Came with some coworkers to celebrate a new addition and we found everything to be great! All the servers were really nice, truly felt very comfy and the food gave off home-cooked vibes. We ordered the galbi, bulgogi, dweji bulgogi (spicy pork), some chicken wings, a stone pot bibimbap and beef tofu soup. Everything was flavored perfectly and the meat was super tender.Special shoutout to their kimchi, this might be one of the better kimchis I've had. PS: they also give out sikhye (rice punch) at the end of your meal!

This restaurant is located in Fremont right off the 880. Lots of parking, restaurant size is a good size and easy to find. When you go inside the staff greet you kindly and seat you right away. The deco is nice and simple and very clean. Food seems kind of expensive but the portions are big so I honestly think it is worth the price. If you go during lunch time they have great combos. Again, it may look expensive but it is a lot of food.I have been twice since they reopened under new management and both times it has been great. Here is what we had:Galbi and tofu soup: can actually feed two people, nice tender meat with really good flavor and the combo tofu soup was delicious and really filling tooTofu cheese ball: it is very interesting, I actually likes it but it has a specific texture of crunchy outside, to mushy inside then cheesy in the middle.Veggie pancake: this was ok. My family liked it but I am more into the pancakes that are not very dougheyStone pot Bulgogi bibimbap: just like the regular one but has nice crispy rice at the bottom of the stone pot. Amazing flavors and very fillingDakguee (chicken teriyaki): nice tender meat comes with a side of rice. Can serve up to 3 people especially with the banchan they provide.I will definitely go back and try other things and suggest you try it out too.

Ordered: - Steamed tofu- Yang nyum chicken- Chicken katsu Experience (3/5 stars):*Food: steamed tofu were bland, needed to use a lot of the dipping sauce for flavor. Yang nyum chicken was crispy and had a kick to it. Chicken katsu was good, wasn't dry and it also came with a side of tofu salad. *Price: spent ~$66 *Service: goodOverall, this place was okay - wouldn't come back.

Love this place!Four of us order too many: tofu soup, galbi, onion pancake, and a stone pot bibimbap. They were all wonderful to the point to stuff all of us.The steamed tofu, however, were really too bland, even dipped with the provided sauce. Otherwise, they would have earned the 5th star from me.The spicy scale was on the low side. If you want your dish hot, ask for higher rating than your standard gauge.

Wow haven't been here in over a year and the menu and restaurant have been updated! It's more modern inside with lots of seating, and the menu has a lot more variety. The service was super quick and there's a button to call the server. They have great side dishes and offered a free tofu one.The seafood pancake is a must. As for the pork bone soup it's a bit on the plainer side, but that's expected and it comes with seasoning on the side. My friends for some of the other soups but those were on the saltier side so need the free rice it comes with. All of the soups are great for the cold weather! They also have a free dessert drink at the end. Will definitely be back.

The newly renovated dining area is so beautiful!Service 5/5 - Very friendly and attentive service. There is also a call button on every table. Half fried chicken & yang nyum chicken 5/5 - The wings were so plump! The yang nyum sauce was sweet and tangy, not too spicy. Seafood pancake 5/5 - Always a must to order. Bulgogi rice cake 5/5 - I actually didn't expect this to be a soup, but the broth was very flavorful.

They went through a remodeling and came back strong I thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken katsu - the breading is like something you'd get in Korea with the homemade sauce. Also, a side of tofu salad?! Yes, please, and thank you. Their side dishes were - marinated fish cake with fried tofu, pickled veggies, and two types of kimchi - radish and cabbage. I also tried the gambit + tofu soup, which were both good and piping hot! Looking forward to being back to try other things on the menu. :)

TL;DR: friendly spot with comforting Korean food but prices were high for where it isMom's tofu house has had a recent facelift, I noticed that they were closed for a bit and have since reopened with a brand new, bright and airy interior. Service is friendly and you can call for service whenever you need it with the handy button on the table. The menu is pretty extensive, with most of the classics you can imagine. From the signs on the wall, they make their own tofu for the restaurant but I was interested in the pork soup since you don't see it at too many places.Pork soup: this was served with purple rice on the side, as well as chives, chilli paste and salt. The soup was pretty flavorful already so I didn't really need the salt, and warm and comforting and quite rich. I was surprised that the meat in there was pork belly, I thought it might be a different, more meaty cut like shoulder. Nevertheless, this was yummy.Spicy pork stone pot: everyone loves a good stone pot with the crispy rice! They had oiled this pot well so the crispy rice came off easy and was delicious with all the crunchy vegetables and spicy pork. The banchan provided was ok - they had fishcake, soy sauce onions, bean sprouts, some green vegetable, and 2 kinds of kimchi (Napa and radish).Honestly the food was pretty good and I would go back if the prices were lower. But for at least $20 per entree, I found the spot quite pricy especially since there are many more affordable options in the area.

Very thoughtful and friendly staff. The waitress specifically brought the kids decaffeinated tea. The complimentary pumpkin juice was a little sweet, but full of pumpkin flavor!Seafood pancake: 5/5. It was the best seafood pancake I've ever had from any Korean restaurant. Must have!!!Kimchi fried rice: 4/5. No complains. I liked it with a little egg on the top.Chicken wings: 3.5/5. Lightly battered. Not too salty, but tasty enough. Be warned: very hot (temperature hot)Will be back for other items.
