Been getting food here for months now and my family loves it. They just give so much mac salad, katsu, and just overall value for 15 bucks.I got the regular katsu for about 15.50 and it's essentially two meals in one. They have a stamp card (10 stamps for an equivalent item).Highly recommend if you're craving Hawaiian katsu stuff. Service was pretty fast too.5/5 good value.

3-ish stars rounded up; better than L&L but not by much.Had the half & half meats combo with BBQ chicken and chicken katsu. Fairly tender BBQ chicken but there was a slight bitter burnt soy sauce taste to it. Over-fried chicken katsu: super crispy but I felt the grease in each bite. Decent meat portion. Skimpy on the mac salad, which was a bummer since I enjoyed it (nice macaroni bite and not too mayo-gloopy).Indoor seating available but for some reason this small area at the shop wasn't lit well. Finding lot parking wasn't too bad.

Not sure if we came at the wrong time. We drove from Saratoga cause we couldn't settle for L&L. Was craving this place and they didn't deliver the same quality as before. Got a chicken Katsu. Didn't come with katsu sauce.Without the katsu sauce, this dish is meaningless. Just fried chicken. Got a meat combo and with short rib and chicken katsu.. again no katsu sauce and only 1 pc short ribs and an abundance of chicken katsu to enjoy with no sauce. Got the garlic shrimp combo with fried fish. Fish was lacking flavor and only serve us 5pc garlic shrimp. LOL... for $24. Wild. And the garlic shrimp definitely taste way different than how it was before. Did not taste like the Hawaiian garlic shrimp at all. Just deep fry shrimp tossed in garlic that I can do at home. No Katsu sauce definitely ruined the meal. The skimp on shrimp and short ribs was another down fall. Was our fault for trusting them as a mom and pop shop and not checking our bag while leaving. Spending roughly 90$, L&L would never. And we gave them a hefty tip cause we were so excited for dinner. Smh. I know this might come off as overdramatic for some chicken katsu sauce but imagine sushi with no soy sauce, tacos with no chili salsa, Wingstop with no ranch!

Food 5/5High quality Hawaiian bbq place. Tonkatsu was crispy. Garlic shrimp was nicely seasoned! Portion was huge. I split it into 3 meals. Service: friendly and polite. Ambiance: not too many tables inside but most people order to go.

Casual plate lunch takeout type spot just like ones in Hawaii. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3Cost to worth it rating: 3 Return worthiness: yes Highlights:- Loco moco: tasty patty and brown gravy I kept going back for. 4.25 stars - Garlic shrimp: didn't expect them to be breaded and fried but my lightly and shrimp was springy and not overcooked. 4.25 stars- Spam musubi: fresh and tasty. Well seasoned but not too salty and rice wasn't crusty. One of the better ones. 4 stars- Kalua pork: lots of cabbage to cut the savory pork. 4 stars - Kalbi: bit salty and chewy but good flavor. 3.5 stars - Combos: lots of different variations you can string together. Also can sub broccoli for mac salad - Fridge of Hawaiian Sun canned drinks: for the authentic experience Midlights:- Not friendly staff which you usually expect Lowlights:- Far from where I live so won't be able to go so often - Inside: few tables to eat there but very cold inside Solid Hawaiian food would come back to if I'm in the area.

I've gone here a number of times and am so shocked I never got the chance to write a proper review. For starters, I've become a frequent visitor with Olioli Hawaiian BBQ because the food is so good!! The portions are generous, the flavors are delicious, and the meats are always well prepared. Meats are moist, flavorful, and tender. Dining and seating inside is available but can be a bit hard since tables are limited. Service is prompt and my orders have always been pretty accurate. My go-to meals:-The BBQ Mix that included bbq beef, chicken, & short ribs. -Hawaiian BBQ Chicken5/5 stars. Extra points bc Olioli's mac salad is consistent and doesn't have off days where it's unbearably salty like another establishment.

I came because I saw a review that said this is better than L&L's and I'm glad I gave Olioli a try! Friendly and fast service, amazing portions and very reasonably priced Hawaiin food. Definitely want to come back again to try their other offerings. They have a pretty expansive menu and you can stamp a card for every full entree you purchase. I tried the kalua pork, BBQ chicken, and chicken katsu. The kalua pork had a bigger cabbage:pork ratio than expected, but otherwise flavor was great! Pork was on the dryer end. I prefer the BBQ chicken at L&L more; the BBQ chicken here was marinaded to be a bit too salty and didn't have much of the BBQ flavor. They pile on that chicken katsu like crazy! Breading is well done, and the chicken was a bit on the thinner side. It felt like I was eating a lot of breading but it tasted solid overall! Definitely not dry and was crispy-crunchy-juicy goodness! The katsu sauce is amazing-- I'm not sure if they make the katsu sauce in-house, but it's delicious! Not the best hawaiin food, but given the price and quantity with decent quality, I will surely come back!

Olioli Hawaiian BBQ first caught my eye when it landed on Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in the Bay Area in 2024. I'm a big fan of Hawaiian BBQ, but I've grown tired of the mediocre quality being served up at other BBQ places in the South Bay. I won't name who I believe to be the biggest offender but I will say it starts with "L" and ends with "L" and there isn't a whole lot in the middle...Located in a random strip mall in Berryessa, Olioli is honestly not much to look at but don't let that keep you away. The interior might be small but the food is the real deal. I ordered the Mini Kalbi Short Rib Plate and it was exactly what I've been looking for. The Kalbi itself was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly tender. All the sides of mac salad, rice, and shredded cabbage were also excellent and in perfect quantities to match the kalbi. The mini serving size was quite generous and easily left me satisfied for lunch, though if you are big eater or looking for a sizeable dinner portion you may want to go for the full size. The only downside of Olioli Hawaiian BBQ is just how far away it is from where I live, otherwise this would become a go-to spot for me. Even so, I hope I'll have another opportunity to come back here soon and dig into some truly quality Hawaiian BBQ.

Small little shop that serves Hawaiian comfort food, no frills, just good food! It's mainly a takeout spot but there are also a few tables if you want to eat there. We ordered at the restaurant and it was around a 10 min wait, next time we will probably call-in the order ahead of time.We ordered the Chicken Katsu and Garlic Shrimp Plate. The portions were huge, they really provide you with a decent amount of food. We shared both plates among 3 people and still had some leftovers. Both plates were enjoyable and it really satisfied our cravings.
