Las Palmas Super Burrito

My childhood in a food form lolLas palmas upped them prices but listen everybody did! Everything is so expensive right now!!! For that $20 ima spend it on these steak and shrimp fries OKAY!!!!They always load everything and take good care of you when you come through! I love it here lolAs you can see from the photos, I tore this uppppp!

Fish and prawns were amazing and fresh. No concerns or problems noted during the visit.

We can never get over this cravings. Honest to goodness. The portion is huge and super delicious. Not greasy at all. Always cook to perfection. Must it eat while it's hot.

They're now passing off Basa as Catfish just like JJ's Chicken & Fish! Beware & their prices are high as well! I knew something was off with the fish from the look & texture of the meat of the fish as well as taste! A real let down from these Darn restaurants ' they need to be sued big time! How in the world do you sell something to someone that they didn't order? Scandalous is the word for this Hood Establishment!

I first started coming here in 1998 for the fried fish. I remember driving all the way from Richmond with my god sister to try this place because so many raves about their fish. The fish was great. However, there was always a wait. Over the years I started trying other items on the menu. Their super burritos are enormous, tacos like a baby burrito, enchilada platter can be shared among two and the hush puppies pretty tasty. The taco salad became my favorite and go to. Today since my son and I were passing through and needed a bite as we had a few places to go we stopped in to place an order. He ordered a super ground beef burrito and he said the meat tasted off. My chicken enchiladas look nothing like my previous photo and visit. Everything about it tasted different. The enchilada sauce wasn't the bright red, the green salsa tasted different, the beans were bland. Hours later the food isn't sitting well on my stomach. I feel horrible and didn't eat one complete enchilada. I've had to take an antacid and could use a Ginger Ale. I'm wondering if ownership changed. I did not see the older woman of brown accustomed to seeing when I'd stop in to order.The restaurant no longer has tables to dine in. Which is fine with me. Due to location it's not somewhere I'd sit down to eat. It seems since Covid many restaurateurs have lost their zest for cooking quality food. Regretfully, this was money down the drain.

Food and service use to be the best, 2025, both can suck. Especially with this short male Latino cashier. He,s rude, will try to cheat you out of your change and give you something different than you ordered, especially when ordering seafood. If you complain at the counter, food poisoning is what you'll receive when ordering seafood. I imagine the owners thinks he's great since he will give you whatever they have and fewer portions.

Poor customer service automatically makes food taste bad. However, the catfish and prawns were good. Prices are very confusing and the person behind the glass is no help, barely speaks English, and is rude. He is not good for business....

Amazing food was great. Great customer service. recommend if you haven't tried yet. Steak shrimp burrito.
