Great spot for lunch. They were busy but the food came out quickly. Tried the impossible lumpia, nacho fries with chicken and a Baja shrimp taco. All the food was delicious and flavorful. There's metered street parking in the area, you may have more luck on smaller side streets, also saw some parking garages in the area.

This place has a nice atmosphere, with a casual feel and substantial tables (including some interesting marine hardware as decorations) with bar stool seating. The service is fine for a casual spot, typical walk-up to order and then get your name called. Good selection of beers and other booze.I wasn't at all impressed by the food: the crab fried rice was totally lacking in flavor, as were the crispy tacos. They do offer tiny packets of hot sauce, and I had to put six packets on my food to give it enough flavor to be worth eating. The crab fried rice serving was also small.Overall, if you don't mind flavorless food, this place is not bad, but I won't be back.

I ordered three pork tacos from Oakland Street Food through DoorDash, and I'm extremely disappointed. Right after placing my order, I called the restaurant to request no onions and cilantro on my tacos. A woman answered and assured me she would inform the cook. This was before my order had even been prepared.Unfortunately, when my order arrived, all three tacos were loaded with onions and cilantro. Now I have to throw them away because they're completely inedible to me. This was such a waste of money and incredibly frustrating. What's the point of me calling ahead if my request is going to be ignored? I had high hopes, but this experience was a huge letdown.

Overall, Oakland Street Co. was a solid lunch option, just a hop skip and a jump away from hotels around downtown Oakland. Ordered some asada quesabirria tacos and a fish taco, as well as the loaded tater tots. Not sure if I would order that battered fish taco again, not sure if it could've been better more fried? It was definitely a lighter brown... The asada was the best one. Tots were hella filling. Didn't finish it up. Location is convenient, large sharing tables, heart of downtown. Would I come again? Probably for a quick meal!

Ok, i'm fat. I ended up here THREE DAYS (count 'em) -- THREE -- days in a row to chow down on their delicious food. I was too in my plates to take too many flicks, but that just means I have to stuff my face here one'moe'gin. I was able to try their quesotacos (pollo/carnitas); their chicken wings (garlic/buffalo)-- their buffalo was my favorite-- & I had their tatchos (tatter-tot nachos)... soooo good. The service was awesome! I think by the 3rd time they started to recognize me, lol! The actual ambiance/interior was super laid back, but pretty cold each time I went since the door was open. Also the entire spot is pretty small so I ended up sharing a table with folks I did not know each time. Overall, I had a delicious experience & def can't wait to circle back the next time I find myself in The Town (and will take more pictures next time)!

This is a goto place for uncomplicated good eats.I have a few places downtown that are always good on the taste buds when all else fails, and this is one of them. Many of my favorite spots have closed or changed business hours so I can't frequent them these days. I came across this place a few months back and they haven't failed me so far. Formerly CamBurger it's under new ownership, with new food and a cool new interior. My favorite item on the menu is the Baja fish tacos (love them!), I've also had the chicken wings, shrimp over rice & the Garlic noble shrimp which are all great. That staff is pretty cool & fully friend which goes a long way in Oakland or anywhere. The interior is clean, well decorated and has a plush plant vibe going on.Cheers!

Our first time at the spot was severely disappointing. At a grab and go spot, we usually tip after finishing our food. Obviously, the cashier wouldn't know that but regardless, we were caught off guard by the cashier. The cashier was absent from the register for quite some time. As he returned, there were 8 people behind us. After finishing up our order, we sat down. As we sat down, the cashier announced that it'll take 20 minutes for our food to be ready since we did not leave a tip. Ignoring the next customer, it was like an announcement to everyone behind us even though we already had sat down. Once our food arrived, we couldn't finish the food. We left our food. It wasn't a welcoming atmosphere. I understand the American tipping culture as we always tip but a cashier begging for tip in this way makes me question the wages offered to the employees by the establishment. I wouldn't recommend this place, or return.

My boyfriend and I live super close to this restaurant and on a whim decided to try it one day. We are so glad we did as the food here is so good! We tried the brussels sprouts, gumbo and the teriyaki chicken with garlic noodles. Everything was delicious. My favorite items were the brussels sprouts and the garlic noodles. We are definitely going back! The restaurant is a quick walk from the BART station and was a very easy place for take out.

Food was delicious and a cool blend of menu items with Mexican and Asian inspired dishes. The impossible lumpia were crispy and delicious. Wish the garlic noodles had more of a garlicky taste or sauce. The totchos were good and had a good orange side sauce. Inside could have more chairs than stools. Definitely a good place to come with a group or take to go. Service was quick and fast.
