hand Michelle are so sweet & even helped me with setting up. Everyone RAVED over the milkshakes, boba, EVERYTHING! I received so many compliments for the space but I couldn't take the credit! Do not sleep on this GEM! Please show love by supporting this business! From the SERVICE, DRINKS, FOOD & the VIBES you definitely will not be disappointed!

This place was just OK to me! Friendly staff, great music playing, and accomdating space. I got the beef bulgogi sandwich and strawberry matcha. The sandwich was good with the OMG sauce (thanks to the worker's recommendation) but by itself it was missing some flavor. The strawberry matcha was just okay too, it was feeling a little artificial considering they used stawberry syrup for the strawberry matcha. All in all, its not that bad maybe i went on a bad day/also close to their closing hour.

I decided to come here for lunch because I like to support the local spots here. I like that this block is hella ethnic now, which is pretty cool. When I got there, it was hella crowded and the poor cashier was hella swamped. Plus it was hella hot that day. She was moving though, props to her and the chef. I ended up ordering a bulgogi sandwich.There's seating outside and inside. It was hella hot that day with hella people so it just felt the same lol. I had to wait a while, I think they just forgot about my order. The owner was apologetic and offered me a refund. I refused it because things happen and I get it was crowded. The sandwich was good, the sauce was good also. Thanks for the recommendation from the cashier.

Came here on Tuesday at 11:40am. Yelp and the sign posted on their door says open at 11:30am. There was no one in there. The sign on the door said closed and door was locked. I was killing time until 1130am just to grab a quick lunch here but wasted a lot of time and ending up eating elsewhere. I tried calling as well thinking someone was in the back office or kitchen but no answer. Just very disappointed and was very interested in trying this place out.

The Une Sandwich Factory opened where Pure Juice Lounge was. Small seating area inside. 2 tables outside. Minimal decor. Serviced soon after entry. Ice cream came quickly. Sandwich came 5ish minutes.Offerings: good eats, loard's ice cream, shave ice, milk shakes, customized sandwiches, quenchers.Licks: 2 small scoops ice cream (5.5) -small scoops packed lots of natural flavas,Ube & Rocky Road.-minimal sugar, solidly dense, not filled with "air".Eats: beef bulgogi sandwich (13.95)-lotsa sliced bulgogi nicely marinated, bottom portion moist, juicy. Top portion slightly dry. Needs to be mixed more evenly.-natural flava great. Can self add sauces: OMG-sweet & spicy truffle mayo, Hawaii Gold-bbq, Rockstar-cilantro & onion. -includes house mayo, red onions, mustard, lettuce & tomatoes. Yummy comfort food.5 stars quick courteous smiling service. Worthy!

Love checking out new business nearby. Came here with a friend and had a very sweet experience. Surprised to find that this places does desserts sandwiches and boba! Very colorful inside, fun Hawaiian music playing, and our cashier was very very kind! Our drinks came in a large boba bear glass as large as my head. The ube Thai tea has a strong ube flavor to it. Definitely a new concept for me. Hope to come back and check out their food too!
