Mi Quang Co Thao

Ordered DoorDash and it arrived fairly quick since it's not too far away from home. The noodle soups came pretty hot and ready to eat! We ordered the:- Bun Bo Hue: 3/5- Chicken Glass Noodle Soup: 3/5Unfortunately, both noodle soups looked a lot more appetizing than it really tasted. The broth on both soups ran saltier than we would like. The quality of the meat was mid; almost tasted overly cooked but delivery was fairly quick so I would expect it to taste better. Definitely will need to try this spot again but in person to give it a proper rating.

Quiet spot on 4th street. Limited parking in front but plenty in the back. I came to pick up the food to go. Service was friendly. Got the chicken mi Quang. Which was 4 stars delicious. Chicken had great flavor and I loved all the veggies it came with. Yummmy. The vegetarian mi Quang: was ok. The toppings were decent but can't say I would want to try it again. Overall 3.5 stars but round up to 4 for the veggies (freshness)Please note, I did take my order to go so not sure if that affected anything.

We decided to stop by since we needed a place to eat at before leaving the SJ area, and this happened to be nearby. My nieces got the spring rolls and enjoyed them. I got a vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken, which was flavorful and not dry. Also got banh beo, which I have been craving for so long. The interior is nice. The workers are friendly.

This place served the best banh beo ever!I got the Mi Quang with pork and shrimp. The sauce and tumeric noodles were perfectly soupy and saucy. The banh canh cua had so much real crab in it!! It also had the pork blood cubes which brought out so much flavor. This place also gives all the garnishes, including banana leaves, mint, perilla and cabbage + limes. The lime-ade was made fresh in front of us. So refreshing on a hot day. I highly recommend this place for banh canh, mi quang, and banh beo if you are ever in SJ.

Ðà Nang fish cake vermicelli and Bánh Bèo 10/10!!! First time here and everything had lots of flavor. I willBe going back very soon and possibly my new favorite spot

I just got the bun Bo hue from mi quang, I would say the broth is flavorful but it's not as spicy as I want it to be. I added two big spoon full of spice and it was perfect. Legit found a place near my work and something to help my hangover. I was skeptical of getting a bun Bo hue from a mi quang spot but it was worth a try. The place was somewhat hidden but inside it was clean and the staff was friendly.

My second time because their Mi Quang Ga (M1) was very good first time I was here. Their chicken broth was tasty goes well with the turmeric noodle that has nice texture. It was still good this time but I believe they raised the price, it is now $16.95 for most noodle dish here and they are smaller portion (didn't get full without appetizer) so overall pricier than other Vietnamese restaurants. Also their chicken this time wasn't fully cooked and pink inside, so I left most of my chicken. service was fast and the place is spacious so there are many seats available on weekday lunch. I didn't try but my friend liked his BBH.

This review is only for their Bun Bo Hue. They're located kind of off the beaten path, in between small commercial businesses. This is not a restaurant where you will stroll right past. Parking is easy enough.The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and pretty large. There is a makeshift stage with some audio equipment. Looks like they're set up to host karaoke or maybe they host party events here. The Bun Bo Hue is surprisingly really good and the last time I had their BBH was last month(to go order). The broth is rich, spicy, and not too oily. Everything in the bowl is what I would expect and there is even cubed blood, which is not always in BBH offerings at other restaurants. Service is fine overall. Hidden North San Jose gem on 4th Street for authentic Vietnamese food.

I'm sure I've had Mi Quang before, but since I don't remember, I guess it really didn't rock my world. I'll remember this Mi Quang, both the dish and the restaurant. The visual presentation caught my eye, and the taste caught my taste buds. I didn't know there were so many types of the dish so next time I'll have to try the M1. Oh yeah I'll be back.

Took 15 mins just to get water after we sat. Our appetizers came out faster...we just asked for water. Definitely needed it to go with the extra spicy fish sauce served with our Banh Beo. "Da Nang style" Mi Quang was the WROST I've ever had. Dry package ramen noodles would have taste d better & has more flavor than the Shrimp & Pork Mi Quang I had here... OVERCOOKED dry pho noodles colored in yellow dye, extremely overly peppery shrimp, pork & thin liquid flavorless "sauce" was a sad excuse for the broth for this traditional dish. Banh beo was good, but that's was the ONLY positive thing about my experience here. They charge for Togo containers. As the price for here is for here only. As patrons we cost them more to give us a container Togo. Try charge us for Togo containers WITHOUT telling us until after we paid. It WAS NOT on payment screen that Togo containers were being charged on our bill. No sure what's keeping them open the last 9 years the staff is boasting. Awful! Would not come back! Paid $35+ for an entree, and appetizer. Would not recommend! Restaurant looked clean, music was LOUD. Couldn't even hear my mom sitting right across from me.
