Honestly they have the best concha's. Don't trip. Go there and be satisfied forever.

I wish I could have had a better experience. The lady working was so rude. I came in because my friend really missed eating conchas from her home town in Mexico and I told her I'd bring her some. I've always known about this place because I live close by but never stopped in. I saw the great reviews and was a bit hesitant to come because it wasn't on the east side. Wasn't sure if the reviews were biased if you know what I mean. In any case, I stopped in since it was a 2 minute drive versus a 15-20 minute drive to the east side. Everything looked great and I could have been fooled I was on the east side and not in Almaden Valley.All I wanted was some help and suggestions on what else to get besides the typical chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla conchas. She was of no help and seem irritated and wanted me to just get in and out. Sure I understand that there may be a few other people waiting to order but I was there at the moment and buying a few, not just one or two. Being nice goes a long way. Now I may never come back. It's too bad because my friend and her family loved them!Reading some of the bad reviews, it seems as though this older lady shouldn't be working with customers. I'm sure it's the same rude lady I had help me.

I grew up on East side San Jose, where there were plenty of panaderias near me, so I was a little hesitant trying this place. A couple of years ago, a relative bought some for us to try, and it's been one of my top favorites in SJ. I even had some ordered for my baby shower just so I can share my favorite pan with my family. I usually come in the mornings and I'm greeted right away. I'm in and out in just a couple minutes. It's always so bright which helps you get a great view of their big selection of bread. Whenever I'm in the area, this a must stop.

They kinda remind me of La Vic's breakfast burritos when they were good instead of the caca that they are now.*Housemade tamales (didn't try, but a co-worker recommends)*Small lot, but usually plenty of parking available The Meh:*Cash onlyThe Ugly:*Neighborhood is kinda sus, especially those apartments along the backside. TLDR: Good pan dulce and even better burritos.

What a great little spot. I am typically not a fan of the Panaderias but this one is different. I was eager to try their champorado which multiple reviews were raving about. Sadly, they were out and I got the hot chocolate which was different and very good. The cupcake was moist and tasty, not too sweet. The lady who helped me was super nice. She did not speak English and I do not speak Spanish but we still had a very friendly exchange. I wish them the very best. I will be back to try the champorado for sure.

So yummy! My first time visiting a Mexican bakery and I will def come back. I ordered a white concha and hot chocolate and my boyfriend got a large pink swirled pastry. Our total came out to $6.75 which was very reasonable. I believe they only take cash.The service was very nice, pastries were delicious and the store was very clean. 10/10 recommend.

So authentic and amazing pastries. Everyone loved them and all the employees were so kind even though I didn't speak Spanish, they made sure I got exactly what I wanted. It wasn't extremely busy when I went, around 10 am, and still had everything I wanted.

Service awful. Walked out after 8 mins. Language a barrier to customer service. NOT pleased with being egnored.

Lady behind counter this morning was EXTREMELY rude! Very impatient. Never coming back.

The pastries and cookies are amazing here! Fresh and delicious, all the different goodies here perfect. There are many items to choose from and they are all so good!!
