I've lived near for the past few years and I've always by this place. I decided to finally give this place a try. I love the complimentary garlic bread.Snapper Veracruz (3/5): This comes with a tomato sauce. I dislike tomatoes for it didn't sit too well with me, but the fish was good and great with the garlic bread.

I kept seeing this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try. There's a large parking lot in the back, which is convenient. The restaurant itself is small, and seating is self-serve when you walk in. However, with minimal staff, service was noticeably slow.I ordered the clam chowder, Cajun crab, and pasta with vegetables. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste fresh, and the flavors were underwhelming. The crab had a strong, putrid ammonia smell, making it completely inedible. I sent it back and chose not to order anything else. My date had fish and chips with a side of clam chowder. The chowder in the bread bowl was decent, but the fish lacked seasoning--overall, just okay.We also ordered margaritas, which tasted like overly sweet Slurpees. The server later explained that they don't use hard liquor, only wine, which explained the odd slushy taste. It felt a bit misleading, but we paid and left.Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I wouldn't return.

Ambiance is nice and spacious plenty of parking in the back. Service was quite short handed as there was only two and we had quite a bit in our group but also the restaurant filled up after an 40 minutes. It is definitely not their fault but we never got refills. It was difficult to get anything like sauces, lemon, or anything else. Food: clam chowder was very bland, fish sandwich had a THICK pieces of tomato and so it was more of a tomato sandwich then fish (bland as well), calamari had lots of chunks so there were parts that were crispy and some soggy. Potato wedges are random cuts of red potatoes fried and unseasoned. Not sure if I'll be back.

I saw a Tik Tok ad for this restaurant and decided to make a stop. The ambiance is what you would expect in a minimal cost seafood restaurant. The prices on the menu are surprisingly affordable. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller and a clam chowder bread bowl with fries. They had lobster and steak for $37, but I was not in the mood for that much food. The oysters Rockefeller were not that great. They were a little burnt and the sauce just didn't have the flavor I am used to for this dish. The clam chowder was not very flavorful, although the bread was tasty. I was actually disappointed with the chowder and did not finish. The service was pretty good and the waiter was friendly. I was hoping, for the price, this place would be a good option for seafood. However, the food was just not very enjoyable.

I became aware of Rosy's Fish City when a video of their Lobster Fries dish showed up on my Facebook feed. I knew I had to try it. My opportunity came when my wife suggested we try someplace new for dinner so off we went. The menu is full of interesting choices besides seafood dishes though I did not find Lobster Fries on it. I asked the waitress and she explained it is an off menu item but she would be happy to make it for me. My wife chose the grilled Salmon Tacos. It came with rice, vegetables and a cup of White Clam Chowder. My Lobster Fries was a massive plate of goodness. Fresh, hot fries topped with cheese, shrimp and carne asada and a nice sized grilled lobster tail. The portion size was so generous that we both have enough for tomorrow's lunch. I'm putting Rosy's Fish City on my family favorite list.

The seafood we had was pretty delicious! It was a special item, featured in their digital menu. We had a bred bowl with fries/stake/shrimp/lobster and clam chowder on the side. It's like a "surf n turf" with some extra items. We also had giant oysters as appetizers. Service was a bit slow but they were friendly. The restaurant filled up quickly around dinner time.

The social media hype is pretty and very appealing; appealing enough to get me visit. I thought it would be fun to go and support a local spot on the east side. People are kind but the food is just O.K. It is not the mariscos I was hoping for.

The margarita was absolutely delicious. The clam chowder bowl was seasonless. The I don't even know if that was a real lobster tail, but it was very, tasteless not seasoned and overcooked. The oysters were not fresh and it tasted like it was frozen and they ran it the oysters underwater they were tasteless. The little combo was absolutely disgusting. It was burnt pieces and other pieces didn't have batter on the calamari was so chewy and no seasoning. Every one was extremely friendly and nice.
