Just looking back at my reviews realizing it's been 4 years since my first and I still look forward to a meal there. The staff is friendly and service quick. The restaurant is small and with the bakery, seating has almost doubled. Today, they opened their new Panaderia. I arrived around 7:30 am and the place was packed. The display cases, full with various Mexican breads and goodies. I picked a Concha and croissant looking treat. Both were perfect with my coffee. Light & airy, flavorful. Definitely worth the stop. The selection is pretty good and they offer coffee and Mexican Hot Chocolate. You can sit inside and enjoy your pastries or get them to go. I'm definitely going back.

Unfortunately this place isn't the same - everything we tasted was a little blander than I remember...The 4 salsas were not spicy - if there was heat, then it's like 3/10.The California burrito does not come with avocado or guacamole - I'm not sure I've ever seen anything called 'California' without avocado. Both were disappointing

I went specifically for the Chili Verde breakfast. The Chili Verde was on point! So good. Nice and tender and flavorful. The eggs were fine, as were the rice and beans. I was a little disappointed with the homemade corn tortillas. They were a bit heavy and tough. Service was friendly. You order at the register. I got bottled OJ, and they give you a ToGo cup to serve yourself coffee. They had flavored creamer, which is a plus. It's a taqueria, so I'm not going to judge it as a sit-down restaurant. It's a fine taqueria, and based on the EXCELLENT, DELICOUS Chili Verde, I will be returning to order some tacos, burritos and flautas some time. Oh and panaderia looked good too. I would definitely recommend Lupita's.

This review is only for a takeout breakfast burrito (this item was Americanized for sure) that I called in and picked up on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were prompt and polite.$11.25 BREAKFAST BURRITO3 scrambled eggs with potatoes, cheese, and your choice of meat: ham, chorizo, bacon, sausage.Burrito tasted good with freshly cooked eggs, the cheese (probably Monterey Jack) was melted well and the ham was a solid choice. It tasted kind of like a McD's egg McMuffin, but in a tortilla and w cheese that was more mild and savory, less salty and synthetic. But the size was so small for a burrito! There were barely any potatoes and it felt more like a Taco Bell size than a proper taqueria size burrito.I also asked if they could mix a combo of the meats, and was told I would have to be charged for every kind of variation so I just stuck w the single option. It comes with a small bag of chips and a side container of salsa. It would've been nice to have sliced avocado in the burrito, but would've cost +$2 extra for just 3 slices.Be aware that any extras will cost you - whether it be pico de gallo, lime wedges, chips, salsa, etc. (which are typically free at most taquerias). Photo attached to this review w full list of prices per extra condiment. If they offered a better value for this item in both amount of food and ingredients, I would get this more often; but for the price, it was skimpy.Be advised this plaza is kind of run down, surrounded by late night drinking spots, liquor store, restaurants and parking is quite limited so it's probably not as convenient during rush hour meal times and days.

If I have a bad experience I'll usually avoid writing a review because I feel running a restaurant is so difficult. But before I describe the "bad" I want to say the two ladies working there were very very nice and their service was nothing to complain about. But this experience was so bad I need to get this off my chest. I think I just had the worst burrito I've ever had in my long life. The fact that it was at what looked like an authentic taqueria made it even more surprising & disappointing. I ordered an Al Pastor Super Burrito which was served wrapped in foil. Half the flour tortilla was cold to the touch so I asked for it to be heated up. When it finally returned it turned out to be the most bland tasting Al Pastor I've ever had. I barely ate half before giving up. We also ordered guac & chips. Their guac is more like a creamy store bought salad dressing guac. It could've been out of package and may not have been made with actual avocado given the consistency and lack of flavor. The salsa that was served with the chips was without any spice and more like a weak tomato soup. My daughter had a carne asada kids burrito. It was equally bland as mine. We had glasses of water for our drinks but the water tasted like soap. We were eating late and closer to closing so they started mopping the floor. Nothing like the aroma of floor cleaner to top off a meal. But there was another positive, sort of. My son had a bowl of Albondigas which looked really tasty. Loaded with meatballs. It was served with chopped onions, cilantro & a small cup of Spanish rice. But be careful if you're sensitive to msg as there was an urgent trip to the bathroom when we got home. Although we didn't buy anything, there's a large display with a wide variety of bakery items that looked really good. But I won't be back to give those a try.

I ordered the tamale plate with jalapeño cheese and chicken. Fresh and filling with the side of beans and rice. I love the variety of options on the menu both for the restaurant and panderia. Great customer service with kind, helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Everything looks clean inside this restaurant and service was top notch! The lady at the register was super helpful in helping us purchase our foods. After taking things home - the food was decent but not amazing. It's good if you're looking for something nearby with decent pricing but nothing I would in particular go out of my way for.5/5 for service and seating. 3/5 for food. Will be coming back if I am looking for a local Mexican food spot.

Located in a strip mall with limited parking. All the of spots here have reserved parking for customers of each establishment. Not much shade for the hot summer day we came here but not much you can do about that.We ordered at the front and sat afterwards. Looks like there used to be a salsa bar, but no more. There is a self-serve water station.I got the chicken super burrito with no sour cream and my boyfriend got the carne asada super burrito with no sour cream. They brought out some free chips and salsa right before the food came out. Chips were nice and crisp. Salsa was yummy. There were two customers waiting for their to-go orders and two other dine-in tables.Food didn't take too long to come out. They gave me a knife and fork, but my boyfriend didn't get any. I didn't notice til I finished eating, odd.Neither of us got any guac in our burritos, even though we ordered the super burrito. We just assumed that it wasn't well-mixed and maybe was on the side we didn't get to eat yet. I only ate half of my burrito because it was a pretty large portion. Kind of sucks to pay an extra dollar to not even get the guac we paid for that is listed on the menu. The chicken was kind of plain, not much seasoning, sort of disappointing. Rice and beans were fine, cilantro was good, salsa was nice. I don't think I would get the burrito again if I came back.My boyfriend enjoyed his carne asada super burrito, his also didn't have the guac we paid for. He thought the meat was well seasoned.Yeah, disappointed, would not return.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch with a group of 10 people. They have plenty of seating which is great for a large party but our food wasn't the best.My table got:3 tacos: fish, carne asada, al pastor (1/5) - fish too spicy, carne asada not well cooked, taco too hardCarne asada regular burrito + guac (2/5) - carne asada pieces are very small and hard, almost seemed like ground meatCarne asada super nachos (2/5) - barely any meat and the nachos were a bit undercookedPros were free chips and yelp check in gives a free drink!

Hi!The food was really delicious! I loved the tacos, I can't wait to order again. My only complaint would be that the tortilla on the fish taco is too thick and the ratio of fish to tortilla was off. Otherwise, the fish itself and the salsa on top was delicious!
