best turkey sandwich on the island. the price is really great value for the quality and quantity of what you get.the ladies are very nice and accommodating.

It was my first time here and I'm newish to the area. They immediately welcomed me in and offered guidance. The other customer there was also praising the fresh turkey they serve. I ended up getting the turkey on sliced marble rye. It was crafted perfectly, none of the fillings came spilling out and the turkey lived up to it's praises. The chip selection was nice also, offering flavors like all dressed lays.

I absolutely love my go to turkey bacon avocado. Irs always so delish but today it was extra good just such a fresh full bite everytime. You get your choice of bread I recommend white roll but they have many other options like sliced white a wheat roll or sourdough. If you choice the fresh roasted turkey you can get all white meat, dark meat or mixed. Their Everything consists of mayo mustard lettuce onion picked and pepperccinies... extras are sprouts jalapeño cranberry or avocado.

The sandwiches are super legit here at sandwich board! Wait time is good and the quality of the food is always on point. I was introduced to this hidden gem many moons ago but recently started to revisit and they never fail. If you're looking for a great sandwich for a reasonable price, this is a good spot to visit.

I've been coming here for 20 years! THIS is the spot for a killer REAL turkey sandwich. Mike, the owner cooks turkeys every damn day! The bread is always fresh as are the condiments. I have never, ever had a bad sandwich from this place. Soda selection is good as are the chips. Side dishes like potato salad/Mac salad need some work.note: gets super busy mid-day! :) love this place!!!

As an unofficial sandwich king, the sandwiches here are slightly above average; the reason for 3 instead of 4 stars is that I'm not a huge fan of turkey sandwiches. If you are a turkey person, this place is a solid 4, however. Overall, the price point is solid for Alameda and they generally are fairly quick from a service standpoint.

Best sandwiches on the island by a mile, and they're reasonably priced to boot! Can't go wrong with any of their turkey sandwiches--Colonel Jim's is my favorite, but I'll go for the Susan's Special when I want a slightly "neater" sandwich (no avocado to squish everywhere). I also dig their Poor Boy, which is a whole bunch of different cold cuts. Always go for the dutch crunch! Parking kind of sucks, but that isn't their fault.

Best sandwich spot in Alameda. They have Dutch crunch bread which is my favorite way to eat a deli sandwich. Obviously what sets this place apart is the fact that they roast their own turkeys daily so you can get your Thanksgiving leftover experience all year around.Located in a prime spot on the main island, it's easy to access. Service is quick, they pile the ingredients high, and there are chip and drinks options. You will have to enjoy your order on the go, as there is no seating area inside.

Been coming here for years a local fave, even though I moved to a different city whenever I'm in alameda I come and pick up a sandwich. Susan's special ftw and the owner is super friendly as well! Sandwiches and customer service are great what more could you ask for.
