Hands down the best mochi that I have had in the area, and one of my favorite desserts in general in the area. The raspberry millefeuille and apple pie have crunchy cereal pieces in them so those particularly are texturally just perfect, with the soft chewy mochi and buttery cream inside are the best. Other favorites are the mango, white chocolate, caramel custard, and strawberry shortcake, though I haven't had a flavor that I didn't like. I also love how the flavors inside don't overpower the flavor of the actual mochi, which does have a subtle flavor that I always love. They come frozen and I like to let them thaw before eating, but they store super well in your freezer too! They are definitely expensive but honestly so, soo worth it.

I tried the mango mochi at Mochi Cream, and unfortunately, it was pretty underwhelming. There wasn't anything particularly unique about it that would make me want to come back. The texture of the mochi could have been softer--it wasn't as delicate and chewy as I expected. The filling was a mix of mango cream and a bit of mango purée, but the purée was barely there. I kept wishing there was more purée to give it a stronger mango flavor and make the overall experience more exciting. Without it, the flavor felt a bit one-dimensional and unsatisfying. The execution didn't quite hit the mark for me. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't memorable enough to justify another visit. There are better options for mochi out there.

The matcha cream bun was really good. I got 2 mochi: the Caramel pudding and the peach yogurt. Get the caramel pudding. Skip the peach yogurt

Located inside Mitsuwa market. You fill out on the sheet of what you want and give it to the staff to get for you. Quick and efficient process. When you get the mochi it's still quite hard and cold from where they store it. I got the uji kintoki and double mango. The matcha color was a bit pale green and didn't have a strong matcha taste so I wasn't really impressed. Overall, it's okay. It's more of a cream filling and not to be mistaken with ice cream.

I love mochi, and found this little mochi shop called MochiCream inside the Mitsuwa market. There's a variety of flavors, and everything sounded so delicious! You can buy them individually or in a gift-set of 6 or 12. I picked 6 different flavors, and my top favorites were honey raspberry, matcha, and mango! The mochi texture was spot on - soft and chewy, and the cream inside was not overly sweet. Yum yum!

If you're a mochi fan, this is the place for you. Hands down the best mochi I've had in the Bay Area. You can tell how high quality the mochi is from the texture and taste. A lot of store bought mochi just doesn't have that good real mochi flavor, but this place absolutely does. They also have a wide variety of interesting fillings. Some of my favorites are the raspberry Mille feuille and the apple pie. It's a counter service located inside of a grocery store, so there's no wait time once you're there. The only downside is the parking lot outside of the grocery store, which is a nightmare to navigate and find a spot. But honestly the mochi is so good that it's worth it.

I really wanted to give this a 5/5 because of the cleanliness, service, and aesthetic design on first impression. However, our mochi was hard and stale.

This is a cute little mochi shop located inside Mitsuwa. They have a small store on the right side of the store when you walk in. Since it is in a supermarket plaza, parking can be tough to find if you go during busy hours. To order, you mark off the flavors you want on a slip of paper. We tried the Banana Chocolate Mochi, Black Sesame Mochi, Double Mango Mochi, and White Chocolate Mochi. My favorites were Double Mango and White Chocolate. The quality is so good and the flavors are all so delicious. Each mochi is around $2.60 which is pretty good due to the good quality. When you get it, you have to wait 15 minutes before eating so they can thaw. I held it between my hands and it was good in around 5 minutes. If you are a fan of mochi I definitely recommend trying this place. It is so good and I will definitely come back to try different flavours.

If you like mochi then you need to give this place a shot. It's not exactly the usual mochi, but they are really good. They are mochi with cream/fruit filling versus the bean paste. The taste is amazing, but the only drawback is that they come frozen and you have to wait a bit before eating them. Still, mighty tasty, just have to wait a bit before eating.

I have been to this Mitsuwa before and have picked up sushi and other sundries. I should have paid more attention because that would have brought me here sooner. Mochiceam is the real deal. Double mango and peach mochi FTW.
