Not a lot of rice cake bakeries in the Santa Clara area, but this place always has some fresh made rice cakes available. I love their song pyun especially for Korean holidays!

We ordered rice cakes for my son's baek-il party, and the lady working there was so kind. She was super nice and just seemed so happy to work with us. We ordered what my dad recommended, and it was a fan favorite at the party. We thought we'd have more left over, but they were basically all gone by the end of the party! Thank you, Kung Sil Rice Bakery, for helping complete my son's baek-il party.

Best eaten fresh. Our absolute favorite! We feel so lucky to live in the Bay Area where foods we like are not only so delicious and authentic but also available to us. Thank you!

Had individually wrapped rice cake and boxed duk for 1 year birthday. Hope to see them do more variations in the near future.

Amazing rice cakes! We got mujigae tteok and honey gul tteok for our wedding. They were beautiful and delicious, and Ms. Choi helped us coordinate pick-up with HMart on the day-of.

Great service and the dduk is so soft and fresh. The price is very reasonable and less than another dduk place in the area. I highly recommend ordering for parties or special events.

Kungsil rice bakery distributes rice cakes to Korean markets like Hankook and Koreana Plaza. A wide variety of rice cakes are sold, including songpyeon, kkul-tteok, baram-tteok, jeolpyeon, injeolmi, chapssal-tteok, mujigae-tteok, yeongyang-chaltteok, yaksik, and various kinds of siru-tteok. When they are shipped to Korean grocery stores, they generally arrive in the morning, but not the hour the store opens. It is best to purchase them when they are fresh, not when they are a day old. When they are eaten fresh, Kungsil's rice cakes are very good. I especially like their yaksik and kkul-tteok.

The rice cakes are always fresh, whether you get them directory from Kungsil or from Korean Markets. I really love the authenticity as compared to the rice cakes you can have in Korea.
