I ordered some veggies slices from here and they were SO good! I ordered two because I didn't know how big they'd be - I wasn't able to finish both! They were loaded with veggies - mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, a good amount of cheese and sauce as well. It was also seasoned very well, so it wasn't like some places where it tastes like nothing. The service was pretty quick, though I did call ahead. The shop is small, so I wouldn't suggest big groups, but the pizza is just as good when you get it to go. One of the best parts, $6+tax!We've also ordered a HUGE pizza for my kids school event before and they did not disappoint. Will definitely be back!

Our favorite neighborhood pizza place. We decided to get pizza one night and when we got there they were just about to close up but re-opened and made us a pizza.The owners are always nice and friendly, they're a great local business!

We're lucky to live down the street from Pizza express. We order from here once in a while when craving pizza. Our orders usually take 30 mins, which isn't too bad. They have an outdoor area but it's nothing nice. We recently got a cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom extra large pizza. $30 for 3 toppings extra large. Recommend if you want quick pizza to enjoy at home.

I love this place. And, I love my man BJ, the owner. I've been a customer since I moved to Castro Valley back when he had both stores. The pizza is hot and tasty. And, everybody needs to order the Grand Daddy once in their life. The thing is gigantic. I needed my wife's SUV to pick out up and bring it home!!!!!

If you want the biggest and the best pizza in the area, this is definitely the place to go. I remember when I first moved to Castro valley, one of the drivers drove up to the house and gasped when he had learned the old homeowners had moved and we replaced them. Gave us a very warm welcome to the neighborhood -- mind you, the first of our neighborhood to really welcome us, so that was quite a great service. Come several years later, we're still ordering pizza from pizza express as simply put, there's no better. My favorite is a traditional thick crust supreme pizza with tomato basil with pepperoni, ham, sausage, linguica... etc. A slice of that with a cup of ranch is just perfect.

First time at this establishment. My kids were looking for something quick to ear after practices. The. Gentlemen that works here was nice and friendly. Appreciated that he washes his hands before preparing the slices. We placed an order for 4 slices of pepperoni. Small parking space out front. Takes cash and card Slices are almost Costco sizes. The kids enjoyed this pizza over Costco pizza. We would definitely like to come back.

After school is let out kids go across the street to get 99 cent pizza. There is a big sign that says 99 cent pizza. If you specifically don't say you want the 99 Cent Pizza. They will charge you full price. Or the owner's wife will tell you no sales tax. Knowing very well that these kids who are from the ages of 12 to 14. Don't really understand that they are being scammed for pizza. Because the price just went from 99 cents to $4 a slice. As a good business owner went a student walks up and says I would like the student discount you would ask the question do you mean the 99 cent slice. Instead of selling them the no sales tax ploy and or not asking them. So everyone check your credit card statements and ask your kids how much they are actually paying for pizza after school. They are ripping off middle schoolers and high schoolers. Not trying to serve the community at all
