A dozen delicious oysters, sadly sideways and partially eaten, and in a bit of a shadow, but were so good!

Ack! So excited to have an oyster bar so close to home. As much as I love San Francisco, the traffic, crowds, and parking situation make me lazy to consider heading that way for a fresh, seafood meal. With the Salty Pearl so close by, this is now a non-issue. The restaurant ambiance is cozy and casual, yet elegant. We were here on a date and the warm, dimly lit interior was pretty romantic. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and delicious. We ordered the lobster roll (an elevated version from the food truck variety) with Caesar salad, clams casino, grilled garlic bread, and a deconstructed key lime pie dessert. The salad, lobster roll, and key lime pie were outstanding. The clams casino were really tasty and the bread was simple, but good. We can't wait to come back. Definitely have to get oysters next time. If you order a bottle of wine, oysters are a dollar! I also have my eye on the clam chowder and mussels.

5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the service.Food was amazing. Oysters, trout dip, and lobster roll (with Caesar salad) were standouts. Our server was either frazzled or spaced out or both. He couldn't remember anything that wasn't written on the menu. He asked if we wanted hot sauce/horseradish for the oysters, and then took literally 10 mins to bring it over. Halfway through our meal, he cleared a few plates and asked us if we had more food coming? It was very strange. Otherwise great experience.

A nice little oyster bar addition to Jack London Square. I came on the day they had a promo for $1 oyster with the purchase of a bottle and there was surprisingly no wait. The food was good and I love that they put everything on a giant platter so it looks cool. Service was super nice as well and would definitely come back. I hope they have more promos in the future! I also hope they do add more to their menu as it's not so much a dinner place but a happy hour place with the options.

How cute is this spot! I know a few oyster specialty restaurants have opened this year and I was so excited to finally try one of them ~ the Salty Pearl in Jack London. With ample street parking (metered) we had no trouble pulling up in front and cozying up to the bar. Shoutout to the amazing Thursday wait staff, we had everyone's prime attention :)Lobster roll I would come back for, delicious. Oysters were super fresh and not briny, Caesar was solid, and the Clams Casino...it was my first time trying clams served this way (I know, don't come for me!) and I wanted more umph from the clams besides the buttery goodness of the breadcrumbs. Don't get me wrong, being Italian I love a good breadcrumb, but I think the clams could take more of glimmering center stage moment here. The spot is overall super cute and would love to come back and try the Chowder, Rocky Burger, and any of the local wines from Richmond. I remember when this spot was a pop-up near the Craneway Pavilion, much respect for the beautiful new digs!

I love the concept of the salty pearl: a seafood wine bar. I like the ambiance and space: it's large and airy with big windows facing the street. I like the service of the salty pearl, everyone is seemingly lovely. I like the oysters at the salty pearl. I like the salty pearl lobster roll. Clearly, they have a lot going for them. A few things: I haven't found a wine there that I love, and I tried a few. I didn't love the clams casino which were over powered by the bread crumbs, parm and butter, you couldn't taste the clams. I don't love that there is no happy hour which would help with this place, as it's not cheap. I don't love that the dip and lobster roll come with chips, when I think a more elevated cracker or fries would have worked better. The menu is very limited. With that, the oysters have always been incredibly fresh and as mentioned, I really like the space. It's pricey, but quality fresh seafood usually is.Overall, a great spot to check out for oysters.

Came here on a Saturday evening and really enjoyed the meal. Ended up coming here a second time less than 2 weeks later to enjoy another great meal!Staff and Service:- We came here without a reservation both times and were able to be seated right away (we didn't come during prime dinner rush time)- Every staff member that we encountered during both visits was amazing - calming, patient, kindFood and Drinks:- Housemade sparkling ginger honey lemonade: I was intrigued by this drink, but am not a fan of ginger. I asked about how strong the ginger was and am glad I went for it. This drink is delicious! It's more on the honey lemonade side - quite tart- Oysters: they typically have three types of oysters that rotate (the first time we came had different oysters than the second time we came). We ordered a half dozen both times and found them to be fresh and tasty (this was a delight considering we'd had some not so good oysters recently at other places)- Bread and butter: acme bread with salty butter - delicious- Garlic bread: roasted garlic bread - very tasty and alls with a bit of salt, which added flavor - Lobster roll: this was really good! It came with chips (cape cod chips?) and we asked for it to be cut in half. I'm not a fan of celery, but the celery bits were so small, it didn't take away from the roll itself. Lots of lobster meat, good flavor- Crème Brûlée: the layer of torched sugar was a bit thick (can you tell I'm a Gordon Ramsay fan?), but the flavor was good and the strawberries on top were the perfect addition- Caesar salad: we added boquerones (anchovies). This is not your typical Caesar salad as it doesn't have a creamy Caesar dressing. The dressing was more lemon based, so it was fresh tasting instead of creamy.Miscellaneous:- We would order everything again as everything was so good- Parking is available via street parking and a parking garage across the street

Purchased wine bottle with $1 oysters. Our waitress was so sweet. The crudo was amazing. The music choice kept a nice vibe, not too loud. Unfortunately, I contracted Norovirus. Great date night though

Finally got a chance to try this cute place out on a Thursday evening. We sat at the bar, ordered some oysters and a couple glasses of wine. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different types of oysters, and helped me select the right kind because I hate the big chewy ones. Super cute vibe great for date night.
