This spot trends towards 3 or 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up due to the friendly service and simply for the wild notion of there being a bar at Ranch 99...in Fremont of all places.Came here during a non-busy time so the vibe was different had we come during peak hours. Yes, it's located in the modern food court of the newish Ranch 99. If I recall correctly, we ordered some hot sake along with 1 or 2 other drinks. It was a little trippy as our bartender was a lady wearing a Ranch 99 apron - I felt both awkward and also had a woah moment realizing I was ordering at a bar inside a Chinese supermarket. If I'm remembering right, a normal Ranch 99 receipt printed out after paying so there wasn't a spot to tip. If that's accurate, bring some cash for tips. The drinks we got were just hot sake and canned booze, so we can't really comment on the quality of actual mixed drinks. I can't recall the variety of drink selection, but don't think it was extensive and the menu was mostly prepared drinks like beer, wine, sake, fruity canned booze, etc. There's food court style seating, making it nice for small or bigger groups. It would be nice to have more of a bar-like ambiance, but there's probably only so much you can do since it's laid out in a food court atmosphere. Overall, it's nice to have another booze option in Fremont. Don't think they're open super late, but it's a chill spot to grab a drink during normal hours.

Piju Social Hour is located at the end of Ranch 99 Eatup food court. Many tables and a long bar available for seating. No decor. 2 flatscreens-one for sports, one for financial news. Single barista on duty.Offerings: sake, wine, draft beer (local Ipa, Japanese, onibi beer-Sacramento). Snacks provided by Hot Deli nearby. Happy Hour 3-6: buy one, get 2d 50% off.-Sips: Onibi Matcha Cream Stout (6.99) 16 oz. 6.1%-had a nice creamy head initially. Shortly foam melted, leaving stout beer.*4 other pours from Onibi also available.-matcha flava too subtle, overwhelmed by stoutness. Smooth brew thruout, no harshness.-barista very helpful, explained what ipa's available4.5 cool place to hang out. Few drinking spots in the area.

Who would've thought that there would be a nice bar inside Ranch 99? Looks like it's just soft opening right now with their Thurs-Mon 3-6pm hour. The bartender was nice and knew how to make her drinks properly! I love that they have a lot of Asian options that I haven't seen anywhere else. They have a sake machine and a variety of Asian beer and wines. We tried two drinks - the pear ginger saketini and a Korean soju fruit lunch with pineapple juice and blue curaçao. Super well mixed and tasty. Dangerously good 10/10 Their hours are very limited but I hear they're going for have more mixed drinks and snacks soon. Don't look past it! Check it out

Been wanting to come here ever since I saw the signage on the front of 99 Ranch, but I could never get off work in time to make it. Finally I had a day off where I could check it out! It's located in the back of the food court in 99 Ranch btw. We sat at the bar and we immediately greeted by the female bartender with a small container of salted peanuts. Honestly the best peanuts I've ever had and I wonder if they sell them in 99 Ranch haha. Anywho, we went with the Pear Ginger Sake-tinis from the Summer Cocktail list and OMG were they good! Super light and refreshing on a hot day. Had another round of those and after we decided to split a pitcher of sanria(was also on the Summer Cocktail list). Also SO GOOD! I'm not sure what her recipe was, but it was delicious. There is a small food menu you can order from at the bar, but you can also just bring your own food from anywhere in the food court to the bar too. The drinks were also BOGO 1/2 off since it was happy hour. So happy this place is open and can't wait to come on my next day off. :)

This bar is going to be banging with Tesla employees nearby and other companies who want a drink and get some snacks for social. I will try this bar with friends, and have a get-together pretty soon.

This place is great! It's located in the back of the food court in Ranch 99. Everything is clean, there's a lot of space, and TV's playing sports. There isn't a large alcohol selection but what they do have is interesting and tasty. I tried a matcha cream stout that was pretty great, and a fizzy sake jello drink that was kind of miss. There's virtually no advertising (no Google listing or claimed Yelp listing) so it's not at all crowded. As per the first review, the bartender took my payment by card at the end of my time. It's a great space and I'll definitely be coming back. The hours (according to the bartender) M Th F Sa Su : 12pm-8pm Closed Tu We

It is surprisingly to know there is a Bar in 99 Ranch supermarket! It's nice to come during the happy hour (buy one get one 50% off)! I ordered Long Island last time when I visited, both my friend and I love the place since the price is pretty good!

New bar that opened up within 99 Ranch in Fremont. Limited menu at this time but when speaking to the bartender, I was informed that there will be greater selections in the future. I ordered a Chu-Hi Grapefruit sparking seltzer and Matchi Cream Stout Onibi beer for my boyfriend and I and were pleasantly surprised with the unique selections we chose. Peanuts were provided at no cost but chips and other snacks would not be free. We were charged using a 99 Ranch payment terminal so I am assuming that it is under the groceries category instead of restaurant for those with certain rewards credit cards. Since we went during grand opening, it was not busy at all. Overall great experience and will be returning to try their other drinks.

5 Stars! It was fun!Was in the area and heard there was a bar inside 99 Ranch--what?! Had to check it out.Piju is a cute little bar tucked in the back of the food court. While they don't serve hard liquor, they offer a solid selection of sake cocktails and sake by the bottle. My girlfriend and I grabbed some food from the food court and brought it over to enjoy with our drinks--such a great setup! The highlight? The super nice lady in a 99 Ranch apron, who made every cocktail with freshly chopped fruit per order. Talk about attention to detail! While the cocktails looked great, we went all-in on trying different sake bottles instead.Definitely a fun and unexpected spot to grab some food and booze while grocery shopping. We'll be back!
