Large and popular sports bar. Great place to catch a big game because this restaurant is very specious. You order via QR Code on the tables which is also very efficient and effective. Food and drinks tend to come promptly. The food is also pretty good for a sports bar. They have some new drinks that are unique but they are all very good and well balanced. I particularly liked the Long Chai-Land Iced Tea which was really unique but I enjoyed it.

Good place to grab a casual drink in downtown Oakland!My friend and I came by Friday night around 11 pm for a quick drink after a concert nearby and it wasn't too crowded. There are a lot of TVs all around, so I can see this being a popular spot during games. There are also a couple of pool tables that were popular and always in use while we were there.I had a frozen margarita for $11 and my friend got a pilsner for $8. Both drinks were pretty good, though the margarita tasted a tiny bit off somehow. But for the price I can't complain.

Came here after work a few times with coworkers who are here for a team offsite and this place never disappoints. It does get a little busy if there is a big game going on, but we usually go early enough to snag a table. Food is so simple but actually pretty good, and it hasn't disappoint! I just wish I was able to eat more lol. They servers are pretty quick, you scan a QR code at the table and order through your phone. Once your order goes through they bring out your orders, and you can even pay your tab via phone. Vibes have been great, people that go there are also great and very respectful. Would come here again if I'm in the area

My brother, wife and I came to the Athletic Club for lunch. When we came into the restaurant we were greeted by staff. We had to wait for a little bit for a table to sit. I ordered a margarita for drink 1 and Paloma spritz. Both drinks were good and very refreshing. We ordered the jerk and hoisin glaze wings, garlic fries and AC super nachos with chicken. The wings were good but my favorite was hoisin glaze wings. The fries were really good and delicious. The start of the meal was the nachos. The nachos were phenomenal and very delicious. The ambiance is customer service friendly. This is a good place to go watch the game and the food is good.

We came here to watch the game on a Sunday. We had margaritas, 2 types of wings (hoisin and jerk), garlic Parmesan fries and nachos. All but the jerk was amazing. The margaritas were on point. Just know the place gets really busy for game day and it's first come first serve for seats. Also you order on an app after scanning at your table. We had some delays with getting our food and had to order a second time. Loud place but to be expected game day, security at the door will card you and not let you bring any beverages in (I had Starbucks). Good times and will come back

The salad was pretty good and is filling. It comes with a lottttt of bacon (which I had to pick out because I didn't realize it came with bacon.....) and lots of blue cheese. The bacon and blue cheese was at the bottom of the dish, so you can't see it in the picture. This is a great spot to watch a sporting event. There are a lot of tvs, but not so many tables. It was enough seating to come for dinner and watch a regular season, Saturday warriors game. The staff isn't very attentive, and they will definitely leave you be. Friendly though.

Smooth spot me my boi pulled up for some drinks chill Thursday night and next thing I know they have us free food I guess they were making a video. The carnita tacos were fire!! Margarita drinks stiff great place definitely coming back

Oakland Athletic Club has a cool, sporty atmosphere. The food is so-so, but where they shine is their drinks - good quality, though a tad pricey. It's a great spot to meet up, good for couples and small crowds. Solid 4 stars for the vibes and the drinks!

Apparently this bay area sports bar prioritizes playing Dallas cowboy games over warriors games, despite multiple people in the establishment requesting to change the channel and audio of the bar. Throw in a rude waitress, and I have little reason to ever return to this place. Unfortunate because it's a good location
