Such a cute little spot in a great area! Amongst a busy area, this place managed to settle in a quiet little spot off of Campbell/Bascom, right across from the Pruneyard. Just opening when we got there so there was plenty of seating as we were the only ones for dine-in. Very Home-y inside and comfortable. We ordered Vegan pad see ew 10/10 honestly one of the best pad see ew's we've ever had! Great portion size for price and thickness of noodles was perfect!!! Would order again! Yellow curry 10/10 only feedback is that we wish we had more!! Perfect potato texture and the side of rice was a healthy portion for $4. We are excited to try more things on their menu!

This place is still such a great choice for delicious food and friendly service. We usually order take out but decided to dine in for a change. There was a bit of a wait because we weren't the only ones craving Thai cuisine on a Friday night, but that is to be expected. Once we were seated, we got ice cold water and menus. The restaurant is small (cozy), there was a small heater circulating warm air and dim lighting. All in all, welcoming with good songs playing in the background. Since it's still close to the holidays there was even a tree and some lights up.We ordered veggie fried rice, pineapple curry, yellow curry, and pad see ew. Since we were with someone that couldn't handle spice we only went medium spicy for one dish. I found the medium to be mild but our waiter brought some hot sauce to add a bit of heat and flavor. Food came out promptly and was super tasty. I didn't take any pics because we were just focused on eating! We had enough leftovers to carry us through another meal the next day. Love Thai Orchid, and will definitely be back.

Food was tasty and service was friendly and kind.My friend and I both got the pad Thai. It had the right balance of flavor, came out quickly, and was certainly a portion we could have shared. Our server was really attentive and helpful. He also asked if I wanted to add spice on the side and I did! It came with jalapeño pickles, some Thai spice packet, and a sauce. It was perfect :)So thanks Thai Orchid. I'll be back.

My family came in on a weekday around 6. We waited around 5 minutes. We ordered the tom yum soup, pineapple fried rice, and the pad see ew. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The tom yum was very aromatic. The fried rice was nice and wasn't dry at all. The noodles were nice and soft and flavorful too. Service was nice and friendly. They were quick with taking our order and bringing the food out. The seating was interesting. There were two rooms? separated by curtains? The restaurant is definitely on the smaller side but that didn't bother me at all.

This is our 'local' Thai restaurant. Before pandemic we would eat at the restaurant. Now it's almost always takeout. But it's still with the same regularity. That's because sometimes you just want to eat comfort food, ya know. Anything here that's exotic or standout? No not really the menu is your standard American-Thai restaurant menu... pad Thai, pad see-ew... but the food is always well executed. The takeout service is never a hassle. The vibe of the place hasn't changed much over the years. Still small, warm, cozy. Plenty of parking away from the crazy crowd of Pruneyard.

The food was good, portion sizes were great. I wish the dishes were priced a little lesser even if that meant cutting the portion size a bit. We had the house fried rice with fried tofu, drunken noodles with vegetable and a side of fried egg. My feedback is that there should be more veggies on the dishes and also $4 for a tiny fried egg is too expensive. The service was really great, the waiters were very sweet guys. The ambience was very dark for my liking.

Quite a lovely Thai spot just next to the Pruneyard. The vibes are nice; it's a restaurant transformed from a home with lovely decor. I ordered the spicy catfish and my partner ordered the Lad Na. Sauce was a bit watery and flavor was just ok for the Lad Na. Flavor profile and fish were well cooked for the catfish but felt it was still missing an element to take it up a notch. Excellent service. I probably wouldn't come back for the Thai food specifically but overall a nice spot.

The food was good and on par with other Thai restaurants we have tried. Prices are decent and the portions size is acceptable. What we didn't like was that it was very dark( with minimal lighting) when we went on Saturday night. No it didn't feel romantic either! They seriously need to upgrade the inside and put a bit more lighting or provide table lamps. Where we were sitting, the kitchen was right there so it felt very casual. Maybe inside would have been a bit better. While I understand it's a house converted to a restaurant and some people can like that feeling, for me, a bit more upgrade can really work as the food is good. Otherwise it would be a pass for me with so many restaurants around that serve similar food with better ambience.

This little Thai restaurant has been around for a long time, I've been visiting since the 90s when I first came to the Bay area. It has a great selection of Thai food and the setting is very traditional and comfortable.I had a delicious Seafood Pad See Ew along with a Thai Iced Tea. The service was very nice even though I came just as the restaurant was closing.
