Already been here a hand full of times and had always had a good experience.Pretty much come by whenever I'm in the Bay. They are conveniently next to all Filipino things so I purchase what I can never get in my area. They had made a small deals bag for mamon which I get when getting mamon ever since they created the option. Which is $10 for a number of smaller sized mamons. Sorry really forgot how many it's either 8 or 10 but I definitely think their regular sized mamon is way better which they also have a special for when buying a certain amount, one would be free. The smaller sized mamon doesn't taste as so so delicious like the regular sized but I get it because it's a deal and most of the time we don't finish one right away. I usually eat half and eat the other half later in the day or it goes to someone else. I love the ube mamon even if I don't get a few I'll at least get one.I always got their meal special for chicken empanada that comes with a soda can and chocolate cake for $5 but i finally tried a beef one which isn't included in the meal special option but just individually. Yummy as well although I might go back to getting the special meal deal if it is available because it's such a great deal. The empanadas are all delicious I'd have to say.I had yet to sit down here and eat but the small location still has seats for their customers to enjoy their treats. I did try their halo halo but it wasn't my favorite in adding to my must get when here. It was really creamy sweet, kind of like a milkshake. Will have to pass on that. I did like that it's available during all seasons though because I've gone to a Filipino spot before during the winter and asked for halo halo but they said they only make it when it's hot. When it's hot to me it melts right away but I'd still get it and when it's cooler and it doesn't melt so fast I enjoy it most.

Probably unfair to compare the cakes here to the ones I grew up with in the Philippines, but it was just okay. We got the cake for our Thanksgiving dinner and the texture was a bit spongy and the mango was so sour. I do like the other little pastries there but safe to say I was disappointed. I'd love to come in and try more of the other selections though.

I ordered the set meal with palabok and a cake slice. The palabok was very salty to the point I couldn't finish it. The ube flan cake I chose had nice texture. I would return to try more cakes.

Absolutely disgusted. My partner was eating/sharing a butter mamon with me and after taking the first bite he stated "it tastes weird" and put it down, something told me not to try it and I'm glad I didn't given I'm pregnant. It was covered in mold when he fully removed the plastic to take another bite. Thank God he removed it before continuing it and eating more mold. Can't believe this is what their selling. It was well within the expiration date as well. Picture attached below

After lunch at Grill City, we were in the mood for dessert and we headed for Red Ribbon, which is in front of the building next to Jollibee. Staring at the display case of delicious cakes and their offerings of sweet pastries, we saw that they offered halo-halo.Since it was very warm day, we opted to get halo-halos. After ordering, it was ready very quickly. The bottom of the cup had fruits, beans and milk with a large amount of shaved ice in the middle and topped with a piece if flan and a whipped mango topping. I stirred it up with my straw and gave it taste. From halo halos, I've tried, this one was short of some ingredients, ube - purple yam and langka - jackfruit. Also, instead of this whipped mango cream-like topping, I've had it with a scoop of ice cream, usually ube, on top. So this halo halo did not wow me and was not comparable to memorable ones that I've tried. Maybe next time, I try one of the delicious looking cakes.

I got a cake for my friends baby shower from here, and everyone absolutely loved it! I love how they are able to take orders online, schedule a pick up time, and even write your own custom note on the cake. The only downside was that it wasn't ready by the time, but honestly the cake was so worth the wait!

Red ribbon offers a simple menu, but it seems like they're expanding their offerings. For instance, they have ube lattes, avocado shakes, and more! I didn't get to order any of the drinks because I only had room for halo halo. However, I'd love to come back and try it out.The halo halo was just right. It was not extravagant and just satisfied the craving. The quality of the ingredients were better than other fast food joints. For the most part, I would say red ribbon is my go-to spot for all Filipino treats and baked goods.
