Really really good spicy chicken sandwich on Dutch crunch. Being both a lover of spicy chicken and Dutch crunch bread and being a person that enjoys a sandwich, this combination was great! It was a no frills simple sandwich without way too many ingredients, and quite easy to eat and finish in one meal. Was ready to pickup in 10 minutes. I would rate it 4.5/5. I would've liked a bit more chicken given the price but quality was good and the chicken seemed fresh, so no complaints. Parking is also available in the complex.

The customer service here is great - we were told before ordering how long the wait would be so we could decide if we still wanted to order (it wasn't terrible - 20 minutes when they were pretty busy).The sandwiches were flavorful and they had lots of different options. We'll be back for sure

I love finding new sandwich spots! Came here for lunch and while there was a line, they worked fast to get you in and out! They have lots of options in the menus: Don's Signatures (will try next time), Deli Classics, Veggies Tri Tip, Entree Salads, slides (can choose to have combo which includes chips and drinks, one or two sides, any have sandwich) I tried:The California: hot turkey, bacon, cheddar, avocado, yellow mustard, olive oil, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and pickles ($12.49) on Dutch bread! Bread options: Dutch crunch, San Francisco sourdough, soft French, whole wheat, asiago cheese *in my opinion, Dutch Crunch is THE supreme bread for sandwiches Sauce options: mayo mixtures, ranch inspired, barbecue infuse, herbs and spices * i love that it's in small containers and not added to the sandwich Lots of parking!

Solid sandwich place in Mountain View with excellent service! Came here to pick up sandwiches to eat on a hike. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich.. and wow, they really do know how to make a sandwich spicy but flavorful! Be prepared for it to be a little messy. I like that you can choose the bread to get it on as well; I got it on sourdough, but they have other options like dutch crunch! I do wish the sandwich had a bit more of the other toppings, but it was still delicious nonetheless. When we checked out, they also gave us 3 cookies on the house: 1 chocolate chip and 2 peanut butter cookies. Super nice of them and showed me that they cared for their customers. I'd love to try some of their other sandwich options next time I'm back!

3/13/24The Don's Deli2105 Old Middlefield RdMountain View, CA 94043I was in the area so I stopped in at around noon on a Wednesday. It's a small sandwich shop in a strip mall at the corner of Rengstorff and Old Middlefield Way. Parking was okay for the small mall with two rows of spaces. It was busy with many people waiting to pick up their orders. Don't plan on eating in, I counted 7 chairs for the 3 small tables.I ordered Don's Original Tri-Tip on Sour Dough. The sandwich was hefty with a good amount of thinly sliced beef with a subtle teriyaki flavor. The quality of the meat was good with no fat and tender (for Tri-Tip). It was a little chewy but I expected that. It was soaked with dressing and messy, don't attempt to eat in your car.You order and pay at the register and wait for your name to be called. The sandwich was tasty and a good value. It's repeatable.

Welcomed by friendly staff! Small place with about 2 places to sit inside. Good size menu to choose from with reasonable priced menu. There were 3 of us in the area for work and each had a salad and sweet potato fries. Fries should've been a bit crispier but love the sweets, and they were still delicious! Salads were robust & flavorful!

Long day traveling and we were hungry. My belly is being loud so we stopped by The Don's DeliWe entered and were warmly greeted. The insides aren't fancy but its clean without being sterile. The menu is on the wall and east to read. This so important when you are trying to function on three hours sleep Back to the menu- So many options to try and all sounded delicious. I opted for the falafel salad because we also had dinner plans. So glad i did. The salad was large- i couldn't finish it. I really appreciated the dressing on the side. The falafels were crisp on outside and fluffy on inside. Quite flavorful. The dressing i selected was cilantro lime and we also got a sample of spicy ranch plus another one i can't recall the name of. Really good stuff The sandwiches looked tasty two but my son and husband scarfed them down. Definitely worth returning to

Don't let the presentation fool you, the sandwich is as good as it looks!!! The workers are very kind and welcoming, they serve fast and efficiently. I ordered the Chicken Chipotle Sandwich and I've had the Dirty Bird Sandwich several times before (it is good every time). The portions are good for the price but you might need another one given how delicious they are. Your tastebuds are in for a nice treat at John's Don's Delhi Sandwich. There might not be enough space for a lot of ppl inside but it invites you to enjoy the outdoors as you enjoy your meal. 5/5

I've been here a few times, but I don't recall what I have ordered. All the sandwiches I have tried were alright. I wouldn't say there's any element that stands out compared to other places. A problem I have with the place is that they stack the middle with ingredients. The fillings taper out towards the ends of the sandwiches, so only the middle half of the sandwich has a good amount of ingredients. Last few bites of the ends are just sauce and veggies. Also unfortunate, they don't have a public restroom or at least a sink to wash your hands. The sandwiches are a bit saucy and they don't wrap the sandwiches to eat cleanly.
