relatively good Korean food. I tried the dolsot bibimbap. No complaints. Tasted as expected. I do wish that they gave more Bonchon though.Service is good and fast. Friendly. Ambience is a casual diner. If you're looking for some Korean food in the area, come here

I believe it is the best Korean food in Pleasanton. I like their beef bone soup, and tofu soup. If you dine in, you would get multiple side dishes. They are delicious too. The service is quick and great.

4.5/5: My 2nd time coming here. First time, I remember getting their ox tail soup because I have never had it and the flavor is underwhelming. Maybe it's a good soup to have when you are sick because the soup tasted bland. Haven't had this kind of korean soup before so I can't compare.Seafood pancake: This is the reason why I came back to the restaurant. It is so good! Crispy edges and has plenty of seafood in it. I think it's their batter that sets them apart. I get the cold noodles also and it was decent and as expected. Seafood tofu soup I tried a little bit of was lighter in flavor than I'm used to for tofu soups.Service: Amazing! They work pretty quick too. We came at an odd time but the place had quite a few customers.

First time ever having komtang and this did not disappoint after a long day of snowboarding! You get to season the broth to your flavor profile with the salt and red pepper paste they provide on the table. I actually just use the kimchi goodness from the banchan and add that in my soup; it was very tasty. The kimchi and daikon came out first and they were spicy! But it was too good to not stop eating. Our friends ordered the seafood pancake and it was perfectly crispy with a generous portion of seafood. Absolutely delicious. They only had one front of house server manning the place and he did a phenomenal job on a pretty busy New Year's Day. We received our food relatively quick after he took our orders. He was also very attentive too! It's a small mom and pops type of restaurant, but they're able to accommodate large parties. There is a wait when it's peak hours, but the wait is worth it.

Had surgery few months back, I needed something nutritious and easy to digest to nurse myself back so i thought of Oxbone soup, in my mind its the best remedy for healing and regaining strength, bonus being its so yummy. My to go came with rice, kimchi, hot peppers, green onions and salt for flavor. I didnt use salt as the soup itself tasted perfect on its own. I felt so nourished after just a few sips, lol. It was very good. I've had both chadol and combination Komtang, both are good but I think i prefer the chadol slightly. Service is quick and friendly, place is not big inside but clean. Menu has good variety of Korean dishes. Plenty parking in the plaza. Thank you!

Excellent little find in Pleasanton!Stopped here for some Korean food after a movie this afternoon around 3:30 PM. We were craving soft tofu soup, and this spot hit the mark. The restaurant isn't huge but spacious enough for small groups. The menu is straightforward, and if you're not familiar with Korean cuisine, they provide pictures to guide you. There's plenty of parking since it's located in a small strip mall. Plus, it's just 5-7 minutes from the main mall if you're looking for nearby dining options. We ordered: * Soft Tofu Soup with Beef * Bibimbap with Pork * Terra BeerThe Soft Tofu Soup was spot on! We both loved it. It had great flavor, huge chunks of silky soft tofu, and tender slices of beef. The spice level was just right. It's the perfect comforting soup for a chilly day.The Bibimbap with Pork was also excellent. It arrived sizzling hot with a perfectly cooked egg on top, packed with flavorful veggies. The only downside was the burnt rice at the bottom, which made some parts of the dish inedible. Aside from that, it was a solid dish.We paired everything with a Terra Beer, which was absolutely delicious! The two ladies working were very friendly and provided great service.I'd definitely return to try some of the other soups on the menu.Remember to eat local and support small businesses!

Whenever we crave Komtang, we would come to Seoul Komtang. We came here on a Friday night. It was very busy but we were able to get a table quick. Service was fast and we got our food very quick as well. We got chicken bibimbap and didn't know it's spicy! I wish there's a non-spicy choice for that.Komtang was as good as usual. Highly recommend this place if you want Korean near Pleasanton!

Decent service but food lacking in flavor. It was busy in this small restaurant on a Wednesday. 2 cooks and one lady. The lady waited tables, took orders, answered phones, worked the register and bussed tables. The tofu soup with beef had no flavor. Wasn't spicy, the broth was almost like water. The beef had no seasoning. I also got the bulgogi fried rice. The egg was over cooked, no running yolk. The beef was the same as the soup, lacking in flavor. Kudos to the lady for working hard. I won't be back.

Really wanted seolleongtang and my friend recommended trying it here. I ended up getting #1 Chadol Komtang ($17), though I was eyeing the nang myun too. Banchan consisted of radish and kimchi and tasted really fresh, not overly spicy. The chadol komtang had lots of broth, noodles, and brisket. They definitely didn't skimp out on anything. I added pepper, salt, and green onions to my taste, though not too much so that it overpowered the bone broth. The soup is very light in flavor but tasted really good with a bite of everything else. The meat was tender and not tough at all. There is also a side of rice to enjoy with the soup. It was the perfect meal on a cold day and was really refreshing. Staff was nice and the interior was clean. I'd definitely come back to try other items.

Best korean food in the tri-valley! The galbi tang is flavorful and my fav dish here. I've also tried their katsu, seafood pancake, boodae jungol, and tofu soup here and they were all good. Authentic flavors. Service is good and pretty quick. Sometimes there is a wait, but it's worth it.
